Estelle opened her eyes to be greeted with water, which she thought she must be in the ocean, or an enormous lake. She wasn't panicking - she felt calm; at peace. She expected to feel like she was drowning - it wouldn't be the first time - but she didn't feel like that, she felt free; it was exhilarating. There wasn't a fish in sight, which was odd; she would have to call Mortimer when she breaks through the surface.

Pushing herself to the surface, she looked around; she didn't know where she was. She appeared to be beside a forest, with masses of beautiful and exotic looking plants and flowers. Walking out of the ocean, she looked down at what she was wearing and laughed — classic Mortimer wanting to be reborn in style. On her was a floor-length green dress.

Heading into the forest she made sure to remember everything she saw. It had to have been a magical forest, it was too beautiful and exotic to be muggle; plus if muggles knew about it, it would have been burnt to the crisp by now and ruined. She could feel pure magic flowing in the air.

Opening her mind she called Mortimer, they needed to have a talk. Not even three minutes later stood the man, with his perfect hair. He looked at her, trying not to laugh, she was so small and cute, and she hated being small and called cute. Coughing to cover a laugh, he said, "You called, Mistress,"

Estelle looked at him as if she were seeing his soul, which scared him, as he didn't have one, she knew he was trying not to laugh at her, "Yes, I did, obviously, or you wouldn't be here," she snapped, obviously not in a good mood, "Why did you think it a good idea to make me wake-up in the fucking ocean, where I might add, do not know is where  located?"

Death, still slightly scared, replied, "Well- I- I- it just sort of happened?" he ended in more of a questioning tone, "This forest is magical, but I'm sure you already knew that. But aren't you happy you didn't have to wake up in a cupboard in Privet Drive?" he ended awkwardly cheering.

Estelle glared at him before softening, "I can feel the magic, it feels so alive, like home. And thank you, for not making me wake up there. Are you sure Dumbledore won't notice anything though?"

"I am sure, he's too stupid to think you'd ever run away or do anything to lead to leaving." sneered Mortimer, clutching his fists. He loved Estelle, she's his companion, and to think she was treated so bad hurts him too. He remembers when she first lived this life, and he'd have to watch her receive her punishments. He hated and still hates himself because he couldn't help her. Mistress or not, no one deserves that, especially someone as loving and kind as Estelle.

Estelle placed her hands on top of Mortimer's, "Calm down, Morty. I'm okay now. And it's all thanks to you. You have done so much for me, don't beat yourself up about it. Let's walk. Remember Morty, I love you."

Gripping her tightly, he walked with her, calming down almost immediately, "Thank you, Essie. I love you too,"

Smiling up at him, her eyes scouted the scene, and she gasped. Death, confused, followed her eye line and chuckled at her reaction; it was a unicorn. He should have known, Estelle always had a love for them.

It was beautiful, the unicorn, so pure. It was glowing a bright white, she couldn't tear her eyes away, scared it would disappear. She may have been alive for almost eight centuries, but that doesn't mean she doesn't find magic any less beautiful; especially pure magic, it's so unbelievably rare. She wants to bring that back, open everyone's eyes for them to get past dark and light magic, it's so stupid; magic is magic.

Softly letting go of Mortimer's hand, she slowly walked over to the unicorn. The unicorn saw her and bowed. Estelle, confused, looked at Mortimer, "Why is it bowing to me?" she whispered. The response she got was Mortimer smirking and raising his finger to his mouth and made a 'shh' sound. Rolling her eyes, she turned back to the unicorn to see it still looking at her. She bowed back and seeing that the unicorn started making its way over to her, she walked as well, and they met halfway. Raising her arms to stroke the unicorn, she couldn't help but gawk at it, it was magnificent.

Death watched the duo, and smiled softly, he was glad Estelle was his Mistress and not someone that was ungrateful and used him. No, Estelle was the opposite of that, she treated him as an equal, and never used him, unless completely necessary.

Estelle couldn't believe she was stroking a unicorn, she felt this huge childish excitement; technically physically she was nine, but mentally she's seven hundred and eighty-one.

"I think I'll call you, Flora; my little flower." Estelle whispered to the bewitching unicorn. Flora made a sound that Estelle took as acceptance.

Out of seemingly nowhere, a bright gold light eloped the two. Death stared wide-eyed at what was happening. Only she, Estelle, would have a unicorn as a familiar. You have to be one of pure heart to have a familiar as pure as a unicorn, and it has only happened once or twice in history. She really is special.

After the light disappeared, Estelle turned to look at Mortimer with wide eyes, "Did a unicorn just make me it's familiar?"

Mortimer chuckled at her, "It would appear so, Estelle. However, you're going to have to ask it how we'll be able to bring it around as we have places to be."

Estelle looked from her companion to her familiar, "Flora, are you able to change into something less noticeable, so I can take you around? I wish I could bring you around as you are, but people might try and hurt you. And do you like the name Flora?" Estelle felt queer for trying to talk to a unicorn and asking if it liked its name.

"Yes, Mistress, I can change. And I like my name, thank you for gifting it to me." replied Flora, rubbing Estelle with her nose.

"Oh, none of that, Mistress business, I get enough of that from that numpty over there," said Estelle motioning her head to Mortimer, "We're equals, Flora, so call me Estelle, please."

