Everything was wrong and it wasn't getting better. No!!!! Instead it was getting worse. The ground had started releasing flames of fire from the ground. Ray and the warriors were trying to evacuate the kingdom, getting everyone out. While we tried to calm Jayden down, which by the way hasn't been going too well.
"Jayden!!!! Stop you ar..." Matilda shouts
She gets interrupted by a fire ball heading for her face cutting her off. She uses her powers to destroy the ball before it could hit her. She looks at me, our hope was deflating by every second. Drake equally looked worn out. Layla and her friends weren't having a good time cause Jayden kept on attacking them.
Right now, Layla created a large ice fortress around them. While we are out here cleaning up their mess, well trying to. Cause Jayden isn't listening. I rack my brain and think of a way, I knew nothing about this apart from what Sasha and Ray told us. And they hadn't mentioned a way to stop it.
Suddenly, my face brightens like a light switch had been switched on in my head.
"Hey guys" I shout
"What??" Drake answers frustrated
"Fire and Water don't get along right?" I ask
"Yeah, what are you getting at?" Matilda asks
"I am saying we can use your powers to stop Jayden like maybe weaken him" I say
"Good idea" Drake says thinking about it
"But I don't want to hurt him. He's still our friend after all" Matilda says
"You aren't hurting him just making him weak so he can cause less damage" I say
"Fine I will do it but how are we gonna go about it?" Matilda says
"Ok Drake and I will make sure that he doesn't move, attack anyone or anything. While you blast water at him" I say
"Ok let's go" Drake says
Jayden was still throwing fire balls after fire balls at Layla's fortress trying to destroy it. It wasn't going to last though, I could already see it cracking. It was just a matter of time but right now we had to stop him.
Drake creates a round large stone and sends it towards Jayden. Jayden sends a fire ball that blasts it to bits and his eyes locked on Drake. Matilda immediately blasts him with water, he lets out a low scream and turns towards Matilda. He was currently made of fire, so it hurt him.
I send a tree towards him and he sends flames of fire towards it burning it to crisps. Again, Matilda blasts him and he looks towards her but I and Drake had to put all his attention on us. Matilda was getting drained and even if Jayden was getting weak, it wasn't enough. I look at the ice fortress that was still sealed.
"Drake take care of him for some seconds. I will soon be back" I say
I fly towards the Ice fortress not giving Drake an opportunity to reply. I stop in front of the Ice fortress and I notice a large log of wood on the floor. I lift it up and throw it on the ice fortress creating a crack.
"Hey you better get your butt out here" I shout
They didn't still answer or come out. I lift up the log and land it on the ice fortress, still no reply. I began hitting the ice fortress repeatedly like a hammer trying to drive a nail in. I am ready to send another hit when the ice fortress shatters apart. The four royals walking out.
"What's your deal?" Jace shouts
"My deal is that your little princess pissed my friend off and now he is destroying everything" I shout angry
"And how is that my problem" Layla says with a smirk
I get really angry with that little stupid comment of hers, she was the reason why this whole thing started in the first place. I grab her by the collar and fly upwards with her. She was screaming as I flew upwards and then when I was high enough, I look at her with a smirk.
"You are right. It's not your problem" I say
I let her go as she screams dropping to the ground. If she landed on the floor, she will probably die or if the universe was nice enough, severely injured. When I saw she was getting close to the ground, I fly towards her and catch her by the collar. I caught her and landed on the floor, flinging her to her friends.
"Don't piss me off" I say glaring at her
"What do you want??" Tehilla asks quietly
"I need your Ice Princess to help weaken him" I say
"I will do no such thing" Layla says holding on to Max
"You talk like you have a choice" I say with a smirk
"If she doesn't want to do it. She won't" Max says
"We will see whose gonna come crawling back when my friend comes for you. You know all his anger is towards you and he is going to come for you. Good luck" I say smirking looking at Layla
Layla had her jaw tightened and I knew my words had an effect on her. I fly upwards going to help Matilda and Drake in the sky. Jayden sends a fire ball towards Matilda and I send it to the other direction. As Matilda was too busy blasting him with water. She smiles thankfully at me and I smile encouragly at her.
