Christmas..
"Ary." I heard someone whisper
I slightly opened my eyes to see Liyah leaning over my bed
"Let's go wake them up." She told me
"You're so childish" I mumbled before blew both started laughing
"Bitch let's go." She said before pulling my arm and I sighed before following her out of bed.
We both stopped at Jr's door before slightly opening it and he was laying on his stomach with the cover off his body
Aaliyah smacked his but hard as hell causing him to jump and we both busted out laughing
He looked at us in shed before speaking
"Yo y'all play to fucking much" he said before throwing a pillow at Liyah's head and jumping at me.
"Nigga get up." I told him
"It's 9:00 y'all bugging." He said before laying back down and we shook our head before leaving and leaving the door open purposely
We slightly opened their door before walking in and we both climbed on to the bed before laying on our backs on top of them
My daddy slightly loved causing me to fall in between us and once my mama opened her eyes I was face to face with her
"Hi." I told her and she smacked her teeth
"Take y'all asses back to bed." My daddy told us
"Y'all really are lazyyy I'm hungry." Liyah whined
"Do I look like I cook," my daddy asked
"No, so fuck out my face" he mumbled and I mugged him

Aaliyah pulled the covers slightly up before opening the presents
"Let's go Santa." She cheesed before walking downstairs and they both groaned before angrily getting up
I followed her downstairs and Jr was putting on a shirt following us.
They always went all out for Christmas no matter how much trouble we got in, we were spoiled and I can admit to that.
"Before y'all open gifts separately, y'all can open this one that's for everybody" my mama said and he looked at her.
She got up and went downstairs to the man cave before a teacup Yorky ran out the door and I dropped my mouth in awe.
"Now kayonna." My daddy started and she held her hand up to block him
"My Christmas gift shut up" she interrupted and he smacked his teeth before rubbing his head
"Kay I don't want no Rodent shitting in my crib" he said as me and Liyah began to pet it
It was literally so tiny and cute
"Ouuu what can we name it?" Liyah asked
"Shelter, cause that's where is going-
"Kash shut up!" Ma infuriated and he tilted his head
I picked it up before looking to notice that it was a girl.
"Let's name her Bella." I suggested And Liyah nodded
"Bye Bella" my daddy mumbled and I smacked my teeth
"But if it was a pit you would be satisfied" I said and he nodded

We started opening gifts not long after

After a minute we were all downstairs eating breakfast while watching Christmas chronicles. I was hoping that they didn't forget Shawn was coming over tonight but we had another hour or two until then.
My daddy had gotten a call and he got up before going in the hall to answer it which caused me and Liyah to look at each other..

