The same night :
Jen : Brad... the dishes.
As the two of them stumble through the door of the bedroom, lips locked, Jen realizes the kitchen's a mess.
Brad : We'll hire a maid.
Jen : No...
She laughs as he rips off his shirt and throws her down on the bed.
Brad : I'll wake up early and get them tomorrow.
Jen : Really?
Brad : Really.
He gets on top of her, pulling up her dress as they've got no time to take it off entirely.
Without breaking the kiss, Jen's hands make their way down to his waistband, unbuckling his belt as Brad has already removed her thong.
Brad : You look so hot in this.
Jen : Don't rip it though, it's got sentimental value to me.
Laughing, he pulls his pants off and throws them away before leaning in again, teasing her mouth with his.
Already panting from all the anticipation, Jen lifts his head up to look into his eyes, before biting her lip as she wants him to begin.
Jen : Brad, come on.
Brad : Fine, fine.
As he enters her, Jen lets her nails dig into his back before letting out a soft moan.
Brad grabs her legs, lifting them on top of his shoulders as he thrusts deeper.

He smirks at her before burying his head in her neck, kissing her skin tenderly, as he goes faster.
An hour later :
Brad : Hey Jen! When are we planning on telling people?
While drying her hair in the bathroom, Jen walks back into the bedroom after having taken a quick shower.
Jen : I don't know... like our friends? Or the media?
Brad : Both.
Jen : Well... Courteney will probably call us soon, as she knew about us both.
Brad : What?
Jen : Yeah, I knew you were proposing.
He widens his eyes, as she wraps the towel around her body.
Brad : For how long?
Jen : A week maybe.
Brad : What...
Jen : Courteney had to tell me... when...
Brad : Oh, that day...
Jen : Yeah.
Brad : That's why you got over it so fast.
He laughs as she furrows her brow.
Jen : I don't... I get over things pretty fast.
Brad : Sure you do.
Jen : Well... I got over what you did to me pretty fast didn't I?
He goes silent, as she just stares at him.
Brad : Anyways... the media. When are we going to share the news?
Jen : Do we have to?
Brad : Well... we want them to find out from us before the tabloids don't we?
Jen : I guess.
Jen sighs while thinking about all the reactions they'd have to face.
Not only from the outside word, but also their friends and... Angelina and Justin.
Jen : You have to tell Angelina though. You have to do that first.
Brad : I know, I'm gonna call her tomorrow and...
Jen : Call?
Brad : Yeah... Jen you know we're not getting along that well right now, with the custody battle and all.
Jen : I do know that, but don't you think it'd be better to do it face to face?
Brad : In a perfect world yes, but I don't even think she'd want to meet me right now after that whole lawyer hysteria.
Jen : Okay...
Brad : Hey...
He reaches for her hand, pulling her in closer as she continues.
Brad : We have her blessing. It'll be fine.
Jen : Alright.
As she's leaning in, about to give him a quick kiss, her phone starts ringing.
And she's got an idea of who it is.
Courteney : Hey!
Jen : I'm putting you on speaker.
Jen sits down on the bed next to Brad, with the phone in her hand.
Courteney : So... how'd it go?
Jen : Well... we decided to not go through with it.
Courteney : What?!
Brad : Yeah, we figured that was the right thing to...
Before Brad's able to finish his sentence, Jen bursts out laughing as she can picture Court's face on the other line.
Jen : Sorry, I just couldn't.
Courteney : So you're engaged?!
Brad : We're engaged, Court.
They laugh as her voice gets all high pitched.
Brad : Thanks for your help by the way.
Courteney : Oh, well I didn't do much since Jen ruined it all by forcing me to tell her.
Jen : Hey!
The next day :
Brad : Alright, here I go.
Jen : Wait... did you do the dishes? You can do them after I just...
Brad : Did the dishes honey. It's all nice and clean.
With a smile on her face, Jen gives him a kiss before he heads out on the patio to call his ex wife.
Brad : Answer, answer.... oh hello.
Angelina : Hi Brad.
Not having thought about how to say this in a way creating as little damage as possible, he takes a few seconds before talking again.
Angelina : Brad? What is it?
Brad : I... I'm just calling because I need to tell you something.
Angelina : Alright.
Brad : I know everything isn't great between us right now... because of... well you already know why but...
Angelina : You'll get the kids on Christmas Day Brad... don't worry.
Brad : Oh... no, that's not why I'm calling, but great. Thank you for that.
He takes a deep breath as Jen is standing leaned against the doorway, listening to the conversation.
Angelina : Then what?
Brad : Jen and I... we've gotten engaged.
Angelina : Really?
He can hear Angelina sighing, as she waits for him to say something.
Brad : I know this may not be best timing, but...
Angelina : How's the baby?
Brad : I... uhm good, so far.
Angelina : Great.
Brad : I just wanted you to hear it from me before anyone else...
Angelina : I'm very happy for you.
Brad : Angie...
Angelina : I have to go... the kids are waiting for me, but tell Jen I said hi...
Brad : Alright.
Angelina : Merry Christmas, bye.
Brad : Merry Christmas...
Turning around to face Jen as she hangs up, he shrugs his shoulders.
Jen : How'd it go?
Brad : I... I really don't know.
Jen : What?
Brad : She told me to tell you she said hi.
Jen : She did?
Brad : Yeah... and that I get the kids on Christmas Day.
Jen : Oh...
Brad : She didn't seem to want to talk much about it.
He walks inside, with Jen following him laying a hand on his back.
Brad : It's just the way she is though... passive aggressive in a way.
Later that day :
Jen : Alright, take my hand.
Brad : Like this?
Jen reaches for his hand, as they're about to take a photo for the announcement on Instagram.
Jen : Good thing I got a manicure last week huh?
Brad : I didn't.
She laughs, while snapping a few pictures of their hands intertwined.
Jen : Alright.
Brad : You're gonna post it now?
Jen : Why wait?
Brad : Have you even told all the girls?
Earlier that morning :
Jen : We're engaged.
Amanda : Jen! He said yes?
Jen : Well, we both did.
Amanda : What?
Jen : Guess what?
Andrea : What?
Jen : Brad and I are engaged.
Andrea : Oh my god, I totally forgot. How'd it go?
Kristin : Jen, I'm kind of in the middle of...
Jen : Brad and I are engaged.
Kristin : What?! Stella, can you take over here!

