Mia's POV
Today is the 'Supper Party' that Professor Slughorn has invited me, Hermione and Harry too. I finished all my classes and then went to professor's office with Harry and Hermione. There was a circular table around which we sat. I sat between Hermione and Neville.
"So tell me, Cormac, do you see anything of your uncle Tiberius these days?" Professor asked Cormac. He said something about hunting. I was least interested in what he had to say. Professor asked Belby about his uncle which again I had no interest to listen to.
"What about you, Miss Granger!? What exactly does your family do the Muggle world?" professor asked. Hermione told that her parents were dentists. Most of them had no clue about who dentists are, but I knew. She explained to them about the profession. Then Ginny entered. She had cried, she and dean were fighting once again.
"Ah, Miss Weasley come in" professor said.
"Look at her eyes. They've been fighting again, her and Dean." Hermione whispered to Harry.
"Sorry, I am not usually late!" Ginny said. Harry stood up. Obviously he liked her. Hermione and I looked at each other and smiled.
"What?" Harry asked the both of us, as we were looking at him.
"Nothing!" we said as we continued to eat. Finally the dinner party was over, and we could go back to our dorms.
THE NEXT DAY
This is the quidditch match. Hermione, Harry and I were at the Great hall, while Ron entered in his quidditch uniform.
"So how was it then!?" Ron asked.
"How was what!?" I asked.
"The dinner party?" Ron asked.
"Pretty boring actually!" Hermione said.
"Though I think Harry enjoyed dessert!" I said with a smile. Harry gave me the 'What are you talking about look' .
"Slughorn's having a Christmas do you know! And we're meant to bring someone" Hermione said.
"I expect you'll bring McLaggen. He's in the Slug Club isn't he?" Ron asked.
"Actually I was going to ask you!" Hermione said.
"Good luck today Ron!" someone said. I saw it was Lavender. "I know you'll be brilliant!"
"I'm resigning, after today's match, McLaggen can have my spot!" Ron said.
"Shut up Ron!!" I said.
"Have it your way!" Harry said
"Sure" Ron said.
"Hello everyone!" Luna said.
"Oh hey Luna!" I said.
"You look dreadful Ron!" she said looking at him.
"Is that why you put something in his cup!?" Luna asked. "Is it a tonic!?"
I saw Harry keep something in his pocket. It was Liquid Luck.
"Harry!!" I said." Don't drink it Ron!!" I said.
"You could be expelled for that!" Hermione told Harry.
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Harry said.
"Come on Harry! We have a game to win!" Ron said.
Eventually the game begin and I have to Ron did do a great job!! We won the game! There was celebrations in the common room, but I wasn't in the mood. So I went to the Astronomy tower.
I was sitting in the Astronomy tower, lost in my thoughts. Tears rolled down my cheeks, thinking about the day mum died.
"I wasn't expecting you here!" someone said. It was Draco.
"Leave me alone Draco!" I said, wiping the tears.
"As you wish!" he said sitting next to me. "Wanna tell me what happened!?"
"Wanna tell me why you cursed Katie?" I asked.
"I don't know what you are talking about!" he said.
"Shut up! Don't lie! I know it was you! Harry suspecting it to be you!" I said, with tears in my eyes.
"What!?" I asked.
"Don't worry! I haven't told them about you! And I never will!" I said wiping the tears.
"You miss your mum don't you!?" he asked. I nodded as tears rolled down. "I'm sorry!" he said pulling me into a hug.
"You know, you're a really good brother!" I said.
"You think so!?" he asked, with a smile, but I knew he had only forced a smile.
"It's okay Draco! You never chose this! You had no choice!" I said.
"You a good person Ann! I just never could see through through!" he said in a comforting manner.
"You think so!?" I said with a smile.
"Shut up!" he said, with a real smile.
"I want to help you Draco!" I said. "Let me help you! We'll figure something out!"
"No Ann! It has to be me!" he said, looking at the view.
Time skip
Today is Slughorn's Chritmas party. I am going with Harry, as friends. We entered the party and saw many people.
"Drink!?" someone asked. It was Neville.
"Neville!!" harry and I said in amazement.
"I didn't get into the Slug Club! It's okay though! He's got Belby handing out towels in the loo!" Neville said.
"Oh well, I am fine mate!" Harry said.
"Mia?" Neville asked if I wanted a drink.
"No thank you Neville! I'm good!" I said. Neville left.
"Well Harry! Enjoy the night!" I said trying to walk away from him.
"Ann!" he called out to me. "What's wrong? You are always in a bad mood and you don't speak or spend time with us anymore!?" he asked.
"Nothing Harry!" I said.
"It's okay Ann! Tell me!" he said.
"It's just that I miss mum...and..." I trailed off.
"...And Fred??" He asked.
"What? No! I mean I do miss him! But these visions I have just juggle my mind." I said.
"You're still having those visions?" he asked.
"Umm yeah!" I said.
"You may want to speak about that Ann! Believe me I know!" he said.
"Sure Harry! Now enjoy the night!" I said.
After some time I saw Filch pulling Draco inside. What has he done now!?
"Take your hands off me, you filthy squib!!" Draco said.
"I just discovered this boy lurking in an upstairs corridor. He claims to have been invited to your party!" Filch said.
"Okay okay I was gatecrashing!" Draco said.
"I'll escort him out!" professor Snape told.
"Certainly professor!" Draco said as they walked out. I followed them out. I heard them talking.
"Maybe I did hex that Bell girl. Maybe I didn't! What's it to you!?" Draco asked Snape.
"I swore to protect you! I made the unbreakable vow!" Snape said. The Unbreakable Vow!? So it was Snape I see in my dreams who made the Vow.
"I don't need protection! I was chosen for this. Out of all others! Me! And I won't fail him!" Draco said.
"You're are afraid, Draco! you're attempt to conceal it, but it's obvious! Let me assist you!" Snape said.
"NO!! I was chosen! This is your moment!" Draco said.
I saw Draco was walking towards the Astronomy Tower. I followed him. I entered the tower and searched for Draco.
"You look nice today! But aren't you missing the party!?" he Draco.
"Why do you don't want any help!?" I asked him.
"I don't want to talk about it!" he said turning away from me.
"Snape wants to help you!! Why can't you accept atleast his help!?" I asked.
"You heard!?" he asked.
"The whole thing!" I said. "You don't have to do this Draco! you are doing this out of fear! You don't have such a bad heart Draco!"
"HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ME!?" he yelled at me.
"Draco! You are afraid! And you have all rights to be! You are afraid for yourself, you are afraid for your family..." I was saying when we heard someone coming up. Both of us took out our wands. It was Pansy! I knew she was gonna freak seeing me with Draco.
"What is she doing here!? Draco? how did you even let her near you!" she asked. I tried to walk away.
"You!! I knew there was something wrong with you! Why do you have a sudden interest in him!?" she asked me.
"SHUT UP PANSY!!" Draco and I yelled at her. I walked out the tower.
I walked back to our dorm and started packing. We were going back home tomorrow!