I got up with my plate before taking it to the kitchen and sitting it into the sink
As I was walking back my ma was gone and I rolled my eyes
Well that was the movie, cause if we peeped it, I know she on his ass right now.
I grabbed my Phone off the couch before walking upstairs and starting my shower. Today wasn't a wash day so once I got out I used a spray bottle to wet my hair a little before applying product and leaving it out.
Today was gonna be chill so after I applied lotion I slid on a cami crop and some gray nike sweats before applying perfume Over my body.
To let time pass I started straightening up my room and Liyah came in before sitting at my desk
"Soooo what you wanna do for our birthday next week ?" She asked and I sighed
"Honestly..."
"I wanna have separate birthdays this year..." I said and she furrowed her eyebrows
"But why.."
"Because I really just wanna celebrate a birthday to myself, I mean we can still do something together but on our actual birthday I wanna celebrate it like it's my actual birthday you know ?" I asked and she nodded
"Well.. I guess we can have a photoshoot and call it that.." she said and I nodded
"That's fine.." I trailed off
I got a notification from my phone and Shawn had text that he was on his way
I replied before continuing to straighten up
"Did I do something wrong ?" She asked and I looked up
"No what you mean ?" I asked
"I just feel like we're getting distant because of me.." she said and O shook my head
"It's not that we're getting distant, we're just getting older. We may look alike but we're so much different and I'm just tired of trying to match the vibe." I explained and she nodded before getting up
"Aaliyah" I sighed and she turned around
"I'm not looking at you differently,'you're still my sister and I love doing shit with you but I just want something to me for once"
"I understand." She nodded before leaving and I sighed
After a minute Shawn text me that he was outside and I went downstairs before letting him in.
Once my daddy came around he looked at us like we was crazy
"You must've lost to damn mi-
"I told her it was fine." My ma interrupted before giving me a look
Technically she told me I had to ask him but I knew he was gonna Tell me no so she really was coming through.
"So we just doing shit without talking to each other first now?" He asked and I gave Shawn a awkward look
"I apologize, I didn't know everything wasn't straightened out before I came, No disrespect" Shawn spoke and my daddy nodded before looking at me
"Hm, go put some clothes on" he told me and my face fell.
"My stomach is barely showing-
Interrupting me he gave me a look causing me to clear my throat and I walked upstairs to change
I sighed before throwing on a oversized tee and I changed into some black leggings before going back downstairs to see him and my daddy talking
I walked up to them interrupting their conversation before lightly pulling Shawn's arm
"We're gonna stay downstairs okay?" I asked and he mugged me
"Like the den?" He asked and I smacked my teeth
"Daddy you have cameras down there, I'm not even trying to be grown why are you-
"Ight, ight Ary don't play with me.." he said before throwing his hands up in surrender
I shook my head before pulling shown downstairs into the den before picking up the remote
"Damn this is fye." Shawn said and I shrugged
The Den as a vibe, it had a pool table, bean bags, a long ass sectional coach, a big ass screen, and a mini fridge for snacks and shit. It was decorated with led lights, and it was themed as the New York giants since that was my daddy's favorite team.
"What was yall talking about ?" I asked
"Nothing, he asked me what any paps would ask for their daughter.. what was my intentions." He said and I raised my eyebrows
"And what did you say ?" I asked and he laughed
"To make you happy" he says and I shook my head
"Awe" I cooed before pinching his cheek and he smacked his teeth
"You want your gift ?" I asked
"Nawwwww" he said sarcastically and I rolled my eyes before going back upstairs
Once I came down with his Nike duffel bag full of shit he gave me a smile before shaking his head
"I mean it's not Gucci or nothing, I didn't expect for you to go all out.." I said
"Nah don't even worry about all that you know I don't mind" he said before rubbing his hands together and I laughed.
I watched as he unzipped the bag before pulling out football gear, snacks, and mens body care products. He looked so grateful for everything as he continued to go through the bag
"Damn thank you foreal" he told me and I shook my head before pulling a mini bag from behind my back And he squinted his eyes at me
"What?" I asked
"Don't spoil mee" he chuckled before taking the bag and I rolled my eyes as I watched him taking the paper out of the gift bag.
Once he openers the box he paused before staring at it for a second. He looked back at
Me before running his hand down his face and I frowned Because he looked like he was getting emotional.
He pulled out a necklace that had his and his mother's initials along with their picture in the middle of golden wings.
"I remember you telling me that was the only picture you had left with her, so now you can carry it wherever you go" I told him and he shook his head before pulling me

"Damn" he said before I felt him hug me a little tighter

Me and Shawn really had just been chilling, I can say that tonight's been the closest night with us.
"Go get it for mee" he begged
"No, it's literally right by the door upstairs he is not gonna say nothing to yo scary ass" I told him

"Appreciate it" he cheesed and I mugged him Before crossing my arms

He wrapped the blanket around his body before opening his arms like he was opening a hug
"No fuck you" I said and he chuckled Before bending his fingers in a little gimmie motion.
I rolled my eyes before going over into his open arms and he wrapped the cover around us both
"There was that hard ?" He asked

"Shhh the movie is playing" he whispered and j busted out laughing.
"Nigga I know you did nooot just shush me" I said
"And did." He said and I rolled my eyes
"Goofy" I mumbled before getting comfortable. I felt so at peace and I loved it.
After we finished the movie I sat up
"I want something sweet" I said
"Fat ass" he mumbled before sitting up
"Cookies?" I asked
"Yea" he said before standing up with me and stretching.
We walked upstairs and into the kitchen before I pulled out everything we need
"So I got a question ?" I asked as we rolled out the cookie dough
"Wassup ?"
"What's Alaina's problem with me?" I asked and he sighed

