Alessandro's POV:
We all entered the third floor and looked around for Vladimir and saw no one except some guards who my brothers took care off.
We searched all the rooms but no one was there.
We all then entered the main hall.
"He's not in any of the rooms", I say
"Yeah we searched every single one", Xander said
"Where is he then?", wondered Leo
"Do you think he ran away?", asked Elijah
"No our men outside would have informed us", Dad said
"We have kept guards outside to kill of the Russians who try to escape", Antonio said
"What about Val and Max?", Grandpa asked
"Ben's gone to search for them", I assure them
They nod.
"Then Vladimir's got to be here somewhere", Lucas said
"Yup, I'm right here", we heard someone and we turned to see Vladimir and Adrian standing there with Max crying in front of them.
I heard my brothers gasp.
My heartbeat increased seeing Max held at gunpoint.
"Grandpa", cried Max and tried coming to us but Vladimir pulled him back.
"Stay boy", growled Adrian.
"No, I want big bros, Uncle V and Grandpa", Max shouted crying real bad and thrashing.
My heart broke at his sight.
Vladimir hit him on his head with enough force to stop him.
"You're testing my patience with you boy. Shut up now!", shouted Vladimir
Max stopped thrashing but continued crying holding his head
"You bastard", shouted Dad furiously
"How dare you raise your hand on my brother", shouted Antonio
"You will pay for that Vladimir", I snarl
"Let him go Vladimir. Your game's over", growled Grandpa
"I told you to give me your mafias in return of your kids and you decided to attack me. You don't care about your kids or what?", he smirked
"You will never get our Mafias and you will give us back our siblings now", Leo said angrily
"Well Max is as good as dead if you don't do as I say and well Valentina must be having fun locked up", he laughed
"Your men are dead Vladimir! What makes you think you can leave this place and get our mafias?", Dad said looking at him as if he's dumb.
Before he could reply I saw Max bite Vladimir's arm hard and tried to run but Vladimir got hold of him again but in the mean time Grandpa killed Adrian.
"No let me go", shouted Max crying
"This little brat has crossed his limits now he bit me and got Adrian killed! He is going to die", Vladimir said pointing his gun at Max's head.
"No no stop please", shouted Mark
"Listen he's a kid. He's just five years old please don't hurt him", Elijah tried reasoning.
Vladimir scoffed.
"We'll give you what you want okay just leave him", I shout
Vladimir laughs with his gun still on Max's head
I suddenly saw some movement behind Vladimir.

Valentina's POV:
I was frozen at the scene.
It looked like Vladimir was going to kill Max. Adrian was lying dead nearby.
I saw my father and brothers trying to talk him out of it but Vladimir won't listen. I knew I had to somehow safe Max.
I searched for my gun and realised I dropped it downstairs.
Fuck my life seriously!!!
I then saw a vase nearby on a stand and thought this is my best chance and picked it up.
I turn and slowly come out of my hiding place and walk slowly towards Vladimir whose back is towards me.
I made eye contact with Ales and others and I put my finger on my mouth telling them to keep quiet and not react.
They tried their best to keep their looks normal.
I keep walking behind Vladimir with the vase in my hand.
I almost reached him when he spoke laughing.
"This kid is something I see. Even Valentina wouldn't let anything happen to him when he was in the cells with her. Unfortunately she's not here to save him", he laughed
I was enraged.
I raise my hand and with full force hit his head with the vase.
He held his head with his head and fell down blood coming out immediately.
"I will protect him till my last breath", I say looking at him.
He looked shocked seeing me.
"Tina", Max shouted and hugged me
I immediately picked him up and hugged him tight not wanting to keep him away.
"I was so scared sissy", he cried
"Me too bud. Me too", I cry along with him
"Valentina", I heard my family shout and they ran towards us.
They immediately hugged me and Max.
I saw Grandpa asking one of our men to take Vladimir away
When they let go I gave Max to Antonio who was on the verge of crying.
I hugged Xander tight first.
"Oh my god Val. Finally we found you. I was so scared", he whispered
"Me too Xander", I cry holding him
"Okay our turn now", I heard Mark
He let go and i hugged Mark, Lucas and Damon together sharing almost the same conversation with each of them.
They let me go and I see Dad
He looked at me with relief and I ran and hugged him tightly.
"Val oh god are you okay?", Dad hugged me tightly kissing my head multiple times.
"I-I was so s-scared Dad", I cry
"I know baby but you're fine now don't worry" he said softly
"Okay give her to me now", I heard Grandpa
Dad released me and I hugged Grandpa tightly.
"I'm so glad you're okay princess", he smiled hugging me.
I see Ales from the corner of my eye and Grandpa released me from the hug.
I stood there staring at him and he stood there with tears in his eyes.
"Ales", I whisper fresh tears coming out.
He opened his arms and I ran into them and he lifted me up.
We didn't say anything to each other and I just kept crying and crying in his chest. All the pain and the scared feeling everything finally came out and I don't know how long I held him and cried but he didn't seem to mind. He just held me tight.
After sometime I pull away from him and he puts me down and wiped all my tears and I give out shuddering breaths
I saw his eyes also let out some tears and I wiped them immediately and smiled at him. He smiled back
"Woah I didn't know my big brother could cry. Someone pinch me", I snicker mimicking Xavier when he asks Matteo to pinch him
Everyone laughs at that including Ales.
I'm suddenly hugged from behind. I turn and see Elijah. Immediately I hug him back and he rubs my back.
