"We got it!" Severide yelled as the whole squad run to the mostly injured car.

"Gabby can you hear me." Casey yelled seeing Gabby full blood, he feel for a pulse but it was weak. He looked over her shoulder and his eyes grew big.
"Here is a little girl in the back." He yelled shocked.
"Casey, she is alive!" Brett yelled
"Is that her daughter?" Mackey yelled helping Brett.
"She looks like Dawson, do you see?" Kidd yelled
"Gabby, can you hear me!" Casey yelled panicking
Gabby moved slowly and a small voice came from her.
"Mommy!" The little girl scream as Brett helped her on the board.
"Shay!" Gabby mounted softly.
"Gabby, we are getting you out." Casey yelled as they bring a back board and getting her out, all run to the scene. Brett and Mackey examines them.
"The little girl is okay, the babysat helped, just a scratch on the head need to be examined, eyes still responsive." Mackey yelled
"Gabby is hurt, we need to intubate!"
"Whats wrong Brett!" Casey yelled wanting to know how she is.
"Internal bleeding, her lungs are collapsed!"
"Brett, we can't. If we incubate the tube never comes out, she needs surgery now!" Mackey yelled
"I know that!" Brett yelled still in shocked.
Mackey put a mask on Gabby, and a heart monitor. "Lets go!"
"I'll drive, Brett will you help her?"
"Can I?" Casey asked wanting to be inside with Gabby
"Go Casey." Brett told
"We'll meet you there. " Chief explained and got the group together.
"Go! She is family. Little girl already on an ambo to med." The other battalion yelled

"Brett!" Gabby yelled taking her mask off.
"I'm also here. Keep this on." Brett explained to her seeing how weak she is.

"She is at Med, she is okay." Casey explained

"Gabby keep your mask on don't talk." Brett explained as Matt held it for her.
"No, Matt. She is yours." Gabby told removing the mask
"She's mine? You mean my daughter." Casey asked in shock as Brett look to them.

"She is in V5th." Brett yelled pushing Casey away.
"Gabby come on!" Brett yelled doing compressions.

"You can't leave!" Casey yelled looking at Brett ontop of her.

"She had an anyreysm when she was pregrant, they told that it could figured. I I..." Casey told hitting the wall "I messed everything up!" Casey fall to the floor.
"Calm down she is gonna be fine." Chief told as all nodded knowing he is breaking.
"Guys! Look who I have here."
"April!" All yelled happily as they saw the little girl behind her leg.
"This is your mommy's friends, they are firefighters." April told bowing to her height.
"Shay." Casey asked as she look at him scared.
"Matt, I don't think she knows." Kidd told gentley walking to her.
"Come here sweetie." Stella picked her up.
"How old are you?" Kidd asked her playfully
"1, your 1." Little Shay showed with her fingers as Matt counted on his hand, to see.
"How are you feeling sweetie?" Brett asked her
"Fine. Where is mommy?" She asked looking at everyone, who smiled gentley
"She is hurt sweetie." Kidd smiled as she look at her nodding
"What your name?" Severide smiled at her

"Shay, I had a friend with that name."
"Really?" She asked smiling
"Yeah, your mom's best friends, and mine." Severide told gentley touching her back rubbing it.
"She named her after Shay." Severide stood up in shock.
As Dr. Halstead came out.
"How is she?" Casey asked
"We did everything we can, she is still in the woods but in the ICU. There is process. She is awake."
"Oh thank God!"
"Wow Matt, it's easy to put pieces together she has your eyes." Dr. Halstead smiled
"How did you?" Casey asked
"She kept saying how is my daughter and she need to tell Matt she is sorry."
"Can I see her?" Matt asked as all nodded
"Sure." Will told smiling
"We all?" Stella asked
"Yeah, just not to long. She is still under astesia."

Stella walked in first with little Shay. "Mommy!" She yelled of joy running to her mom.
"Baby!" Gabby smiled embracing her in a huge hug.
"Gabby!" All yelled rushing in.
"Guys!" Gabby told smiling
"So good to see you again." Chief told smiling
"You guys too, Chief."
"Is she?" Casey asked pointing to Shay laying with her mom.
"Yes Matt, she is." Gabby told looking at her daughter.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Casey bolstered out.
"You never talked to me again, so I raised her."
"You could've tell." He argues
"I didn't had any symptoms until I was 3 months pregnant and you never said hi, so I leaved it."
"This is my child!"
"You said that you rather adopt after I had that aneurysm."
"Gabby!"
"No Matt! I just showed you that I still can have kids, you just don't believe in me, as usually." Gabby told looking at her daughter asleep.
"By getting your life in danger?" Casey yelled
"I told you, I'll risk my own life, and I did." Everyone looked at each pretending not to hear.
"Does she even know?" As Gabby looked away.
"Why are you here anyway?" Matt asked
"Car accident duh, and I wanted her to know her father!"
"Wait! So you wanted?" Matt asked shocked
"Yes! She needs you as a dad even if it's long distance."
"Your going back?" Matt asked as all turn to Gabby.
"I-I don't know."
"I want her to be part of your life even if I'm not in it." As Matt just went to her and kiss. She pushed him back
"Where gonna go..." Hermann told as all walked out, but was stopped by Severide.
"You called her after Shay?" Severide asked
"After Shay Elizabeth Leslie?" Moutch asked as Gabby nodded
"Yeah. Her full name is Shay-Ann Sylvie." Gabby told looking at Brett.
"After me?" Brett asked shocked, wanting to cry.
"I miss home and I miss you Brett. And yes Shay."
"I love it." Severide smiled kissing Stella.
"How is she?" Gabby asked looking at ber daughter
"She is fine, just a scratch mommy." Hermann joked.
"Thank you, how are things here?"
"Well here is Guana Mackey, this is Gabby Dawson our former Paramedic and firefighter. "
Firefighter? Mackey asked shocked "Sounds like a power full woman." Mackey joked
"Hey!" Stella yelled as all laughed
"Is Gruz still cooking?" Gabby asked smiling looking at her old friends
"Buzz off Dawson!" Gruz yelled as all laughed. As little Shay, lay next to Gabby on the bed.
"You're tired baby." Gabby asked kissing her forehead
"Can we talk, in private about Shay?" Matt asked as Gabby nodded.
"See you two later. " Chief told as all walked out.

"I'm just gonna say it." Casey yelled and held Gabby's hand "I miss you Gabby! I can't get you out. I want to be part of your and our daughter life. I need you."
"I miss you too Matt."
"Can I?" Matt asked showing to Shay.
"Yeah, pick her up." Gabby told smiling
"I can't believe, I have a daughter, we have a daughter. Gabby we have a little girl." He yelled for joy as Gabby laughed at him.
