Description/Summary
"Deku's parents got into an argument one night, waking young Izuku. The outcome left him alone with his (slightly mentally abusive) father. Because of the quirk he grew up with, many people hated and bullied him until high school. Things change when one unfortunate incident after another occur, he's been scouted by a group of villains, and his already bad habits and dark thoughts get worse and worse."
This story is a villain Izuku/Deku story. There are some triggering subjects like mentions of suicide, mental abuse, and deaths. I really can't express how much I love really "eye catching" (I didn't know how else to explain it lol) Villain Izuku fan fictions. It starts out with the past which is great because it explains a lot and helps develop a readers understanding of the main character. This story isn't completely based off of the cannon anime but does have some correlations in some chapters. Izuku has an original quirk and his personality isn't completely based off of the anime if at all. There are no romantic relationships which I like every once in a while, especially with a good read like this. The way the author has planned out the book made me feel like they really did put a lot of work into figuring out what the storyline was going to be like. Which I really appreciate a well-thought-out plot. I also could be completely wrong and the author just winged it, but I feel like this was a well executed story and is definitely like "Mightless" one of my all-time favorite reads.