"Elijah", I whisper
"You're okay Val its over", Elijah whispered back slowly
I next hug Leo and Antonio together
"Oh we missed you so much bambina. We were terrified seeing the video", they said
"I missed you guys too and don't worry I'm fine", I smile at them
"Okay let's go. I'm pretty sure everyone at home is dying to meet these two", Dad smiled
Max came to me and I picked him up.
"Finally we'll go home sissy", he smiled brightly
"Yeah bud finally", I smile excited
We leave outside but before getting into the car Ales realised something.
"Wait... where's Ben? He went looking for you both in the basement", said Ales curiously
"Yeah he rescued me and I sent him away with someone", I smirk
The all look at me confused.
"What do you mean?", Ales asked confused
"Oh don't worry you'll see them at home. Give me your phone", I said waving me hands
He takes out his phone and gives it to me still in total confusion.
I first whisper in Max's ear about not telling everyone about Uncle and Angelo. I told him it's our secret and it's everyone's surprise.
He nodded at me excitedly and agreed to not tell them now.
Everyone looks at us confused of what's going on.
I call Ben. He picked up in a second.
Me:
Hey Ben
Ben:
Oh my god Val is everything okay?
Me:
Yup all clear. We captured Vladimir and everyone's safe
Ben:
Oh thank god
Me:
Okay listen to me. We all are going home and you come with them to our place directly okay? And don't tell anyone who's with you. It's a surprise.
Ben laughs:
Yes Val copy that.
I laugh and cut the phone.
"What's going on?", Xander asked
"Oh there's a surprise for you guys which Ben is bringing home so let's go", I smirk
Max giggles at me.
Everyone looks at us both confused but they shrug and get in the car and we leave for home.
All the while we were on the road I layed my head on Ales sitting next to me. He played with my hair.
We soon reach home and get out of the car. Max still in my arms.
I look at my house and smile. God I missed this place..
"Come inside fast, they're waiting", Elijah said excitedly and I smile
We get in the house and go to the living room and see Uncles, Aunts Grandma and Matteo, Diego, Daniel, Enzo, Marcus, Xavier and Emilio pacing worriedly.
Max's face lit with absolute happiness.
"Mommy!", Max shouted excitedly at Aunt Elisa
They all immediately turn and see us..more like me and Max and their faces held relief, happiness, tears and love.
Aunt Elisa immediately ran and hugged us both tightly and broke down.
"My babies", she cried
"Mommy don't cry please", Max smiled at her
"These are happy tears baby", she said smiling
She chuckled and wiped her face and I gave her a smile. She kissed us both.
Uncle Francesco came next to us and held is both tightly. He kissed our heads and then I gave him Max.
"Daddy", Max giggles.
Me and Uncle chuckled
"My son", he whispered and hugged him. Aunt Elisa joined the hug.
I turn towards my brothers. They were staring at me with different emotions.
"What? No hugs? Don't tell me I have to demand for hugs now!", I exclaim frowning.
They snap out of their trance and come running and hugged me at once.
They all kiss me and release me
"You know I scared I was", Deigo almost cried
"Don't ever leave me again bambina", Marcus cried
I smile softly at both of them.
"My little baby", Enzo shouted and hugged me
"Ahh I missed your hugs", I chuckled
"Me too", Enzo cried
I hug Emilio next
"Finally my trouble maker is home", he smirked
"Yup", I laugh and hug him
I see Matteo next standing with tears in his eyes.
"You know I missed your annoying jokes so much", I smile at him.
He laughed and hugged me. We held each other for a while and then Xavier and Daniel pull me.
"You scared us bambina", they shout
"Ahh I actually missed your annoying pranks you know", I smirk
They laugh and puffed their chests.
They left me and all go meet Max, hugging and showering him with love.
Grandma comes to me.
"I'm sorry I couldn't save you both", her eyes left tears down her face
"No Grandma please don't cry. You couldn't do anything that time okay? Don't blame yourself please. We're fine now and home safe", I assure her and hug her.
She nodded at me smiling and then went to Max.
I see Aunt Isabella and Uncle Alfonso.
I go and hug them tight.
"We're so glad you're back tesoro", they smile at me.
After I meet everyone I go to Ales and stand next to him on my one side and Dad on my other. They both put a hand on my shoulder and kiss my head.
"Well now get ready for a huge surprise!" I say excitedly
Everyone looks at me questioningly
"Yes yes yes", Max jumps excitedly and gives me a high five.
"What is it?", Grandma asked curiously
"God knows..she wouldn't tell us", Xander groaned
"Yeah we asked her that all the way back here", Lucas pouted and folded his hands on his chest.
"Wait the surprise is on its way", I smile
I walk towards the main door. Everyone was following me but I stopped them.
"No wait stop. Stay here. I'll bring the surprise here. Max can come with me coz he knows what it is", I smile
Max comes running to me and we go outside to the main door.
We saw a car coming in and Ben getting out with Uncle Luciano and Angelo.
"Max", Ben cried in happiness when he saw Max.
"Benny!", Max jumped in joy and hugged Ben.
"I'm so glad he's okay", Angelo smiled
"It's so nostalgic to come here after 10 yrs", Uncle said reminiscing and smiling brightly at the house
"Yeah I remember playing outside when I was 11 yrs old", Angelo said softly
"Let's go. I can't wait to meet everyone", Uncle Luciano said excitedly
"Okay everyone is inside waiting for the surprise", I smile happily
"You told them you got a surprise?", Angelo smirked
"Oh yes", I laugh
"This will be so much fun", Ben smiled
Max giggles.
Indeed.
