Another gun shot was heard and another body fell on ground.
"Sirrrr!!!!"
Samahir shouted looking at Sir Ahmed who was now laying on ground along with Education minister.
Within a second university ground changed into battlefield and an unending race of gunshots started.
"Net!!!!"
Ali shouted and those planes which were flying in the sky since morning threw a shade covering the ground.
"INSIDE THE HOSTEL!!!"
Zain shouted and all the students ran inside.
"Mahii!! Come!!"
Zainab was dragging Samahir who was sitting glued looking at sir Ahmed whose body was covered in blood.
Somehow Zainab managed to drag Samahir inside while Soldiers were firing back to the fullest.
All the gates and windows of hostel were closed.
Boys and girls were in same building trying to figure out what just happened.
"Zainab!!"
A whisper left Samahir's mouth.
"I am here!!"
Zainab sat beside her.
"Ali!! He is outside!!!"
Samahir said with horrified expression.
Sir Ahmed's blood in her eyes was making everything look red.
" He will be okay!! He is Major Khan!!"
Zainab said trying to make her peaceful who was now far from the word peace.
"Samahir!! Will sir Ahmed die?"
Zainab asked in teary voice.
" Don't say this! Zainab!!"
Samahir said with lump forming in her throat.
"Zain... I didn't see him since morning!!"
Zainab murmured and they exchanged looks.
They couldn't take it anymore.
A moment passed and they both burst into tears hugging each other.
So many things were running in their minds making their hearts clench.

