Jungkook's POV
"I love you." She finally says without blinking.
This is it.
The moment I've been anticipating for a while.
She didn't say 'I love you too'. She didn't casually just return me a favor and that's when I knew.
Nobody can love me like her.
Scratch that. Nobody can love like her.
So wholeheartedly and completely. There's no need for her to use her lips, her mouth, her tongue, those delicate fingertips. She doesn't need to use touch to show me that she loves me, because it's just there. All this time her devotion and adoration was radiating from within her like a beacon and I was attracted to the light like a moth to those gentle, welcoming flames of hers. I didn't care if I would get burnt and even if I did, I would rather feel the pain than feel nothing at all.
For the first time feeling doesn't hurt. And it was worth risking everything for.
I didn't have to hurt myself in order to feel something either nor did I have to hurt myself to cover pain. Because there wasn't any pain to begin with.
Being with Elena is just this.
Her and me.
There's only us.
There are times that I completely forget who I am, or who I used to be, specifically. She embraces literally everything that makes me who I am and even though she knows that I was molded in a way that my edges could cut her deeply, she still finds it in her to forgive me. However, she isn't an idiot. This woman is a fighter. Even when I am wrong, she will point it out one way or another. She hasn't forgotten what I did to her, yet she uses the pain I inflicted as fuel to add to her already blazing fire. She burns so luminiously and she's unaware of it, so I would gladly remind her that every chance I get.
For once the flames didn't burn my fingers when my fingertips grazed it.
Instead they encompassed me in their sweet warmth.
I don't deserve her.
Nobody does.
There isn't another human alive that's worthy of Elena Thorne. Because, she doesn't simply exist in a gray world. She doesn't just paint it with her emotions or when she makes art while dancing gracefuly or when she's just casually walking down the street with her bag slung over her shoulder in her warm fuzzy sweaters and her soft coats. Hell, her soul is more vibrant than anything I've ever created and even when I attempted to mirror everything I saw in her on a blank canvas it still wouldn't be perfect.
She is beautiful in every single little detailed flaw that makes her who she is. She finds beauty in little things and I find that beautiful about her. I love her so much that my chest aches when she's next to me. Like buildings falling apart inside me or fucking cities collapsing deep in my core ready to bury me alive. She's so alluring and so fucking beautiful it causes shivers to rain down upon my spine.
But then she's there with her sweet smile and her sweet embrace and everything is suddenly okay.
"Told you." I can't help but smile as I lift my body off the marble bench. I draw her close so that I can kiss her as in to pour every single emotion I have in me into her and sealing the promise we just made to one another. "I knew you'd say it soon."
Elena stands on her tiptoes in an attempt to kiss me but I purposefully keep my head up as I watch her feeble attempts to aim for my lips, but instead she kisses my chin. "Let's just go out and chill with our friends." She chimes. "They'll be wondering why we disappeared for so long."
I didn't realize that after everything, my friends were now hers as well, but I have to admit that hearing her say this warmed my heart. "I'm starting to regret having called them here." I say, gently lifting her chin and planting tender kisses on her neck. She's wearing a matching set that consists of a pale pink hoodie and track pants and my fingers play with the string that holds her waistband in place. With one tug, I pull it off and Elena giggles.
"Not now, we need to go outside-" she whispers, but my lips graze her ear. "Jungkook, I'm serious. They probably already think we're screwing."
"That earns us a little more time though doesn't it?" I mutter as I kiss that little spot behind her ear, while my fingers slide under her hoodie feeling for the swim suit she's wearing, but her belly is bare. "Tell me does your swimsuit match your clothes?"
"Mmm, it matches your swimming trunk," she practically whimpers when my hands find her perky breasts. Fuck, her nipples are poking through the material and all I want to do is rip it off her body without having even seen it yet.
"What I want to do will only take a moment." I tell her and she whines, because even though I know she wants me right now and here she doesn't want anyone to jump into conclusions, because she doesn't like being the center of attention like this. "No one will come in here sweetheart. No one can stop us."
My hands slide down her hips, tracing every curve until they sneak under the barrier of her sweat pants, feeling for the other half of her swimsuit. It's slinky and tight and too fucking tiny. It clings on her like a second skin and she might as well be wearing nothing. I can feel myself getting hard at her softness. Her texture. Her pussy is probably wet and hot. It's a pleasant change. Taehyung is curled up on one of the deck chairs in his hoodie. This guy is like a cat, he hates the feeling of getting drenched. But still, I'm happy he's here with us.
"Hey Tae, aren't you gonna join us?" I call out to him and he shakes his head. "Trust me you're going to feel colder out here."
But for some reason he laughs softly as he finally nods, "Fine."
"Seeing that you don't like water very much, you can just deep your feet in." Elena suggests.
"Alright,"
Elena then begins taking off her pink sweat pants and then her pink hoodie not hesitating one bit to reveal her perfectly shaped body in that tight black swimsuit. The small black cups and the other half accentuate her perky breasts and her ass. I hate how with one pull the entire thing will come apart. It's too easy.
