AMANDA spots TG her friend and also choreographer in the hallway. She yells out his name drawing attention from other students. She ignores the stares.
"HEY! TG!"she waves at him to stop walking.
TG stops and smiles "hi,how are you doing"
"I'm fine"she stands leaning on the wall to avoid being pushed by students rushing to class.
"You look nice today"TG tells Amanda
"Thanks you don't look too bad yourself"
"Sooo...."
"soooo..."
There's an awkward silence for a few seconds before TG breaks it "yeah so...."
"Look, a little birdie told me you like someone" Amanda interrupts him
TG nods slowly "yep! Everyone likes some one. I like many people. For example, many people would disagree with me but I like the new Computer teacher"
Amanda takes a step back "hol' up" she looks at him wierdly
TG gives an offended "what no! It's not what you are thinking"
Amanda chuckles awkwardly "oh sorry wrong context"
"Don't worry about it" TG flicks his wrist dismissively.
Amanda continues "well to be specific, I meant romantic admiration"
"Yeah the rumour says" TG gives a teasing smile. The hottest rumor in school is the quiet dancer likes a girl.
It might look like it's not a big deal but TG is very quiet and keeps to only his friend group. He has a fan base both inside and outside the school. Due to his social media with 250,000 followers. You could say he's some kind of local celebrity.
Alot of girls crush on him but he's never been serious about his love life because he puts all of his focus into one thing, his promising dance career.
Word of the quiet local celeb having a crush on a girl is big news. Everyone wants to know who she is.
Rumor says he was telling his mum in a supermarket after she teased him about being incapable of having feelings. He told her in these words "I've got a girl in mind Mami. You'll like her"
Noone knows who started the rumor but TG has failed to deny it.
"Is it true?" Amanda's brows rise in excitement and surprise.
"Maybe yes, maybe no" TG shrugs playfully
"I heard it's a member of my music group " another rumor is, it's a member of the music group he choreographs for Golden girls.
It's an all female dance group comprising of 7 members.
To the public it's a perfect group of highschoolers but alot goes on offstage. The girls are getting more popular daily due to social media promotion. They perform at school programs including other schools. Also at parties, weddings and anniversaries.
"Hmm a GG member?" his eyes turn dark and he leans in closer "maybe yes , maybe no"
"Haha funny" Amanda says dryly pushing his forehead back
"I'm not denying this"TG says
"I know but who is she" Amanda presses on
TG sighs " Why do you wanna know so bad?"
"Info purposes"Amanda gives a speedy reply.
"That's not an important enough reason, Mandie." TG says in a sing-song Voice
"Look TG, my members are my no.3 priority"
"Yeah?so? That doesn't change anything" TG counters
"Point is..."Amanda begins
"Wait" TG interrupts "just wanted to ask.. like it doesn't matter or mean anything to me. Your answer would totally not affect me in anyway. But who's your no.2 priority?" TG leans in a bit closer
"My family"
"Your no.1 priority? Any lucky guy?"
"Well this person is the best, the most charming, nicest, sweetest, always there for me."
TG gets excited "his name is?"
"Well they are three. They come in package"
"Wow so what are their names?"
"God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit. Son!" Amanda does a pose with her hands folded nodding her head.
"Okay bye!" TG turns around to leave.
Amanda laughs loudly "wait calm down nau"she holds his wrists to stop him.
TG looks at his wrists slowly then at Amanda.
"Sorry"Amanda lets go of her grip and gets kinda shy "I just wanna know. I look out for my team, you know?"
"I understand but we both know you just love gist" TG smiles.
"Ah ahn TG. What do you take me for?" Amanda's pretends to be offended
"Okay you are just looking out for your teammate "
"I think I know who she is though. I have a hunch" Amanda rests a finger on her chin in thought
This piques TG's interest "really?"
"Uhuh! I'll tell her." Amanda turns to leave then turns back around "Or should I?"
"I mean I don't think there is a need to since she already knows"
"She knows?"Amanda's eyes bulge out "when did you tell her?"
TG moves very close searching her eyes for confirmation "I think she does. She's seen the obvious signs and she is playing hard to get"
"Uh? Strange" her brows furrow in confusion
"Or maybe she's just a little stupid and didn't even notice"
TG takes a few steps back
"I don't think she likes you"
"What?"
"Yet!" Amanda interjects "But I can try to pull some strings"
TG sighs"you know what I think?"he grabs her hand and pulls her close. Amanda become agitated "I think you.. I mean she is just plain stupid but you know what's funny"he chuckles humourlessly
"What?"
"I like her stupid" he lets go of her hand "try your best ,Mandie"
He walks away leaving a confused Amanda...

