FINITE INCANTATEM

ITS THE NIGHT BEFORE THE second task and i'm in the Hufflepuff common room.
A fellow Hufflepuff comes in and looks around quickly, their eyes land on me and they run up to me
"Professor Mcgonagall needs you in her office!" She squeaks quickly, i nod and make my way towards her office
Making my way there i run into Ron and Hermione who are also making their way there so we make small talk
Walking in the room we see a little girl who looks a bit like Fluer Delacore
"Please sit" I nod at Her and make my way in the seat but Hermione is skeptical
Mcgonagall hands us some tea and i drink line quickly while The others are defiant
"Please dearies drink" Everyone drinks their tea and soon after everything goes black
Waking up under the water was not ideal, glancing around i see harry and he's looking at me
He makes his way towards me but the
mer people stop him and say 'only take your hostage' he glances at me and mutters a sorry and goes towards Ron
I start choking on the water and i finally see Cedric pull into view, he makes eye contact with me and swims as fast as i've seen him swim before
He grabs a knife from his shoe and starts cutting the rope
My vision starts getting blurry and he starts cutting faster
Right before i fell unconscious i hear him mutter a string of curses and then it goes black (again)
My eyes go open and i retch out the water stuck in my throat
I hear a collective gasps and Cedric trying to push through
Draco kneels beside me pulling my blanket closer to me
"Darling are you okay!?" He looks around me and grabs my chin
I nod and shiver slightly once the wind blows towards me
He looks around getting up and snatching harry's blanket wrapping it around me
"Malfoy!" Harry bellows but he still pays attention to me
He picks me up bridal style and carries me away towards the Hufflepuff common room
He throws me on my bed and runs a hand through his hair
"What the fuck Dove!" He looks at me and his eyes are red
I stand up and go infront of him "What did i do Draco!"
He chuckles making his nose bop against mine "Seriously? you're Diggory's most important thing?" I laugh in his face which makes him go red
"What's funny! nothing" He grips my shoulders
"First" I rip myself out of his grip "You are not going to touch me like that" He steps back and nods his head to go on "And also, i didn't have a choice!"
He laughs, like full on evil laughs
"Of course Dove! you're always the victim, every single time i end up being 'crazy' but have you ever thought that maybe your in the wrong?"
I go towards the door and open it "Out"
He raises an eyebrow "What?" I stare at him showing no emotion "Out, now Malfoy"
His eyes darken "I see" He roughly bumps into me making his way out my dorm
I slam the door as soon as he leaves, sliding down the door eyes filling slowly with tears
"Maybe i'm a fool....why do i love him" I burst into tears
After a few minutes of me crying a knock comes from my door, i wipe my tears and stand up slowly
"Who is it?" I ask my voice breaking slightly
"Blaise, let me in?" He asks and i go to the mirror and wipe excess tears
I make my way towards the door and breath unlocking it letting Blaise in
He takes in my appearance and hugs me, i hug back and burst into tears again
He pays my back and i slide down to the floor still in his arms "Draco-" He shushes me and nods his head
"i know...." I grip his shirt and cry harder
I let go of his shirt and look at him, my eyes are puffy and red and he wipes my eyes again
"Why does he always do this? i mean i'm always loyal and...i never do anything but.." He nods and sighs looking down
"That's just how Draco is...once he has something he tries to prove that he isn't worthy and usually...he drives them away trying"
I look at him and sigh raking my hand through my hair, i chuckle a little looking up at the ceiling
"I still love him....every time i come back" I look back at Blaise wiping another tear "He doesn't show the effort i do.."
"I know..." He nods multiple times and stands up dusting his outfit off, this makes me chuckle but he holds an arm out for me which i take
"Let's go eat" He nods outside and i follow him slowly
Once we make it to the great hall i follow him towards the Slytherin Table and we sit down next to Daphne, Theo and Pansy
"Why's the mudblood crying?" Pansy asks with a scowl
"Draco" Blaise simply asks making us both a plate
She nods and looks at me "Did he finally tell you that you're worth nothing?" She chuckles and i stay emotionless
"Did you not hear me?" She asks leaning towards me and snapping her fingers in my face
"Shut the fuck up Pansy" Daphne says looking at me wearily
I chuckle lowly "I'm not a ticking time bomb daphne" She looks away talking to Theo
I don't know what to do...
