We rode along in the rain cold to the bone shivering. I heard hooves coming towards me and I looked beside me to see Kili reaching up to place his jacket over my shoulders. I gave him a confused look and said "Kili you'll get cold."
"Nah I'll be fine you looked like you needed it more." I smiled and blushed looking away to hide my face. "Thanks."
From ahead of us I heard Dori shout "Eh Mr Gandalf can't you do something about this deluge?"
Gandalf looked back with an eyebrow raised "It is raining master Dwarf and it will continue to rain until the rain is done. If you wish to change the weather of the world you should find yourself another wizard."
"Are there any?" Bilbo said moving his horse forward.
"What"
"Other wizards"
"There are five of us the greatest of our order is Saruman the white. Then there are the two blues. Do you know I've quite forgotten their names."
"Alatar and Pallando."I cut in to everyone's surprise.
"Yes you're quite right (Y/n)."
"And who was the fifth?" Bilbo said.
"That would be Radagast the brown."Gandalf replied.
"Is he a great wizard or is he more like you." Bilbo said sassily to which I had to hold back a snort by covering my mouth with my hand.
Gandalf seemed slightly offended by still replied "I think he is a very great wizard, in his own way. He's a gentle soul who prefers the company of animals to others. He keeps a watchful eye over the vast forest lands to the east and a good thing to for always evil looks to find a foothold in this world."
I saw Kili moving his horse passed me so that he was walking alongside Thorin I wonder what they're talking about. I then moved my horse next to Fili's who gave me a smile. "Can I just say since when was Bilbo sassy enough to come up with a line like that. I'm gonna have to remember it for next time I want to insult someone." I said Fili laughed heartily and agreed.
Kili's POV:
"Uncle Thorin can we talk for a moment?"
"Of course. What's troubling you?" He asked.
"Well I don't really know it's just when I'm around (Y/n) I feel something I've never felt before, I'm confused."I said looking over my shoulder to see (Y/n) and Fili laughing at something. Her (h/l) (h/c) framed her face as her eyes lit up with joy.
"Maybe you've found your one. I mean you and her have bonded well over the last day I wouldn't be surprised if she was the one." I nodded in astonishment and we fell into a comfortable silence.

Your POV:
We came to a broken down farm house where we made camp. Thorin told Fili ad Kili to guard the horses and then started a heated discussion with Gandalf. I decided to go into the trees to practise my archery. I found a clearing with an apple tree in it so I aimed my arrow at one of the apples and shot. It hit the centre of the apple and they both fell from the tree. I quickly darted forwards and caught it because why not and it looks cool.
I continued to shoot down apples for a while and when I had a significant pile I made my way back to the camp. As I entered the clearing I placed the apples down by the fire apart from one which I bit into myself. I saw uncle Balin sitting on his own so I decided to go and join him since my partners in crime were looking after the horses.
As I sat next to uncle Balin he looked at me and says "You and a particular young archer have been becoming very close, have you not?"
I looked at him in confusion but replied "And what of it?"
"Well have you not seen the way he looks at you, I wouldn't be surprised if you were his one." he said.
I snorted and said "I doubt it he's a dwarf prince and I'm not even fully dwarf how could I be his one. Even if I was I doubt anyone would approve of it."
"So your saying you like him?"
"I never said that stop putting words in my mouth."
Balin chuckled "Well about the no one would approve of it I disagree, I'm very sure that Thorin would be much happier with you than some random suitor and Kili's mother, Lady Dis would love you."
I laughed, shaking my head and made my way to the fire to eat.
Thorin's POV:
I was listening to (Y/n) and Balin's conversation not on purpose of course I just so happened to sit down close enough to hear everything being said. Or maybe I was just eavesdropping either way I heard the conversation but I wasn't sure whether to be happy or sad about it.
Even though (Y/n) tries to hide it I can tell that she does like Kili no matter what she says to convince people and herself otherwise. I care for both of them deeply so as long as they're happy I will be happy to give them my blessing the only problem is neither of them think they're good enough for the other. Kili thinks (Y/n) is so amazing and brave and (Y/n) thinks Kili's status means she will never have a chance.
I have to make sure they realise how perfect for each other they are, they could be each others ones.
Third person POV:
Bilbo took two bowls of food down to where Fili and Kili were looking after the horses. They were both stood there standing frozen to the spot without even blinking. Bilbo held out the bowls to them but they both ignored it. "What's the matter" Bilbo said confused.
"We were supposed to be looking after the ponies." Kili said.
"Only we've encountered a slight problem." Fili continued.
"We had seventeen." Kili said.
"Now there's fifteen." Fili finished still staring over at the ponies.
They started to walk through the ponies to check which ones were missing. "Daisy and Bungle are missing." Kili stated.
Bilbo started getting very worried and said "Well that's not good. And that is not good at all. Shouldn't we tell Thorin.
Fiddling with the hem of his cloak Fili looked over and said "uhhh no, let's not worry him. As our official burglar we thought you might want to take a look into it."
"Well uhh looks like something big has uprooted these trees."Bilbo said.
"That was our thinking." Fili replied.
Bilbo hesitantly continued "Something very big and, possibly quite dangerous."
Fili then caught sight of something and said "Hey there's a light. cmere." They all ducked low and made there way under tree branches and towards the flickering light. "What is it?" Bilbo asked as they crouched behind a fallen tree. "Trolls" Kili replied before he and Fili jumped over the fallen tree and ran forwards so that they were hidden behind a large tree stump. Bilbo quickly grabbed the soup and followed them pressing himself against another tree as a troll went past. Bilbo leaned towards the two dwarf brothers and said "He's got myrtle and minty. I think they're gonna eat them we have to do something."
Kili looked up and said "Yes you should. Mountain trolls are slow and stupid and your so small they'll never see you. It's perfectly safe we'll be right behind you" Bilbo started to protest but Fili offered him forward telling him "If you run into trouble hoot twice like a barn owl and once like a brown owl."
Bilbo started muttering under his breathe but then said "Are you sure this is a good idea." he turned around quickly but Fili and Kili were nowhere to be seen.
Your POV:
We were all sitting around the fire eating soup when Fili and Kili come rushing up panting and shouting "TROLLS! TROLLS! THEY MIGHT HAVE BILBO!" all of us jumped from our seated position on the floor and followed Fili and Kili down towards the Troll camp.
Me and Kili glanced at each other and in sink ran forward and slashed one of the trolls in the legs. He turned around and saw us.
"DROP HIM" Kili shouted.
"You wot?" replied one of the trolls stupidly.
Kili twirled his sword around and said "i said drop him." I got to admin Kili is being very hot right now. Shit, no, (Y/n) shut up.
The troll threw Bilbo at Kili who caught him but fell over backwards as the rest of the dwarves came charging out. We all stabbed at the trolls in the legs or stomach and it seemed like we were winning until two of the trolls got hold of Bilbo and held him by his arms and legs. "Bilbo" Kili shouted and tried to run forward but Thorin held him back.
"Lay down your arms, or we'll rip his of." One of the trolls said. Thorin stabbed his sword into the ground as the rest of the group threw down their weapons me and Kili being the last to do so.