"No im not, I just feel mad weird energy when I'm with her " I said and he scratched his head
"Me and my ex was together for a while, and her and Alsina became best friends over time, she doesn't want me talking to anyone of it isn't girl but I'm not going." He said and I furrowed my eyebrows
"That's petty.." I mumbled And he nodded
"It's weird I know" he said and I shrugged
After we put the pan in the over he dusted his shoulder riff like he did something
"Boy I don't know why you excited, can't even cook foreal" I said and he shook his head
"Nah I actually can throw down" he said and I gave him a look

"I'm serious, next time You come around ima cook, I really can throw some shit down" he said and I rolled my eyes

I took a piece of the raw cookie dough before taking bite and he looked at me like I was crazy
"You know you can get sick from that shit right ?" He asked
"Well I guess ima get sick" I shrugged and he shook his head
We went back downstairs before he checked his phone and sighed
"Ight, It's getting late I think ima head back in a minute" he said and I shook my head
"It's 9:00 you know you can stay longer right ?" I asked
"You saying that, yo paps probably don't my ass in his crib till midnight Ary" he said
"Scary ass" I mumbled
"It's not scary, that's out of respect." He chuckled and I sighed
"Awe you don't want me to go ?" He asked
"Nope bye" I said with pride and he smiled before pulling me into a hug
I rested my head on his chest and sighed... His ass was hitting so different right now and I don't know why..

The twin's 17th
I woke up before lightly stretching and then falling back down. I genuinely hated waking up for school it's so exhausting.
I slowly got out of bed before going out to the bathroom and I noticed confetti on the ground leading to the kitchen
Catching on to the memo I shook my head before going into Liyah's room and she was slowly waking up also.
"Happy birthday." I told her

I pulled her into the hall and we both chuckled before following the confetti that led to the kitchen

On the kitchen island there was a set of "27 balloons with two baskets full of shit. He had designer bags and regular gift bags surrounding it and I smiled

My momma joined in before sighing
"Can't believe this shit" she said and I shook my head
"What the the hell y'all plan on doing again?" He asked and I shrugged
"I really just wanted to do a self care day, massage, facial, wax-
"Wax?" My daddy Interrupted and I raised my eyebrows
"Since when did you start getting waxes and why?" He asked and I looked at my ma as she took a sip from her drink
"See all three of us go about twice a month nothing major." She shrugged
"But- you know what I won't even do it today" he mumbled
"But Shawn convinced me to go with what he had planned for us today and ima just do all that this weekend" I shrugged and he furrowed his eyebrows

"We don't know." Liyah shrugged

"What did we talk about?" my ma interrupted And he sighed before turning around
"I got shit to do anyways" he mumbled
Me and Liyah shook our heads before going upstairs to get ready.
I took a shower before throwing on a fit me and Liyah had both bought together.
We both had on leather pants, a White long sleeve cropped shirt with a leather jacket and royal blue Jordan ones.
We both had a wet wave wig installed so all I had to do was spray and brush it out. I decided on putting lashes on before applying lipgloss to my lips and sighing while looking at myself.
I hate keeping up a act. I hate my birthday and I'm having trouble understanding what's so important about it. Maybe if I genuinely felt like I had something to live for I would see the importance, but today I really wasn't feeling it.
I grabbed my bag before looking at the bag that my daddy had gave me downstairs
I shrugged before going to the mini bag and pulling out a mni box. Once I opened the box it was a rose gold Rolex and I shook my head before lightly laughing. Every year this man gets his daughters some type of ice, and I have enough so I told him to skip on it this year and that it was fine.. but he knew how much I had been obsessing over rose gold jewelry and got it anyways.
I added the watch to my fit before grabbing my bag and meeting everyone downstairs.

After we had got to school I started replying to all of the birthday wishes as me and Liyah walked together.
"Okay, I'm gonna go ahead to my
Class until the bell rings I don't feel like waiting around" I told her and she sighed
"Wait bitch just keep walking hold on" she chuckled and I rolled my eyes
"Liyah I don't wanna be bothered with t-
"Just come on and trust me" she interrupted and I smacked my teeth before following her. We were standing in one spot before I noticed a crow crowding around me and I instantly got irritated.
I turned around to see Shawn approaching me with balloons and a big www gift bag causing me to lightly smile.
He really took the time out for me..
"Happy Birthday stink" he told me before pulling me into a hug
"You know I gotta be extra, I know you treat yo birthdays like it's just another day but I wanted you to at least feel something special you know?" He asked and I looked at him before nodding
"You really just made my day" I smiled I'm before shaking my head and looking down
I took the gift from his hand before looking behind him and my smile kind of faded
Me and Bray locked eyes with each other And I noticed he also had a bag in his hand. He looked off to the side before walking away and I looked down before I quickly shook it off my head and gave Shawn another smile.