Amanda meets the Golden girls and tells them what she thinks.
"He likes Prosper "(PROSPER is a member of the music group)
"What? No!" Proper quickly comes in
Aliyah claps "Said it! You owe me 100 bucks , Betty"
"Whatevs" Betty hands it to her
Success is shocked (Success is the name of another member) "Wait you guys bet on it?"
"Yep!"Aliyah says "And it was all worth it"
"Okay..so what next?" Precious asks
Aliyah is quick to respond "we wait"
"We can't wait forever, stupid"Mary says annoyed with all that's going on
"I'm not stupid" Aliyah is offended
"Yes you are!" Mary pokes her chest with her finger.
"Okay shut up" Amanda separates them "Lili's obvious stupidity doesn't matter"
"Hey!"
"I'm sorry but you aren't the brightest bulb in the room"
Lili storms to a chair "I'm done, I'm just done"
Amanda continues "well from the conversation, I think she should go for it"
"I don't like him!"Prosper whines
"Oh shut up we are trying to give you a love life" Betty shushes her
"He did sound ready!" Amanda nods
"Let's do it" Success says

Prosper is at the door of the school cafeteria being prepped by GG
Success starts "don't be shy"
Precious adds"yeah face him. Show him your sexy"
Everyone looks at her wierdly
"What? the girl is kinda sexy"
Mary continues "roll 'em up for 'em"
Betty pat's her shoulders "yeah be your self "
Lili corrects her "just a level higher than your regular self "
"Okay that's enough" Amanda interrupts" you guys are stressing her out." She cups her cheeks" hey look at me. Two words. Be you!"
Prosper sighs "okay"
"Deep breaths" Mary says
Prosper does the breath routine "I'm ready. I'll go"
She takes a few steps
"Quickly!"Precious shouts
Success hits her arm "shut up ,let her be"

TG is with his gang. He's sitting in the centre. He's bored out of his mind. He doesn't even laugh at David's jokes. Oh wait, no one laughs at David's jokes.
Moving on, Prosper appears at their table shaking, literally.
David is the first to notice her "uh... can we help you?"
Prosper stutters "uh...I ...uh... can... eesh!" She looks to GG who give her thumbs up.
"Say something" Aliyah mouths
"I ...uh"
TG finally speaks "are you gonna stay there all day or what?"
Prosper tries again "the thing is..."
"Please continue" Solomon urges David
"Well my friends, after all our waiting, the boss didn't... wake up"
"What ? No way!" Another guy named Victor exclaims
TG yawns "then what?"
"He was crying in his unconscious state"
All the guys start laughing. TG looks away not in any way amused. "I hate this"
PROSPER suddenly screams "I heard you like me!
Everything seizes in the cafeteria. The place is dead silent.
"My goodness" Mary facepalms "of all things to say"
TG needs to verify "sorry, who likes you?"
"You!"
"Me?"
"Yes you"
"What me?"
"Yeah!" She starts getting self conscious. All confidence gone.
David is chuckling lightly "wow mahn like ..."
Everyone in the cafeteria starts laughing wildly .
Prosper is so embarrassed.
TG is still laughing "who in the flying f- told you that, Prosper"
"Someone"
"So you won't mention" David says "okay stand there"
"Wait! So it's not true"
TG gets up and approaches her "look you are beautiful and nice and wonderful but she's not you"
Prosper starts sobbing quietly mostly from the embarrassment.
"She's taking it hard" Solomon whispers
TG panics "hey hey hey don't cry "
" I didn't actually like you. I just thought maybe... I wanted..." Those girls are dead for pressuring me into this
"Um here's a napkin"
Prosper uses it. "Thanks. I just thought maybe we could work something out or just..." she whispers "something"
"I'm so sorry"
"Who is she?" (The million dollar question)
"Uh?"
"Who's the lucky girl?"Prosper asking genuinely curious
"I didn't plan to let it out like this but it's Amanda!"
"What?!" Amanda shouts from the doorway
"It was so obvious"TG states. He stands a few feet away from Amanda "you were just too darn stupid"
"Wow thanks alot"
"You're welcome baby"
"Oh I am not your baby"
"Why?"
"I like someone else"
David snakes his arm around her waist "yeah me"
Amanda slaps his hand away " not you moron!"
"Then who" David asks offended
"Not telling. Come on Prosper let's go"
"Okay" Prosper says
Everyone applauds Prosper for her bravery
"You were brave Prosper. I'll give you that." TG says
"Thanks"
"I would date you but" he scans her body " you aren't exactly my type"
"Come to think of it, neither are you"
"So we're good"
"Yeah we're good" they do a handshake.
"I think TG rejected her nicely because we're all friends " Success says referring to the crew
"Yeah cause people confess to him everyday and he's usually harsh with his words" Aliyah agrees
"Or maybe -" Betty snaps her fingers, her eyes bulging with excitement to reveal her idea
"Oh no" Mary face palms
"He actually likes her somewhere in his heart and is just in denial or he doesn't even know about it" Betty says
"What? That makes no sense. How do you like someone without knowing? You've been reading too many books" Amanda says
"Haven't you noticed he has a soft spot for her?" Betty continues
"They are just closer" Mary says
Betty rolls her eyes "say what you wanna say. I'm still gonna ship them together "
"I would hug you but no" TG shakes his head
"Yeah I figured" Prosper shrugs
"Sorry to ruin your moment but we gotta go" Betty interrupts
"Yeah bye"
"Bye"
Prosper exits the cafeteria while being embraced by GWL
TG turns to his friends
"Well wasn't that a blast"
David frowns " yeah tell me about it. I thought we were something!"
Victor asks "you and who please?"
"Amanda and I. I thought we..."
Everyone brushes him aside
"So how did that club interview go"
"It was crazy ...I..."