Jesus.
I can't wait to ruin her once everyone is gone.
"You guys?" Joy pipes. "Are you finally going to join us? Because you said you'd join us ages ago and you said you didn't mind us going in first."
Elena gestures at me to go into the hot tub and I follow right after her as she climbs the marble steps. She lowers her body and sinks inside the water with her hair pulled up in a messy bun. I follow her in and everyone looks at me as I enter the tub with my black v-neck on. Jimin and Taehyung already know the truth but Yoongi looks at me curiously.
"Dude we're not in Korea, you can just take your shirt off." He says and I inwardly sigh in relief. Normally, back in Korea exposing too much skin in the beach or at pools isn't really common and I guess you can call it a cultural thing. We mostly wear longer swim wear so that we don't tan and protect our skin from the sun, but it's also a sign of respect and it in a way wearing clothes while swimming signifies that you don't brag about your body.
"Nah, I'm okay." I say and I can feel Elena's hand on mine. I extend my arms on the marble and she curls up next to me, resting her head on me comfortably. Taehyung finally decides to bless us with his presence as he listens to Elena's suggestion and just dips his feet in, while his whole body is fully clothed. However, a laugh escapes my lips as soon as my gaze falls on Jimin, because he looks like a boiled chicken with his hands hanging on each side on the marble and his legs stretched out on the floor while a relaxed expression paints his face.
"Jesus, Jimin how long has it been ever since you've taken a break?" Yoongi asks while laughing.
"I honestly don't remember." He slurs. "This week I've only managed to hang out with you guys twice."
"Twice?" Joy chimes.
"Yeah, when I met with Tae, Kook and Elena yesterday at Amantes." To my luck, he doesn't mention anything about what happened with Daniel in the alley.
Hours fly by with us just hanging in the hot tub and just talking about ordinary things like normal people. I wasn't used to this and it has been a few months since the last time I brought more than one person over here. I think I haven't brought company over ever since Elena's birthday.
However, I enjoy having them around. Even Yoongi seems to like me a little more and so does Joy. I know she's sharp as a knife but she does give me the benefit of the doubt. Besides, the less they know the better.
"I need you guys to satisfy my curiosity." Yoongi suddenly starts looking at both me and Elena. "How exactly did you manage to gather everyone to help you about the matter with Seokjin?"
"Yeah, I don't get what either of you three have to do with this." Joy adds. "I mean, sure Jungkook is with Elena, but why did you involve Taehyung and Jimin?"
I can feel Elena tense up next to me and I rub her shoulder reassuringly. Taehyung coughs awkwardly and Jimin looks away.
"Seokjin is my brother." Taehyung replies shortly. "So, it made sense for them to come to me."
Joy's eyes widen like plates at the new information she just obtained. "What!"
"Yeah, and I happened to be with them yesterday when they told him everything." Jimin continues. "And boy; was it a shocker."
Elena bites her lip and avoids his eyes. "Anyway, there wasn't another way for us to stop this." She says. "It would be incredibly stupid and reckless if I just sent Jungkook to confront Seokjin, so we had to use the fact that he doesn't know we're together to our advantage."
"Wait, why would he even consider you two being together?" Yoongi asks. "Jungkook hasn't been at the strip club."
The heat rises to her cheeks and not from the water's temperature. "What Elena is trying to say is that Seokjin already knows that Taehyung is best friends with me and Jimin, so he wouldn't be suspicious of us in any way. Therefore, it would be safer for us to deal with things quietly, in a manner that wouldn't attract any attention and just surprise him with an empty computer."
"I see." Yoongi mumbles narrowing his eyes at me.
Shit, something tells me he doesn't buy it.
"Look, I live with my brothers and I know their every move, their schedules and their daily routines." Taehyung proceeds. "It's easier to keep track of Seokjin since we live under the same roof and even though we're neck to neck with our business, he won't suspect me much. Plus, it's more convenient for them."
"Alright, then that leaves Jimin." Joy says. "How come you decided to tell him?"
Elena laughs nervously, "I had no idea that Taehyung was going to invite him last minute."
"I felt sorry for him because he's an overacheiver." Taehyung pipes. "He wouldn't stop practicing if I didn't drag his ass out of the studio."
"That's really sweet of you to do."
Elena reaches for a beer on the side and opens it. She gets up and stands on the bench so that everyone can focus on her. The water now is reaching her knees. "Since we're all gathered here, I just want to say thank you to all of you." She begins. "Thank you for helping me the time I needed it the most and thank you for being here." She mutters a small always, that was barely audible, but I could read it in her lips as she spoke. Her eyes fall on everyone but they stay on Yoongi and Joy. "Cheers you guys."
"Don't worry about it babe." Yoongi smiles. "Anything to save your dumb ass."
"I mean, I didn't do much but-"
"Shut up and just freaking take it." Elena chortles.
And with that we clink our bottles in unison.