"We aren't getting anywhere with this" Drake shouts
"Just some minutes more" I shout
Layla flys besides me and her jaw was tightened, her fists clenched. It was so obvious she was doing this against her will, and that's what even made it all the more fun.
"What do I have to do?" She asks not looking at me
"Help Matilda and blast at Jayden. With your powers and hers, he will definitely get weakened" I say
She nods her head and moves towards Matilda also blasting Jace. Immediately, Jayden begins to shout and begins sending fire balls at different directions to stop whatever was causing him pain. Soon, everywhere begins calming down. The flames and lava had stop pouring out of the ground.
Jayden begins curling into a ball, the fire around him going away like it never existed. He falls down from the sky, he looked unconscious. I fly towards him and catch him before he hits the ground and lie him gently on the floor. The others land beside me. Phew!!!! I am so happy we could stop it.
"This doesn't change a thing" Layla says
"It doesn't but thank you" I say
She only nods and join her friends as they teleport away. I look at Drake and Matilda, they looked drained and tired. So did I, I look towards The Fire Kingdom or what was remaining of it. It looked awful and terrible but I know with a little fixing up here and there it could turn back to normal.
"Guys I know we are tired but we have to go" I say
"Yeah, let's go" Drake says
Matilda didn't even say anything, she just laid on the ground beside Jayden. We hold each other's hands and picture The Heavens Dome. We land in the training area and immediately, Ray sees us. He sighs out in relief. The maids immediately surround us and I close my eyes giving in to my body.
I wake up to my muscles aching and I felt really weak. My stomach grumbles and I know I needed food. I look around the room and notice it's the same room I was in the first time I came here. I slowly crawl out of the bed and walk out of the room, not having time to take in the sight.
I walk down the stairs and hear voices. I follow it and enter the lunch lounge, just what I needed. I go to the lady and order a big plate of food and it's when the food is in my hand, that I notice Drake sitting in a corner. I walk towards him and drop my plate on the table.
"Hey" I say
"Hey, are you feeling better?" He asks
"Yes I guess, I was just hungry. What about you?" I ask
"I am getting better" He says
"How is Matilda and Jayden?" I ask
"Matilda just needs rest like us and Jayden also needs rest. It's just pretty much rest" He says
"Well that's good to hear" I say
"That was intense huh" He says
"Really. I thought we weren't going to win though" I say
"Me too but your idea worked. I guess you really do come up with great idea Ashes" He says
"Thank you, wait what did you just call me??" I shout
As if on cue, Jayden sits beside us. He looked tired but had a smirk on his face.
"Jayden are you better now??" I ask concerned
"Yeah" He says
"Are you sure?" I ask
"Yes Mom. I am okay" He says rolling his eyes
"I just wanted to know" I say pouting
"But I can't remember anything though" He says
"What??" Me and Drake shout confused
"I really can't" He says
I look confused at him. How could he not remember everything that happened?? I look at my wrist watch and my mouth drops at the time. Damn!!!! My parents will be home by now.
"I have to go. I am sorry, tell Matilda I asked of her" I say rushing
"Where are you going??" Drake asks
"Home, I am already late" I say
I close my eyes and picture my house. I land in the porch and hesitantly open the door. The lights were still off and I slowly walk towards the freezer. Suddenly, a sound stops me in my track.
"Where are you coming from young lady?" I hear my mom say from behind
Oh I am so dead!!!!
Hey guys, Layla helped them to calm Jayden down and Jayden can't remember anything that happened. Asher couldn't really talk to Jayden about it though, watch out for the next chapters. Many things about to happen and HAPPY NEW YEAR. May this year give us blessings and we shall all be in good health. Amen