I cant win
This game is in a cycle
And Draco is cheating...
And i'm losing..
AS THE WEEKS GO ON YOU AND draco made up, since then you've been in 5 fights....all started by draco
The third task is 2 weeks away and you've been spending time with Cedric, Draco joined in sometimes but mostly you wanted to spend the time with Cedric
"So what are we doing today" Draco asks sitting next to me, i kiss him quickly on the lips smiling "I'm going to go over Cedric's plan for the third task"
He groans "Your always with diggory" He pushes his tray away going to talk to Pansy
I scoff grabbing his shoulder "Draco-" He pushes my hand off and looks at me "I'm talking to pansy" He rolls his eyes looking back at her
"Yea Mudblood" She chuckles while playing with his hair, i roll my eyes and stand up
"I'm done" I go to walk away but Theo grabs my arm
"No i wanna tell you something" He looks at Draco "You also" Draco raises his eyebrow but follows us out
"Draco, i've noticed you treat Dove oh i don't know" He looks around fakely "Horribly"
Draco laughs "So? she won't do anything about it" He grabs my arm roughly and leads me away
"Oh and Theo?" Draco turns around increasing his pressure on my arm
"Stay away from Dove, your a bad influence" He smirks as Theo scoffs
"Maybe treat her better Draco...you don't know half the stuff i do" He looks at me shaking his head
He walks back in the great hall and draco lets go and walks off
"Seriously?" I put my arms up "what dove" he stops not bothering to turn back around
"Why can't we have a normal day" He looks over his shoulder "I'm not normal Dove, you should know this" He walks off leaving me furious
"It's crazy how the year is almost over Ced" I look at him grinning
"I know Dovie" He looks at me and sighs "Where are you staying this summer" I chuckle
"Blaise is letting me stay at his" He nods and grins as we go into a conversation about quidditch
"Dove, let's go" Draco roughly grabs my arm out of nowhere pulling me in the direction opposite Cedric
I pull out his grip "I'm talking to Cedric?" He looks at me "And i need you, let's go" age reaches for me but i step back
"I don't want to do this right here Dove" He runs a hand through his hair
"I'm tired of fighting Draco.." He looks at me his eyes going dark
"And we are doing this" He turns around leaving quickly "I'm done Dove, talk to me when you can stop being a bitch"
Cedric grabs my arm and we go outside "You gotta do something about him Dovie..." He looks at me his eyes showing concern
"I know...i will" I look up at him smiling
I walk in the Slytherin common room looking for Draco
"Hey Draco-" I freeze at the sight in front of me, my eyes prickling with tears
Pansy is on Draco's lap....and their snogging
"What the fuck!" I go over to them and pull Pansy's hair yanking her off his lap
She lets out a shriek "You bitch!" She goes to jump on my but Draco pulls her on top of his lap again
"It's okay baby, she was just leaving" He looks at me as if expecting me to leave
Except...he did want me to leave
And this 'dream'
Is reality
And Draco cheated on me.....Again.
"Seriously Draco?" I ask crossing my arms
"Yes Rosier, go away" I scoff and lick my lips
"Why did i ever love you" His eyes soften
"Wait- no Dove..." He starts to get up but i turn on my heel ignoring Draco's yelling of protests
My vision is blurry from the tears as i sprint the halls trying to find Blaise or Cedric or Anyone
But it's after hours, so i don't find anyone
I lean on a wall slowly sliding down
A wracked son escapes my mouth followed by more sobs
He actually cheated....
And with Pansy, of all the people
This cycle won't stop....i don't know how to stop it
Because i can't
Draco is the Creator....
And i'm playing his game
Yet, i don't want to stop the game. I just want to find a way to play fair
But draco is making it impossible
I get up lazily
I make my way to the stairs leading to the Hufflepuff Common room
I must've missed a step since the last thing i see before everything goes black is the stairs...And a shadow