Chris : How's the oil's been working out?
Jen : Chris... I didn't call you to talk about my hair.

Back to current time :
Jen : Of course I've talked to the girls.
Brad : Alright.
Jen : And Chris.
Jen laughs, as she remembers his reaction when he saw the ring.
Brad : Then I guess we're ready.
Jen : Yeah. This is the right thing to do right?
Brad : I mean, you'd rather tell everyone yourself than have the paparazzi find out about it first right?
Jen : Yeah.
Brad : Then I think that's our answer.
Jen takes a deep breath as she starts working on a caption.
"I said yes. And so did he! What are the chances of proposing at the same time..."
Brad laughs, while reading it.
Jen : Okay?
Brad : It's great.
Reaching for his hand, she presses share while holding it tightly.
Jen : That's it... it's out there for everyone to see.
Jen throws her phone down on the couch, before walking towards the kitchen.
Jen : By the way, if anyone from the press makes their way to the phone, you're answering.
Brad : Fine.
Jen : And the girls are coming over tomorrow.
Brad : Of course they are.
The next day :
Amanda : I can't stop staring at it, I really can't.
Brad : How come no one wants to stare at my ring?
Brad pouts, while they all laugh.
Jen : Well, apparently you did a better job than me at picking out a ring.
Andrea : So when's the wedding?
Andrea takes a sip of wine, before smiling at Jen.
Brad : You guys are in a bigger rush than we are... we're so happily engaged.
Courteney : We're just really excited.
Jen : I think we're gonna stay engaged for a while...
Kristin : Right. I mean you're about to start IVF soon, that's gonna take up a lot of your time.
As they haven't told anyone about the positive test yet, Jen looks at Brad smiling.
Jen : Right.
A little later :
Courteney : It's not like you can have a million dollar wedding again. Or you could... but then I feel like you'd either have to go with a way smaller and intimate one or an even bigger one.
Amanda : So true.
Jen : Really?
Brad : Don't get in her head now ladies, I'm not gonna spend $10 million on a wedding.
Jen : Am I not worth that?
He rolls his eyes at her as she gets up to grab herself another bottle of water from the kitchen.
Jen : Does anyone else want...
Before she's able to finish her sentence, her phone starts ringing.
Jen looks down on the screen, not recognizing the number.
Jen : Hello, this is Jennifer.
Dr. Emmett : Hello Ms. Aniston, this is Doctor Emmett. We're calling from Los Angeles Community Hospital.
Jen : Yes.
Noticing Jen's tone on the phone, Brad turns to see what's going on.
Dr. Emmett : Maria has been admitted with heavy bleeding coming from what we believe is her uterus.
Jen : What?
Dr. Emmett : The chances of a miscarriage is big, but it's too soon to tell.
Turning to meet Brad's stare, Jen whispers his name while waving her hands, wanting him to come to her.
Jen : Brad.
Brad : What?
Andrea : Is everything alright?
Jen doesn't answer, she just stares at Brad with teary eyes before handing him the phone.
Jen : It's Maria... and the baby.