"Major!! Why aren't you letting us go there?"
Zain asked still firing in the direction of forest from where enemies were firing.
Soldiers had already taken sir Ahmed and education minister inside the university where doctors were present.
"We don't have to go there Zain!!"
Ali said calmly loading his gun again.
"What do you mean?"
Affan asked confused.
Ali didn't say anything and came out from behind of tank he was hiding while firing.
And all of them noticed that gunshots were stopped.
" Why are you smiling Major?"
Ramish asked looking at Ali who was smiling looking at forest.
" Cause our mission is accomplished!!"
Ali said calmly.
"How??"
" What?"
Many voices were heard.
"Lets go to the forest!!"
Ali said pointing at forest and signalled them to follow him.
One group of them spread around while one group followed him.
Moments later they were walking underneath of huge trees.
It was dark inside in the afternoon too cause of heady shades of trees.
Their was dead silence and it voice was of crushing of leaves with their every step.
" You know what this forest is called?"
Ali asked.
All of them shoke their heads.
"Its called 'Saltanat-e-Meer'
(Meer's territory)"
Ali said calmly.
"Saltanat-e-Meer??"
(Meer's territory)
All of them asked confused.
"Yes!! It's Meer Hikmat's jungle!! He is the only king here. No one! I repeat no one can roam around without letting him know even he must have gotten the news of our arrival till now."
Ali said looking around.
They walked further and soon they saw a huge camp.
Many men were around and as soon as they saw soldiers they all saluted.
"Major Khan!!!"
Ali said authoritively and a man went inside a tent after saluting him.
And soon a man came out.
He had muscular arms , chiseled chest and sharp jaw line which was covered woth light beard.
He was indeed a handsome looking man.
"Aliii!!!"
He came forward and hugged Ali.
"Thank you!!"
Ali said smiling.
"No need!!! Let me take you to your culprits."
He nodded and started walking.
Soldiers followed him.
And soon they saw many men hanging upside down from trees with their legs tied with the trees.
Ali took his gun out and shot the rope on which a men in the centre who was seeming to be their captain was hanging making him fall down.
"I am Giving you a minute to start telling me all the shit you created!!!"
Ali bent down near him folding his collar.
Blood was running down that man's head.
"I have done what I wanted to!!"
That man said with evil grin.
" You surely are a recorded criminal who has guts to utter nonsense even in front of us."
Ali said punching him.
He kept quiet and Ali shot his leg making him whince.
When he didn't say anything still Ali shot his other leg.
Whole forest heard his cries.
"Meer! Did you plant the bomb in Faisal town block 6 flat no 56?"
Ali asked calmly and that's when that man jointed his palms infront of them.
"I will!! I will tell you... don't hurt my family...!!"
He said.
"Do you even care about them??"
Ali slapped him tightly.
" Go ahead!"
Ali said standing up.
"I.. wanted to kill you!!"
That man said pointing at Ali.
That's when Ramish loaded his gun and was about to shoot when Ali put his hand on Ramish's hand.
"Then why you didn't? Nazim Akhtar??"
Ali asked calmly.
Nazim looked at him shocked.
" How do you know...me?"
"I know everything about you!"
"When I came to know that you are here in Lahore with only few soldiers I planned to end your game. You killed many of our men and destroyed our weapons last year which caused us many difficulties. We couldn't able to complete our missions."
He said.
" Your missions?? What are your missions? TO KILL INNOCENT SOULS!!!"
Ali roared slapping him.
Meet pulled Ali back signalling Nazim to continue.
"That day I just came to check the field when I saw him sitting with a girl in ground. ... Whatever you say but that girl was seriously beautiful.. anddd..."
"Biwi hai wo meri saaley!!!"
(She is my wife you rascal!!)
Ali roared and clenched his collar and punched him hard.
Blood was quiet visible in the delicate capillaries of Ali's eyes.
This time instead of pulling Ali back Meer also punched Nazim.
Zain and Affan got the situation and pulled them both back.
" He still has to give us info."
Zain said.
Ali sighed controlling his anger.
"But when I came to know about his reason of coming here I changed my plan. He was famous and got respected everywhere every time due to his sense of duty.. so!! I decided to fail his mission of guiding students and education ministers and you know what?? I succeeded!!"
Nazim said stubbornly smiling.
All of them kept quiet.
" Now major khan just wait for your suspension letter cause you have failed!!!"
Nazim said sarcastically
Instead of reacting Ali smiled while each of them was having horrified expressions with just the thought of him getting suspended.
"Major??"
Ramish called him shocked.
Ali loaded his gun and shot Nazim directly at his right shoulder and then at his left shoulder making him fall back.
" You must be thinking that why I didn't kill you? Right? So the answer is that I want to tell you a story and believe me you will only be alive till I will be speaking. When I keep quite you will take your last breath. That's a promise!!"
Ali said with evil grin.
"So the story started with your foolishness when instead of shooting me you aimed at my wife. You thought that I didn't see you. Isn't it??"
Ali asked and Nazim nodded panting and whinning.
"No! I saw you! Actually I wanted you to fire and you did. When I got to know the distance covered by bullet I got alert. The shot was damn accurate and I knew that only you can fire this much skilfully with this distance and when I got the list of PSR-90 buyers I became more confidential upon looking at your name. It took me only 2 minutes to understand all your game that you didn't want me to die you wanted something else. Just then I ordered everyone to wear bullet proof jackets."
Ali said calmly and that's when it hit Nazam.
" This can't happen!! I .... I.. shot that professor...and education.. minister..."
"With your hands? Yes! But they are alive cause they were wearing jackets."
Ali bent down near him.
"Those were not winter jackets !!"
Ali said with evil grin patting Nazim's cheek.
"I didn't fail!! You failed!! You failed at that moment when you stepped in this forest. The Meer's Saltanat (Meer's territory)"
Meer said .
"I didn't lose anything!! Neither my mission nor anyone else!!"
Ali said sternly and sighed.
He kept quite and at that exact moment Nazim closed his eyes.
Affan and Ramishexchanged shocked looks while Zain saluted Ali making sure that he doesn't see.
"Bury him after praying his funeral!"
Ali said and turned around walking away with Meer.
"Thank you so much for your time and collaboration!!"
Ali smiled shaking hands with Meer.
"Ahan no need!! Major Khan k lye to jan bh hazir hai!"
(I can even die for major Khan!)
Meer smiled.
" You are true friend!"
Ali patted Meer's shoulder.
"And you are true husband!"
Meer said teasingly.
"Shut up!"
"I saw how you lost it when he just called your wife beautiful."
Meer elbowed him.
"So what? She is my wife and only I can praise her. She is my home and damn important to me!!"
Ali said in a dominating voice.
"Oh hi!! Major Khan had surely changed!"
Meer said hiding his laugh.
Ali opens his mouth to say something but closed it back cause he knew that it was of no use.
No matter what you say!
Your nasty friends will believe what they believe!
After Nazim's funeral all the soldiers started their journey back to the hostel.
They were moving ahead like lions.
Fearless and fierce!!
Nazim wanted to end their game but he forgot that they were real game changers themselves.

"Everything is alright!! All of you can come out!!"
Upon hearing the announce both Samahir and Zainab ran out.
"Where is sir Ahmed?"
Samahur asked one of the soldier.
"In that room!"
He pointed towards the room in front.
Thank him they both ran towards the room.
As soon as they entered in their breath hitched looking at the body covered in white sheet.
"Sir..!"
A whisper left Samahir's mouth and tears started cascading down her cheeks.
Just then someone entered in room but they didn't turn to see.
" we are sorry sir!!.. we..used to...tease you..alot!!!"
Samahir said bursting in tears.
Zainab didn't say anything and hide her face in her palms.
"What happened to you both?"
Upon hearing a familair voice they both turned around with a jolt.
"Sir Ahmed???"
"Yes me!"
"You are alive!!!"
Both of them yelled simultaneously.
"offcourse dear!!"
"But you got shot. Didn't you??"
Zainab asked.
"Actually...."
And woth this sir Ahmed narrated them whole story about Ali making them wear bullet proof jackets.
" And what about that blood?"
Samahir asked.
"There were water ballons isnide jacket. With that bullet they got burst and whole coloured liquid came out which you guys mistake as blood."
Sir Ahmed said.
" And what is this?"
Zainab asked pointing at the body on bed.
"Its a dummy!!"
Sir Ahmed grinned.
"What about that minister?"
Samahir asked.
" He must be his home by now."
Sir Ahmed said.
"We were crying for you whole day and it all went in vain."
Samahir murmured and this time Sir Ahmed didn't say anything but burst into laughter.
" Well let me say that your man had gotten brains along with beauty."
Sir said and Samahir choked on air she was inhaling.
"Yes dear I know!"
Sir Ahmed said in a teasing manner and Samahir cleared her throat looking everywhere but at Sir Ahmed and Zainab who were laughing crazily.

