When we’re together we’re like two tropical storms colliding.
Don’t get me wrong when we’re together it’s amazing.
We laugh,
We joke around,
We kid,
It’s like the ten thousand miles aren’t there.
But when it’s bad,
It’s horrific.
We yell,
We say things we don’t mean,
We hurt each other on purpose,
By we I mean you.
You yell,
You say things that you claim you don’t mean,
You hurt me on purpose,
And I’m the one who’s left in tears, heartbroken
And you’re the one who comes back asking forgiveness.
Why do you come back to me?
Because you know I’ll never leave you?
Because you know I’m the only lover who actually cares about you?
Because you just want someone to tell you that you’re awesome?
I can’t keep being your safety blanket.