"As you wish, Estelle." was the last thing Flora said before transforming into a cat as white as snow, with eyes as golden as the sun.

Picking up Flora, Estelle walked over to Mortimer with a dreamy smile on her face, "Where do we go now?"

"Essie, dear, Diagon Alley, of course!"

Being in Diagon Alley brought back a lot of memories, good and bad. Estelle still remembers when Death Eaters destroyed it. But she also remembers her first time seeing it with Hagrid, she'd do anything to have that experience again; to see Diagon Alley for the first time, it is a huge magical experience.

Looking up at Mortimer, she asks, "Are we going to Gringotts first?"

Glancing at her and then the bank, he answers, "Yes, we need to see if you have any blocks on you, seeing as I couldn't do that for when you got reborn, and we also have to see what inheritance you have, and lastly who you shall be staying with, because to the wizarding word you're nine years old."

Rolling her eyes at the reminder that she's nine, they walked up to the entrance and bowed to the Goblins to show respect. They were shocked that someone knew how to greet them properly and bowed back quickly.  Estelle thought that was sad — being surprised because someone showed you respect; it's just basic manners.

The pair walked up to the last Goblin, the most important Goblin — also known as the king —, and cleared their throats. The Goblin looked up to bark at them, but before he could his eyes widened comically; he knew who they were.

The Goblin gave them a sharp smile, "Master Mortimer, Lady Ravenclaw, lovely to see you two again. How long has it been? Three centuries?"

What many people don't know is that some Goblins are blessed to be able to live for centuries. In this case Ragnok was one of those special Goblins; he's  been around for almost nine hundred years. And when you walk through the doors of Gringotts it will tell the Goblins who you are to them; a Goblin friend (thought, they are rare), customer, or just a muggle with their child(s) exchanging money. In this case, Mortimer and Estelle were the Goblin Nation's friends.

With a smirk, Estelle answered Ragnok lowly, "Oh, dear Ragnok, we know it's only been two centuries." Hearing this Mortimer and Ragnok chuckled, "My friend, we are in need of an inheritance test, and to see if any," she paused trying to find the right word, "transactions have been going on."

Ragnok's face turned serious in a moment; no one steals from Goblins and gets away with it - no one. "Follow me," he said grimly.

Sitting in Ragok's office, Estelle couldn't help but smile. It has been years since she's been in this office. She and Ragnok got along well, and would often do business together.

Sitting in his chair, Ragnok looked at them, "Seven drops of your blood please, Estelle. And then we'll have a look at any transactions."

Nodding her head, she accepted the dagger Ragnok offered her and cut open her palm, dropping seven drops of her blood on the magical paper.

Estelle was mad - no, that was an understatement she was furious. How dare he, Albus Dumbledore, do this to her. He will pay; even in death. But she couldn't help but wonder why Hermione's name wasn't there; she'd have to ask Mortimer later.

Mortimer even though knowing all this was enraged. How could someone do this to Estelle, a child (legally). It makes him sick to think someone does this because of the 'greater good'. Greater good his ass. By the time Mortimer believes that he'll be dead. . . so never.

Ragnok was disgusted, sure, none of the Goblins liked Dumbledore, but they never thought he'd stoop this low. Placing a block on a child's magical core; it's despicable. Albus Dumbledore had just made the Goblin Nation his enemy, and that is never good — never.

"Well, Estelle, let's get all these blocks and compulsions off. It will take a while." spoke Ragnok after several moments of angry tension.

"Let's" nodded Estelle leaving the room with Ragnok leaving Mortimer alone.

Walking back into Ragnok's office Estelle felt how strong her magic was compared to how it was an hour ago. It felt as strong as it did in the after life. "Oh, Morty, do you feel it?" she asked Mortimer excitedly.

"Of course I do, Essie. If I didn't I'd be concerned." chuckled Death at her excitement, easing her into her chair because she almost missed it.

"Back to business," started Ragnok, catching their attention, "It says here that every month; ten thousand galleons get transferred into the Weasley vault, and again, every month fifteen thousand galleons get transferred into Albus Dumbledore's vault. Is this correct?" asked Ragnok, even though he knew it wasn't.

Estelle pursed her lips. How dare they steal from her and think they can get away with it. "No, it is not right." she answered strongly, "I want all my money back — with interest."

Ragnok gave her a sinister smile, which Mortimer mirrored, "Let's get your money back, Lady Potter- Peverell- Gryffindor- Ravenclaw."

"You should have all your money back soon." concluded Ragnok to the two immortal beings.

"Thank you, Ragnok." said Mortimer, "But we also have to find a Guardian for Estelle." he turned to look at Estelle, "Any suggestions?"

Estelle thought for a moment and answered slowly, "I have two options," she gave them a huge smile, "Walburga Black or Severus Snape."

The other two people in the room looked at her as if she had three heads. "Walburga Black or Severus Snape?" asked Mortimer making sure he heard her right, gaining a nod. "Walburga because that'll piss the Headmaster off more than Snape."

Estelle stared at Ragnok, "Walburga Black it is Ragnok."

Oh, Estelle was going to have so much fun messing with Dumbledores plans.
