Odin waltzed into his treasure vault with Thor, Loki and Aria in tow just in time to see The Destroyer retreat back into its cavern.

Aria skidded to a stop as she surveyed the sight before her. Her mouth hung slightly agape in shock as Thor and Loki came to a short stop beside her.

There was Shattered and melting ice strewn about the floor, icicles dripping down from the ceiling above them, and frost cascaded everywhere. The small ponds of water that were there as decoration were frozen solid, straight through and a few feet in front of the stairwell laid the blue-skinned bodies of the Frost Giants. At first it was hard to see them, as they camouflaged perfectly in the deadly winter wonderland scene, but once you got a closer look, you could catch glimpses of their twisted and smouldering remains on the floor.

The air that surrounded them was ice cold, and with every breath they took, a thick fog emitted in front of them from their nostrils. Aria opened her mouth and breathed out slightly causing a cloud of white fog to form in front of her eyes.

Odin and his three children slowly made their way up to The Casket of Ancient Winters, looking around every now and then surveying the damage the Frost Giants caused.

They could hear the ice crack and the snow and frost crunch beneath their feet with every step they took as they continued their way to the Casket.

They were about half way there when Aria looked down to her left and saw a moulted blue arm holding onto the stone edge, half-sticking out of thick ice that cracked where the bottom of the limb met the frost.

Aria shuddered and quickly averted her gaze forward where her eyes met a limp, frozen asgardian warrior.

She slowed down slightly as she took in everything around her. Looking at her eldest brother's disgusted expression and her others conflicted one, she couldn't help the thought that crawled it's way into her mind

All of this destruction was caused by ice she thought as she looked back at the now dead Frost Giants, Is it possible that I could be one to cause destruction like this?

She then looked down and examined her hands. She took notice of the slight frost that started to sweep it's way from the tips of her fingers, down to the palm of her hands in reaction to the frozen scene around her

She felt her skin begin to grow colder as she got closer to the casket, and the inevitable rush of adrenaline and fear that clouded her thoughts

"The Jotuns must pay for what they have done!" Thor snapped bringing Aria back to reality

"They have paid, with their lives." Odin responded calmly as he examined the relic the Jotuns nearly stole "The Destroyer did it's work, the Casket is safe, and all is well."

Aria could feel the fuming hot rage coming off of Thor all the way from where she stood beside Loki.

Thor snapped his head towards their father at his statement

"All is well?" he asked in a tone mixed with rage and concern "They broke into the weapons vault! If the Frost Giants had stolen even one of these relics-"

"They didn't." Odin cut Thor off

The more the family kept talking, the more the tension grew in the room. Even now after a few exchanges, you could feel it growing quickly, so Aria followed Loki's lead and kept silent and only observed the exchange between her rage filled brother and calm and collected father

"Well, I want to know why!" Thor voiced what both siblings had been thinking

Aria looked up at Loki, watching as his eyes drifted from their brother and back to their father.

"I have a truce with Laufey, King of the Jotuns." Odin stated calmly

"He just broke your truce! They know you are vulnerable!" Thor exclaimed as Odin slowly turned around to face his angered son

"What action would you take?" Odin asked him

"March into Jotunheim as you once did. Teach them a lesson." Thor stated confidently "break their spirits, so they'll never dare try to cross our borders again." he finished as he shook his hammer as emphasis to his plan

"You're thinking only as a warrior." Odin wised

"This was an act of war!" Thor rebutted

"It was the act of but a few, doomed to fail." Odin seethed as the anger rose within him

Aria shrunk into Loki's side as their brother continued to bicker with their father. Although Aria agreed with Thor about going to Jotunheim, she disagreed with his tactics. She would have gone to Jotunheim solely to find out if there are any unresolved issues, to make sure their truce stays strong. However Thor wanted to wade into a war, and ask questions later.

"Look how far they got!" Thor exclaimed angrily as he gestured to the dead guards and mounted relics

"We will find the breach in our defenses. It will be found, and it will be sealed." Odin assured

"As King of Asgard-"

"But you're not King!" Odin yelled, cutting off Thor.

Aria was slightly taken aback at her fathers tone, even her brother's were. He rarely raises his voice to that extent at Thor. She scanned her fathers expression and she knew Thor was really testing his limits with Odin right now.

"Not yet." their father concludes in a slightly calmer tone. Aria sees in her father's face that Thor's pushed this as far as he can, so she jumps in before things could get worse

"Perhaps we should go outside, away from the cold the ice is emmiting." Aria suggested

"Very well, Aria" their father states as he looks towards his daughter "take your brothers away from the vault, and when you do i wish you to return here and get rid of the ice, yes?"

"Of course, father" Aria said softly as she bowed her head slightly

"I'll see the guards clean up the remains once you've finished." Odin concluded before he backed away and left, pushing through the golden doors rather hard, causing them to slam backwards behind him

Aria glances at Thor's defeated expression before turning to Loki to find his slightly amused one, with his eyebrows raised and lips pursed

"Come on brothers," Aria said softly in an attempt to diffuse the thick tension built up in the room "let us go to the banquet hall."

"Yes" Thor stated in a monotone voice before quickly turning around and leaving the room

Aria and Loki stare at the doors where their brother bursted through

"I'm going to get Lady Sif and The Warriors Three..." Aria said slightly shocked, without looking away from the doors

"I'll meet you in the banquet hall..." Loki stated in the same tone, without losing eye contact with the golden entrance. He and Aria then strode across the vault and through the gates and parted ways, and unlike their father and their brother, they left calmly.

Aria ran through the halls of the palace to where she knew Sif, Fandral, Volstagg and Hogun would be, kicking up the back of the dress as her heels hit the floor.

The warm breeze blew softly through the loose strands of her bleach white hair as the sunset light reflected off of her skin beautifully

The only sound echoing through the halls being the sounds of her heels clicking against the floor.

She ran through the tall golden pillars all the way to the balcony that overlooked the training area

She placed her soft and supple hands lightly on the railing as she leaned forward ever so slightly to get a better view of the area.

As she looked around, she saw over by one of the weapons stands stood the warriors standing in a bout, sharpening their weapons and talking in hushed voices amongst themselves.

She picked up her dress as she made her way down the stairs towards the gladiators as they turned around to face the Princess after hearing the sounds of her heels clicking against the steps.

"Your majesty" Sif mock bowed as the warriors three followed suit, giggling lightly.

"Oh stop it" Aria joked as she lightly hit Sif's gear

"Where are the Princes?" Fandral asked as he noticed neither Thor or Loki, who always seemed to be close to Aria, were not in sight.

"That's what i came here to tell you-" Aria stated breathlessly

"Let me guess;" Hogun begun causing the warriors heads to turn to him, "Thor is angry at the Frost giants and wants to storm their home" he raised an eyebrow

"That exactly" Aria rolled her eyes softly as I tired smile played on her lips as Hogun nodded his head in confirmation

"Surely you can't be here to recruit us, the Allfather would never allow this" Volstagg stated with furrowed eyebrows as he looked between his friends

"No of course not, that would be foolish" Aria waved him off "i'm here because Thor isn't in the right mind as of right now and i've left him and Loki in the banquet hall where they await our arrival"

"Wait you've left Thor alone with Loki when he is this outraged" Sif asked concerned with raised eyebrows

Aria stared at her best friend with wide eyes as she thought about her statement

"Probably not my brightest moment" Aria said rushed before the 5 warriors ran in the direction of the banquet hall
