"Morning," Rylan said after I had opened my eyes as she sits in the corner of the hotel room like she always does with a coffee on the table. Her left-hand holds onto the phone that she always looks at.

"Morning," I responded with a yawn as I tried to shield my eyes from the brightness from the outside.

"What time is it?" I asked, and I sat up in bed and noticed that I wasn't alone. Oh, crap, I forgot that I found this one down at the bar of the hotel.

"It's 10:30," She answered, and I tried to pull the sheets slightly away from the woman next to me to see if I remember how she looked like. She is still asleep, with her brown hair all over the pillow. The memory of every drink, every boring conversation, came back to mind. Rylan was also there in the back as her eyes never left me. Those cold blue could break anything that came into her view.

"I have scheduled a taxi to be here at exactly 12:00 to take us to the shop. The party starts at 17:00, and your father wanted me to remind you of who to behave," She said, which made the headache turn stronger as my nerves raised.

"I don't care, Rylan," I replied, rubbing my forehead.

"There is a glass of water and a painkiller on your bedside," She said, and I furrowed my brows as I turned to the side to see them lying there. I took it with no hesitation.

"You had fun?" Rylan asked as I downed the painkiller; I placed the glass back and looked at the brown-haired lying next to me.

"I'm not sure," I said, and she watched me judgmentally.

" I don't remember that I drank too much," I sighed as I tried to find my clothes that I must have left somewhere around the floor. With a huff, I stumbled out of bed and found them in front of the bed. But decided on leaving them as I needed a shower before we head out. I opened the door to the bathroom but turned to face Rylan. Her black suit looks incredible on her, but it's screaming too much of a bodyguard.

"Are you able to wear something that makes you look less of a security guard tonight?" I asked, and she stared straight forward with a tight jaw.

"I'm not asking you for much, just something slightly less," I explained, and she turned to me, her blue eyes hard.

"We'll figure it out later," I sighed as I entered the bathroom to close the door behind me.

I left the stranger in my bed as she was still asleep. Rylan meant I should have woken her up, but I didn't feel like talking to her. I left her a note, and I hope that she is gone by the time I come back. Rylan and I went down for breakfast, which was, of course, quiet, but a nice type of silence. The one I needed to get my mind back on track with a coffee to drown away the hangover. It didn't work, though, but we left to shop for some new clothes as time went by.

I sighed, trying on the fifth dress, which looks just as awful as the black one from before. This one is red, but I can't seem to like how it doesn't fit me. I stepped out of the changing room for feels like the hundredth time. Rylan's eyes went up and down as she looked at me; clearly, she doesn't like it either.

"I can't find anything," I groaned in frustration, and she pressed her lips together and took a step closer to me. Again, she looked all over me, but then her eyes met mine with curiosity.

"You have chosen colors that don't suit you," She said, and my eyes widened with that comment.

"Excuse me?" I placed my hands on my hips as I glared at her.

"Well, if you know that much, then why don't you find me one," I complained as I breathed through my nose. She narrowed her eyes slightly and tilted her head, staring endlessly into my eyes, which made me turn away. Then she walked off somewhere, and I sat down on a bench, resting my elbow on my leg to lean my head in my palm as I wait.

I blew out a breath as Rylan came back with a dark, long blue dress in her arms. When she stood in front of me, I took it slowly.

"Where did you find it?" I asked, holding it up, seeing a nice, thin crystal chain in the middle.

"I just found it," She shrugged, and I smiled lightly as I brought it into the changing room to put it on. Strangely enough, the slim straps are not supposed to be on the shoulder but around the arms. The dress fits around my waist, as does the chain, which gives it the perfect silver color that makes it not look too simple. I can't believe Rylan picked this one out; it's stunningly beautiful. Suits my dark brown hair along with my eyes. Who would have thought someone like her would know.

I shook it off as I got out of the changing room and saw Rylan staring to the side, but when she turned to me, that hard look in her eyes faded slowly. Her lips parted as her soft eyes looked me all over with her hands folded in front of her. It kind of seems like someone had knocked the air out of her. It's the first time I have ever seen her have something else but that stern look on her face. I don't think I have seen anyone look at me like that before, and I can feel my heart smile by it.

"What do you think?" I asked, looking down at myself for a moment.

"You look," She stopped, and it was almost as if she woke herself up from the trance she was in.

"You look good," Rylan said, staring down at the floor, bothered. I have a feeling there was something else she wanted to say, but she hid it away.

"Thank you," I responded anyway.

"Now, let's find you something," I said, which took her attention.

"No," She shook her head with that annoyed look back on her face.

"Yes," I said, walking past her on my hunt to find something that could make her look more of a guest than my bodyguard tonight. I need a suit since I highly doubt that she would ever wear a dress. Not just because she is my security guard, but it's who she is as a person.

Stopping in front of a few suites, I explore for the right color, which I'm a bit unsure of. She always wears black, which is a nice color for her, but I want something different this time. I halted as I saw a blue one, not as dark as my dress, though. But still, something I think would be acceptable for Rylan.

When I found a dark purple shirt, I went back to her, and she is waiting patiently for me with her hands hidden on her back.

"Try these please," I held them out for her to take, but she only looked at them with a frown.

"Please," I tried to give her an innocent smile.

"Purple?" She said, raising her eyebrow.

"I like this purple, so shut up," I argued, moving the clothes back to her again. She let out a deep breath but took the clothes anyway and went into the changing room. I sat down on the bench, hoping that the colors will fit her. She has such blue eyes that should match the suit and the dark purple, well, mostly since I love that color, yet I hope it will bring something out of her.

The moment she came out of the door, I stood up as she looked down at herself to close the button on the blazer. She then straightened up and hid her hands behind her back as she stared at me in silence. Rylan seems unsure, but I don't think I have ever seen a woman look as beautiful as her in a suit like that.

I stepped closer to her, seeing that the blue color brighten her eyes and the purple suits her blond hair, placed up in a ponytail, which it always is, and it brings out her face: those high cheekbones and that strong jawline. I wish I had that kind of face, eyes, and hair to be able to pull off a suit the way she does. It kind of makes me jealous, to be honest, of how handsome and beautiful she looks.

"It's perfect," I smiled.
