I swear I could write philosophy
Spit out verses of poetry
Clap my hands, jump up and down in glee
Cause I've finally found
Someone as Crazy as me
We're both crazy you and I
We see the world different, with a bright purple sky
But oh my gosh, we're so damn alike
I could cross my heart and hope to die
There's much to say, this verse is only the third,
I feel like I'm flying free as a bird
But if you were the bars, I'd gladly be caged
You lull to sleep, my storms that raged
If you were darkness, I'd gladly sit,
In deafening silence, my thoughts in a fit
But I know you'd soothe me, like darkness does
Calming my nerves and muting the buzz
Washing over me, like waves of an ocean
Intoxicating me like a potent love potion
Never have I felt so strong an emotion
I thought I couldn't love, What a deadly notion
I swear I could dance around in glee
Sing a couple more verses of poetry
Although it's time to say goodbye to thee
I know you'd come back
Cause you're as crazy as me.
