After the attack on the USJ, the students were allowed a day off to recover from the incident. While most students would embrace their day off with games, fun, and friends... however. the riders were more worried than usual. Mostly due to the new powers Haruto and (y/n) had now and the issue of the new found relationship of Mina and (y/n). The issue was the fact they most likely had to hide it from their families. Both had families been hoping the two got together for years. Now that they are finally going out, the familial teasing alone would be agony. They created the mutual agreement of "keeping it a secret". They had to not show their relationship at school or else it would be the talk of the school. After that kiss, both of them thought that was going to start them acting more... "couple-y". The two were walking back from their day out of trying to enjoy a proper "date" but the whole thing felt more more like them just messing around without any sort of romance behind it. It was simply them just being themselves.
(y/n): That movie was nice.
Mina: Yeah but the twist was so easily seen.
(y/n): Why cant the butler be the one who is innocent for once. At least the maid kicked some serious bu-
Soon they saw a racoon dog walk up to them and Mina was melting about how cute it was.
Mina: Awwww~ Look at it~ It's so cute~
(y/n): It is really fluffy
Suddenly, both heard a bit of rustling in a bush and a gleam in a pair of eyes coming from the opening.

Suddenly a goggled eyed person with a blank looking bottle burst out of the bush towards the fluffy animal
?: I'VE GOT YOU NOW MY FLUFFY BUDDY~!!
The animal scurried off and the figure was revealed to be a somewhat scientist looking teen with goggles on
?: Aw man. Looks like no essence for tinkering.
Mina: Who are you?
?: Eh no one important. Just a support division student of UA. Not noticed... which is all good! I like U.A! Ya part of it too?
(y/n): Oh! Were part of the hero course and
?: Oh wow you're really pink! *gets close to mina* Its really interesting to see someone with a unique skin tone~!
Mina: Uh...
?: Oh man! This is so cool! I wonder if my quirk has anything to do with my fuzzy appearance!

A sudden explosion occurred with a large villain walking out of a bank
(y/n): WHAT IS WITH THIS PLACE AND EXPLOSIONS?!?!

The odd kid pulled out a weird belt that both Mina and (y/n) know
The weird kid took out two bottles and shook them and then placed them into the belt.

The belt crank was turned several times until a series of tubes created a large machine form

The machine soon closed onto the user and then revealed the suit
HAGANNE NO MOONSALT! RABBIT! TANK! YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!
Build: Lets begin~
Build charged forward as (y/n) put on his belt and slid in the card
[KAMEN RIDE: DECADE]
Decade and Build started their attack on this villain
Villain: Heroes huh?!
Decade and Build proceeded to attack and stop the villains. Decade was getting more comfortable in his rider form. However... Diend was correct with the cards fading and re appearing after a few weeks, while this annoyed him, it allowed him to get more comfortable with his base form. Build was dodging and weaving around each attack and using his speed and strength to outmatch the villains.
Decade: You must be one of the other riders at UA
Build: Indeed I am! I hope that I can be a good support rider~ kekekeke~~
Mina: You got this Decade~!
Decade soon pulled out a card and slid it into the belt
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: DECADE]
Decade leaped into the air and did his signature attack while build headbutted the last villain.
Build: You have some skills there! What are you?
Decade: I'm just a passing thr-
Build: OH NO! I FORGOT MY SISTER WAS WAITING FOR ME! SEE YOU AT SCHOOL!!!
The new rider Build soon started to use the rabbit ability to hop large distances and soon faded from sight. Decade soon detransformed and stood with the most dejected expression
(y/n): ...Me not finishing the line makes me feel incomplete.
Mina: But that was cool to see you fighting alongside a new rider
(y/n): Yeah, but still *holds Mina's hand* lets keep going. Need to make the most of the day before school tomorrow.
The two of them made their way through the streets and window shopped, looking for ways to pass the time.

When they returned to school everyone was wondering if Aizawa was alright. To their surprise, Aizawa entered the room wearing bandages
Aizawa: Good morning.
Class 1-A: MR AIZAWA?!
(y/n): Shouldn't you be resting?!
Aizawa: My well being doesn't matter. More importantly, the fight is not over yet
This phrase made everyone become shocked. What was this next battle?
Aizawa: The U.A. Sports festival is coming up
Everyone: THATS A NORMAL SCHOOL EVENT!!
Haruto: Wait, is it alright to have a school festival right after a villain attack? It kind of seems unsafe
Aizawa: Apparently, the school is trying to show that our handling of the crisis is under control and we will be strengthened the security five times in previous years. Above all this is an event that wont be stopped by a few villains. In the past, the Olympics was the most watched sporting event until quirks came. Now the U.A sports festival has surpassed the Olympics in popularity and viewership. Along with this, plenty of high ranking hero's will be scouting for potential sidekicks. However they may lose interest in you overtime, so do your best to stand out. Homeroom is dismissed.
Everyone started to converse about what they would need to do to stand out. Mina, (y/n) and Haruto about their training regimens.
(y/n): I don't think my quirk will get any looks, plus all of the other guys have better quirks than mine.
Mina: Well we can all train together~
Haruto: Plus we can work on our rider abilities too.
(y/n): Yeah. By the way don't you guys feel like we're being watched?
Mina: yeah, I have that feeling too
the three of them turned to the doorway and saw a familiar furry person Mina and (y/n) met before... staring at them....
Yu: Staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare.
(y/n): H-Hey?
Yu- SO YOURE THE ONE!!
Mina: What?
Yu ran up to them and his tails started to wag and his ears started to flap about.
Yu: You are the famous rider of 1-A!
Haruto: I'm a rider too....
(y/n): Yeah... You're Build right?
Yu: Yep yep! I just wanted to say...
Yu suddenly spun around and he pointed at (y/n) in a pose that could only be described as "extra"
Yu: I SHALL BE THE ONE TO DEFEAT YOU AT THE SPORTS FESTIVAL!!
*crickets*
(y/n): Um... Sure?
Yu: I WILL BE THE FINAL EXPERIMENT! WATCH YOURSELF PINK RIDER!
Yu walked away from them and they were shocked at the whole exchange that occurred
(y/n): It's not pink!!!!
Mina and Haruto: It's magenta.
(y/n) looked at Mina and Haruto with a slight glare