"Sooo what y'all wearing tonight ?" Anna asked
"We got something cute planned out" Liyah said and I nodded
"What'd y'all get ?" Kayla asked
"I didn't open anything yet, what about you ?" Liyah asked me And I had zoned out from the conversation
"Ary?" She asked again and I looked at her
"Did you open anything ?" Liyah asked and I held my wrist up
"This from daddy" I said and Kayla's eyes went went wide
"Girl you said that lol it's nothing.." Kayla said
"Well I didn't mean too, I actually really like it I'm just not really materialistic." I said and she nodded
"It's cute though I like it" Anna complimented and I gave her a smile
My mind was honestly stuck and I don't even know why.. I felt distracted like something was going to happen and I hated that I couldn't shake it.
Later that night...
Once I had got out the shower I started g trying ready. I didn't wanna do a full face of makeup so I just applied lashes before brushing out my wig install.
Me and Liyah had matching out fire so after I put it on I made a few touches by adding perfume and light accessories
Everything was simple but that's how I liked it..
Liyah soon came into my room also dressed with a bag in her hand
"Wanna exchange gifts ?" She asked and k nodded before going into my closet to get hers

There also was a phone case with our pov ire on it with a bunch of perfumes and lotions
Once she opened hers she also pulled out a bunch of smell goods, jewelry, and she stopped before looking at me
"Oh you trynna get us both fucked up ?" She said before pulling out two lace sets and I started laughing
"Girlaaaa Victoria's Secret was having a sale I had too" I said and she shook her head
She started laughing before stuffing everything back into the bag and giving me a hug
"Ima hide it but thank youu" she told me and I thanked her too.
After a minute we went downstairs and he had his keys in hand
"Nigga where you going ?" Liyah asked
"With y'all of course" he said and I smacked my teeth
"Jr for what ?" I asked
"As much as I wanna hate, that little nigga got everybody coming through that hoe jumping." He said and I rolled my eyes
"Where mame and daddy ?" I asked
"They went out, so I'm taking y'all."
"Shawn is on his way to pick me up-
"I'm taking y'all" he mumbled and I gave him a blank stew as he walked out the door
I shook my head before pulling out my phone to text Shawn
"This shit already giving me signs to stay my ass home" I mumbled before following Jr

Once we got to Shawn's house Jr looked at us
"I know it's y'all birthday and shit so y'all gon turn up, but don't get too fucked up or you will get fucked up" he said and I tilted my head at him
"Bye" Liyah mumbled before pushing him away.
Once everyone noticed we had walked in everybody started clapping and Shawn walked up to both of us while holding a cup and giving us both hugs
We smiled before hugging him back and Liyah took the cup from his hands before downing it and throwing up a peace sign
"You gon be the one to get drugged with yo reckless ass slow down." Shawn said and they both laughed before she walked off
I followed Shawn into the kitchen where a crowd waited and they all greeted me and I waved back
"Aye you want a drink or sum?" One nigga asked and before I could speak Shawn spoke for me
"She doesn't drink."
"It's yo birthday you not gon get turnt for the one time?" Another girl asked and I looked at the bottle
"Ayo don't pressure her." Shawn chuckled and I shrugged Before going over to the island
I watched as the guy poured my drink in a fresh cup making sure to not take my eyes off it. I could see Shawn staring at me from the corner of my eyes
I looked at the cup he gave me before swirling it around a little and I attempted downing half before scrunching up my face
"Just throw to head back girl" a girl encouraged
Shit was disgusting.. how do alcoholics get addicted to this shit?
I downed the rest of the drink before I felt my chest begin to burn and everyone around me cheered before throwing their arms up
Shawn chuckled before handing me a water bottle and I took it before taking a sip. He must've knew my shit was burning like hell cause it was.

