With a slow beating rhythm you could feel his heartbeat, right beneath your head. It was warm. Not much of a suprise there, with Katsuki around it was always warm.
But that's what you liked. Him. The way he never failed to make you warm all over. That was one of the few things about your boyfriend that were consistent. Which is what you were grateful for.
He knew what to do and how to treat you.
With a health condition like yours nothing was really out of the usual. But with a boyfriend like that boring was the last word you'd describe your days with.
And it's all thanks to him.
He keeps you going when your lost- or rather, he doesn't allow you to get lost in the first place. Katsuki knew about your condition since the day you met- it was the reason why you've met actually, and ever since, he had been mothering you like no other.
One would think that you wouldn't like that very much, considering how your everyday life used be so mundane and dull, but with Katsuki it's different.
He knew when you'd have to take your meds, he knew what to do when you felt dizzy, he knew all the emergency numbers on your phone, front to back and back to front.
Maybe that was why you fell for him that fast.
You turned your gaze upwards, looking at his face while he was reading. He looked so focused. You stared harder.
"Pff-"
You started laughing.
"THE FUCK YOU LAUGHING AT HUH!?"
He barked, suddenly irritated.
Yeah right
You knew damn well that, that was not the reason why you fell for this overly aggressive and hotheaded headgehog.
You took in his irked epression. The way he'd suddenly lose all focus, the way his eyes would burn with fury and his teeth gritt together. Yes you loved all of it. Especially that blush that adored his cheeks once he became aware of your staring.
He grumbled. "whats up with that look anyways? I got somethin' on my face or what?"
You smiled.
"No, not at all"
Your eyes grew soft and you layed back down onto his chest. He stared at you questioningly until he just accepted his confusion and went back to reading with a slight pout, which he'd deny having if you were to mention it.
You sighed happily.
It was this. Just this. He just had this thing about him, that you couldn't quite put to words.
He just knew how to yank you out of the dullness and into a world of excitement. Unlike the medical staff, he wasn't always soft on you. He didn't baby you the entire time, quite the opposite actually. He made sure that could stand on your own two feet because your not helpless, yet.
He was aware that if things take a bad turn then he'd have to carry you, but right now his priority was to get you to move. To not agree on laying around all day. He wanted you to want it. The desire to live a life that isn't full of shit, as he had said.
He is the reason why youre not staring at blank hospital walls anymore. It's because of him that you were able to enjoy your life again - the last time that happened being when you were about to turn 4.
That had to be why you couldn't help falling for him, why you would suddenly feel warm all over when it's freezing outside, why you'd fall asleep with a smile and why you would get excited about waking up again. To see him again.
Because being close to him felt good and you were tired of being numbed by medication and white hospital walls.

You breathed in softly as he stroked your head. He looked at your sleeping face, knowing damn well that it's going to be a pain to try and wake you up once the time has come. He looked over towards his nightstand and glanced at his alarm clock.
19:18 shit
If he wanted to get you home safely before you have to take your meds again, then he'd have to wake you up just about now.
He glanced down at you and grumbled.
So fucking cute
If he couldn't let you sleep any longer then he could at least save this sight on his phone. He reached out with the Hand that previously stroked along your back and grabed his phone.

He took several pictures from diffrent angles. A blush appeared on his scowling face as he stared onto the screen. God you were so cute. He glanced towards the corner of his screen noticing that the time to wake you up had come.
"mhm.."
You mumbled softly as he shook you lightly.
"Wake up dumbass it's time to get you home"
"mmh ... Katsuki ... five more minuhmm"
He took the covers away, leaving you to the cold air outside your pillow palast.
"Like hell- get the hell up we have to get you ho- STOP FALLING ASLEEP AGAIN!!- Alright thats it, no more being nice"
You let a questioning "hm" at that before letting a yelp escape your lips. He picked you up and started Walking towards the chair in his room, where he sat you down.
He started to wrap you up like a present in pieces of clothing and finally a scarf around and slightly on top of your head. You watched him as he fixed the scarf around your neck.
"There, now c'mon it's getting late"
He softly took your hand into his and you nodded up at him. He led the way outside his dormroom. As you two were walking down stairs you were greeted by familiar faces.
"hm? oh hey Y/N are you leaving already"
The voice of the red head made you turn towards him and you nodded softly. He smiled and as he was about to reply but Katsuki beat him to it.
"She always leaves at this time hair-for-brains, pay some damn attention"
He growled at his friend, who in return smiled ckeekily and apologised. The others bid you goodbye as well, which you again returned with a soft nod and with that you were out of the door.

The walk back home was quiet and yet pleasent. It was Cold outside but Katsukis hands kept you cozy and warm. You looked down at your hands as he lead the way again. You couldn't help but smile. Katsuki always treated you so good. As if on cue he turned to you and brushed a loose strand out of your face. You giggled happily confusing him.
"What is it now?"
"N-nothing nothing its just-"
"Spit it out already"
He grumbled. You smiled up at him.
"You're so cute Katsuki"
His face exploded into a red inferno as he stared at you for a second before coming back to his senses-
"Shut the hell up!! I'm not cute d-damn it"
You laughed loudly.

The two of you went inside your empty home where he helped you get out of those rows of clothing. With the last item finally hung up, you two went upstairs. You led the way inside your room where the first thing you touched was your bed, on which you flooped down on.
It was weird your room- no your entire home used to be full of medical equipment and staff to watch after you, but after meeting him you were able to refuse all of those things. You still remember him saying this very specific line about your home
'With a home like this I see no fucking need for you to even go to the hospital anymore - this place looks like one already'
"Oi dumbass which one do you want to wear?"
He held up two of your Pyjamas, one of which was pink with little rabbits on them, while the other was white with tiny bears on them.
You smiled and tilted your head.
"Which do you think?"
He grumbled and handed you the white one.

By the time you had brushed your teeth Katsuki had already poored you a glass of water and put it next to your pills.
You sat down next to him and leaned against his shoulder as he stared down at his screen.

"Okay, your good to go"
and with that you took your pills. Once everything was down, your throat hurt a little but now the nightmare was over. For now. He moved from the bed and towards your table where most of your meds were deposited.
One blue and two white ones for tomorrow morning. He put them on your nightstand before he went to tuck you in. You smiled up at him with tired eyes- the painkillers were kicking in.
He bend down and kissed your lips once, wanting to cut it short this time -
and yet, he wasn't able to. He bent down again giving you more and deeper ones. You moaned softly as his tongue lapped over yours. You sighed into the kiss. His lips sucked onto yours and his hand was softly caressing your cheek.
After what had to be at least five minutes he finally pulled back. By now he was already hovering over you. He licked his lips and kissed your forehead before mumbling softly.
"Good night, teddybear"
"Good night Katsuki, I'll see you tomorrow."
He nodded, turned off the lights and left.