Once they got up to leave their room, they ran into over fifty students crowding the entrance. And Bakugo decided to confront them... then every single person in the hall had the class in their sights.
(y/n): (thinking) I don't want to trust Bakugo with any diplomatic missions

It was two weeks of absolute training with no breaks at all. (y/n) and Mina decided that during the sports festival they would compete and try to become the highest ranked student. They were boyfriend and girlfriend, but they were very competitive. Always have been.
(y/n) was cooking dinner before his mom came home from her hero work. She was strong enough to reach the top ten but preferred to be a small time hero. She worked often late into the evening, and (y/n) learned how to cook to help alleviate the stress on her. His sister wasn't really a chef and prefers to order food. Thankfully she was at her house and not bothering him. After he had finished letting his curry simmer and placed the plates on the table just as his mom walked in the door in her hero attire
Mom: I'm home. Whatever you are making, make sure I get double portions.
(y/n): Welcome back mom. How was work today?
Mom: *takes off her shoes and walks to the fridge looking for a drink* You know how it is. Had to punch some bad guys in the face and stuff, helped an elderly couple, ate a churro for lunch. So how is Mina and school?
(y/n): She is good. We are training for the sports festival and decided to compete against each other.
Mom: You two were always trying to best each other *grabs a beer and opens it* So how was your date?
(y/n) felt the shock through his system. He tried to keep the relationship secret, how the hell did she find out?! He did everything to hide it. Even looking up videos on how to hide body language and tells.
(y/n): H-H-How did you know?
Mom: Sweetie, call it woman's intuition... Also saw you two being a couple shortly after you "hung out" today. *takes a sip of beer and takes a seat at the table* You really need to avoid hero patrol routes in order to keep a secret from me.
(y/n): *dying of embarrassment* Please don't tell big sis about us... I cant handle her teasing.
Mom: Don't worry, she wont know. You two are sweet together. Wouldn't want to ruin that with your sister's infernal teasing.
(y/n): Thanks mom.
Mom: *takes a bite of the curry* You'll make a good house husband if you cook like this.
(y/n): Thanks, but I'd prefer to be a hero.
Mom: Also I'll be at the festival. I'll be the mom cheering you on at all the events
(y/n): Mom... Please...
Mom: I'll knit you a good luck sweater and make a bento for your first sports festival.
(y/n): I'll appreciate the bento but no sweater okay?
Mom: Alright, because I don't know how to make a sweater.
Both of them shared a chuckle and consumed their meal, while (y/n) pondered what the festival would entail.
Mom: Also I'm going to train you harder than ever.
(y/n): D-Does that mean...
Mom: Oh yes.
(y/n): *thinking* Sojobo... please have mercy...
--Day of the festival--
(y/n) and his mother were walking to the festival and they all were getting looks from other heros and students.
(y/n): Mom... I love you, but why are you wearing your hero outfit?
Mom: Why not, I am a Hero after all. Would you have prefered my suit?
(y/n): A little bit. One of my classmates is a massive pervert.
Mom: How big of a pervert?
(y/n): I swear he is a perv goblin king
Mom: You don't say. Well whatever, I can deal with it.
?: Oh! if it isn't the hero Dana.
The two soon were called out and turned to see Mt Lady walking towards them holding a box of takoyaki.
Mom: Hello Mt. Lady, you seem to be having a fun time doing security.
Mt. Lady: I'm still surprised you look so good *smirk* for your age.
Dana immediatly smiled back with a look that no one really knew the meaning, but (y/n) knew this face as the "dont trifle with me" look
Mom: And I am surprised you are still able to afford and exploit those for food. How is your infrastructure damage this time?
Mt Lady glared back intensely as if this was an act of war.
Mt Lady: So are you still the large chested muscle head lady who punches her problems awa-
Mt Lady was launched backward by Dana with a palmstrike, spilling her takoyaki everywhere.
Mt Lady looked up to see Dana having her right eye glow red while she was radiating a red aura.
Mom: Respect your superiors. Do not swim upstream little carp, you are not ready to become a dragon yet
Announcer: DANA KIRYU! Her quirk, Dragon style! She channels her willpower and allows that to make her stronger. Her hero name? THE DRAGON OF KYOTO!
Mom: Get back to work.
Mt Lady scurried off and rejoined her security group away from the woman who knocked her down in a single strike.
(y/n): Mom... Please don't a scene again.
Mom: I take pride in my appearance. I was top of my class in Kyoto, and she thinks she's tough stuff. I cant stand those heroes.
(y/n): I know. You had some bad sidekicks quit after one week who had her attitude. I need to get prepared, love you mom!
Mom: Love you too! And remember... *clenches her fist* You're a Kiryu! Even if you fall down the river, you will become a dragon!
(y/n) was filled with determination and ran to 1-A's green room. Getting ready for the festivals challenges.
In the stands there was one man who was standing in one of the back of the stands leaning against the wall. He adjusted his magenta shirt and swiped his hair to fix it.
Tsukasa: Lets hope he has gotten far in his training... I need him to carry the mantle...