After a while of making my rounds to everyone I was a few shots in. We had played plenty of games that included alcohol and I was honestly
Getting fucked up.
It took a minute to get used to the alcohol feeling not even gonna lie, but once I did my body felt numb. I didn't feel anything that I was feeling including pain and I was okay with that. I was finally having a fucking ball and I deserved it.
As I was talking to Liyah and some dude she had met I turned my head towards the door and I made eye contact with Bray..
I looked at Liyah and she sighed
Shawn came up from behind before hugging me and realizing what I was looking at.
"I can make him leave if you want-
"No it's fine, as long as he doesn't bother me it's good" I said before throwing my hands up in surrender.
I used my same cup to pour more pink Whitney in it before taking a sip and Shawn took it out of hand
"You need to slow down"
"It's my birthday I deserve it" I whined and he gave me a side eye before pouring it into the sink
"Ary, yo ass is stumbling you must be crazy if you think I'm finna let you drink even more.." he said and I crossed my arms
He held a water bottle out waiting for me to take it and I sighed before taking it and drinking some of it.
I met back with Liyah before joining her lip singing in the song. We was having a good ass time honestly.
I ended up having another drink from Liyah and that one was the one that did it to my dumbass. I don't know what that alcoholic bitch mixed her shit with but it was definitely strong as hell
I started rubbing my head and Liyah paused before looking at me
"You good sis?" She asked
After a minute I looked up to see Shawn shaking his head before he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. He carried me upstairs before laying me down and giving me another water bottle along with Tylenol.
"Take this." He told me before shutting the door and I layed my head back
"I don't wanna, my sister is down stairs and I can't leave-
"Ary you know Liyah ass is safe over here, take it" he influenced and I sighed before taking the medicine.
He tossed me one of his shirts before pulling the covers up letting me inside them
"Ima step out while you change into that ight ? Lay yo ass down and I'll let jr know where you at" he told me and I sighed before resting my head back.

"How you manage to get yo sister more fucked up then you?" Shawn asked and I started laughing
"I knew she had a little alcoholic in her" I said before tilting my cup up and he took it from me
"I'm all for the turn up but that enough Liyah" he chuckled and I smacked my teeth
To be honest I was definitely distracting myself from reality.. Marcus wasn't here and it didn't feel right.. I know shit went down and all but I never wanted to see anything happen to that boy and I really was hoping to see him just to make sure he was okay.
"Aye you straight ?" I heard and I turned around to see Kyree
"Yea I'm good, where'd you go?" I asked
"To smoke with my homeboy" he told me and I nodded
He stayed with me this entire party and he was actually cool as hell.
The music had got even louder and the crowd got hype causing me to rub my head
"I need some air" I sighed and he nodded before following me out to the back pool area.
"You hood foreal ? You look like it's something on yo mind?" He asked and I sighed
"I'm fine it's just a lot going on" I said and he nodded
"Talk to me."
I looked down before fiddling with my fingers
"My ex went missing about a week ago, and I don't know how to feel about it..I kind of feel like it was.. I don't even know-

"We just had a lot going on already and we had a situation that added up" I shrugged
"I wouldn't stress it, this is to day enjoy it.. I would pray on it and leave it in god's hands." He told me and I nodded

"Mhm well make it feel right." He smiled before standing up and pulling me up with him
"It's yo party, and you should be the most turnt in this bitch let's go." He influenced and I started laughing.

After a few more drinks I was definitely white girl wasted. Kyree had made me stop drinking and I was honestly okay with that cause I was out of it
Youngboy blasted through the speakers and I Damn near stumbled trying to keep up with the crowd who was hyping me up. Kyree put his hand on my bag before leading me to somewhere to sit until I felt someone Grab my arm and I looked up to see jr With a girl his age behind him
"Man Liyah I leave for a damn hour and you like this?" He asked before looking Kure up and down
"Who is you and where the fuck were you taking my sister ?" He asked and I sighed before stumbling again and kyree flinched as if he was going to catch me
"Nobody was taking yo sister anywhere but look at her, she needs to sit down-
"Man fuck that lets go Liyah, where's Ary?" He asked before grabbing me up and I shrugged causing him to sigh.
"And you wonder why we don't let yo ass go no where" he mumbled.
