always something sweet, and usually private.
Shuichi doesnt mind going to do things like concerts as long as hes with you, but he much prefers more simple things.
he did take you to a fancy dinner place for your first date though.
even if it made him uncomfortable to be around all of the elegant pricks he wanted to impress you
ended up leaving early, after you saw him being uncomfortable
after talking about it you guys decided to just start having more at home dates
after a couple dates passed, you were at his house again
you guys read some books together, with soft music in the background along with scented candles
you ended up falling asleep on his shoulder, and he ended up falling asleep too
his uncle caught you and Shuichi
Shuichi was very embarrassed, but you didn't mind too much
"Oh! Y/n fell asleep.. They l-look really c-cute"

usually something overly romantic,
can't forget space themed for 50% of the dates.
for the first date he took you to a beach late at night
ended up making a lot of cheesy space pickup lines
he's been waiting to use those for a while, and now hes got you to use them on.
as time passed and more dates went by, he got even more cheesy
when you asked about this, he responded with
"With every date we have, I find more reasons to love you!"
needless to say you were a blushing mess, but he did start changing the dates
he did have a couple of at home dates, one of them was wayyy unlike the others
when you went over to his house, you guys ended up dancing in the living room with socks on, listening to old music
even though you could tell this was probably inspired by his grandparents, it was still really sweet
💚Kiibo💚
mostly date ideas he found on the internet, though he does let you choose often
for the first date, you guys saw a movie together,
he also read that he should take you to go see a romantic comedy
even though the movie itself wasn't good, you enjoyed seeing Kiibos reactions
he doesn't exactly get the point of certain lines being overused, or the concept of too cheesy
after the movie was over he walked you back home, as he read somewhere that it was more romantic
anyways so you were out of breath before you were halfway back to your guy's house
so you and Kiibo stopped off at a local 7/11 to sit down for a second
you sat down as Kiibo got a slushy for you
you looked around and saw someone with a slushy who looked really emo, and a pretty girl
but not as cute as Kiibo ngl, as he walked towards you, slushy in hand
after you regained energy you guys went home
"Next time, let's go where you want to go!"
"Wait.. I'm s-sorry, hopefully there will be a n-next time!"
ended up comforting him and cuddling the rest of the night
🦋Gonta🦋
always nature themed, well, mostly
he loves nature, but if you wanted to stay inside, he wouldn't mind. as long as he was with you
he had no idea how to have a 'date'
so you ended up choosing and bringing Gonta, and you guys went to a plant adoption center.
you heard me, a friggen plant adoption center with plants and stuff
ended up adopting 2 plants, both goldenrods, as they were known to attract many butterflies
and butterflies did help Gonta confess so,,,
so you got two yellow ones, as thats the only color they grow in. and now theyre both planted outside near your outside lab.
though the most recent date he just kinda,, hung out with you?
it was his first time inviting you to a date and you were surprised, but accepted nonetheless.
he took you to a place that had fairy lights set up on the trees, with a small pond nearby reflecting the sunset.
it was sweet, and you loved him and all, but you knew he had to get help for the date set-up
though the fact that he asked someone for help just to make you smile, you can definitely say hes a true gentleman
"Gonta gentleman! Gonta take Y/N on 'date' this time!"
🎾Ryoma🎾
usually something calming, or cheesy like going to a stereotypical cafe.
Ryomas previous lover loved doing cheesy things, and so he often tried doing them with you
give him a break, he forgot how to date while he was in prison
so your first date was at a cafe, and everyone mistook you as his parent
needless to say only home dates after that catastrophe
you guys often watched movies, snuggled together, along with a cat Ryoma snuck into the dorms
the cats name is Mieko by the way, and Ryoma named her that because it meant 'beautiful blessing child'
sometimes when you came over you two would just take care of Mieko
other times you would comfort Ryoma if he was feeling sad or lonely
occasionally you two would just like-- vibe together
and over time he warmed up to you, smiling a lot more, and actually making jokes now and then.
even if he acts like he doesnt care sometimes, he really cares about you
like you guys made a playlist together with alternating songs the you two liked,
some of them were really chill, also Ryoma listened to a lot of lofi hip-hop. mixed in with your weirdcore the playlist was unique to say the least
"Y/N, im not judging, but living island, really?"
he said in a joking tone, and you knew he loved you and you loved him.

surprisingly, he usually takes you to go do things
even though he didn't mention this, it's because his sister was sick and couldn't go anywhere before she died
so he wanted to show you the world in its entirety, well, mainly the worlds past
though if you were more interested in doing popular activities from the present, he would join in on them too
though if anyone else asks him, he'll say no
after a while of dating he took you out to a local jewelers, and you guys ended up having promise rings
it was small and simple but it meant a lot to the both of you
Korekiyo had his on a string, and wore it as a necklace
you did the same, or you put it on your hand, it doesn't matter to him
all Korekiyo cares about is that your wearing it, and he doesn't force you to show it out in public if you didn't want to
"It doesnt matter if you wear it for everyone to see or not, it matters that you love me, darling."
oh yeah, i forgot to mention the sappy nicknames every now and then.