It was 9 in evening when Samahir put prayer mat aside after praying Esha.
Whole day had passed but they hadn't come back yet.
Now her eyes were even feeling pain due to crying whole day.
Zainab was with Sir Ahmed put in the ground.
Samahir was looking at ceiling with empty eyes while sitting on cold floor.
She didn't know anything except the fact that she wanted him to return back at any cost.
"Mahi Mahi!! They returned!!"
Zainab shouted from outside and Mahi ran out crazily.
" How are you bhai?"
Zainab asked Ali.
"I am fine!!"
Ali nodded.
Zain was standing beside him.
" And you...?"
Zainab asked hesitantly but Zain didn't reply.
" She is talking to you."
Ali elbowed him.
"Huh? Yeah yeah I am good."
Zain said looking around.
Zainab's eyes were glued to the wound on his knuckles.
"Can.. can I bandage you hand??"
Zainab asked and Zain looked at Ali with eyes becoming saucer.
Ali turned his head sideways hiding his smile.
What made Zain shocked was her tears whivh were running down her cheeks.
"Yes..you can!!"
Zain said hesitantly.
He didn't want her to cry and he himself didn't know the reason.
Zainab nodded and asked him to follow her.
" You are so bad Major!!"
Zain whispered looking at him who was laughing and followed her.
When they both left Ali started looking around.
His eyes were searching her and forgot to blink when they landed on her.
Samahir wanted to run in his arms to ensure herself that he was back and won't go anywhere but she remained glued at her spot.
Ali eyed her from top to bottom and his heart clenched when he didn't find any difference.
He thought that she must be waiting for him impatiently and will embrace him as soon as she will see him but no. She didn't even bulge.
"I guess it's only me who keeps on dreaming!!"
He murmured and put his cap on turning around.
When she found him turning around her heart skipped a beat.
"Bhar my jy ab sab sari batein!!"
(Let everything go to hell!!)
She murmured wiping her tears and shouted on her lungs.
"Aliiiii!!!"
Ali froze on his spot upon hearing her voice.
After a moment he turned around only to see her still standing at same point.
" Let me be the one to step ahead!!"
He murmured and stretched his arms in air.
Samahir smiled and ran in his arms.
As soon as she collided with his chest she felt world stopping.
She felt her heart beating fast.
Everything was blurry cause he was the focus now.
He pulled her more closer not leaving any space between them.
Ali could sense that she was crying with soundless tears.
" Are you crying?"
He asked but she shoke her head still hiding her face in his chest.
He held her chin and made her look at him.
"What are these then?"
He asked taking tears on his finger tip.
"Soemthing got into my eye."
She said blinking away.
"Don't lie!!"
"Larkiyan jhoot nahi boltin!"
(Girls don't lie!)
"Achaww??"
(Is it so?)

(Yes!)
"Larki kahan hain ap to fire hain!

He said taking his hand inside her hair.
Her duppata slipped down due to wind.
She smiled shyly.
"Ainda na rona! I don't want to see your eyes swollen!"
(Never cry ever again!)
He said tracing her eyelids.
She closed her eyes feeling the solcae.
"Sardi nahi lg rhi tumhen?
(Aren't you feeling cold?)
I asked rubbing his hands up and down on her cold shoulders.
"Lag rahi hai!"
(I am!)
"Then where is your jacket?"
He raised brow.
He couldn't compromise on her health at any cost.
"Ab ki bar yh sardi jacket se nhi jygi!"
(This time this cold won't go with jacket!)
"Phr?"
(Then?)
"Ab ki bar tumhen qareeb ana hoga!"
(This time you have to come closer!)
She said and pulled him down by clenching his collar.
"Ouch !! My heart!"
Ali put his palm on his heart controlling his inner self.
He was happily surprised.
How could his heart not go crazy when she was this close to him?
He stretched his arms again and she clenched his torso tightly as if her life depends on him.
"Ab nahi lg rhi!!"
(Now it is not cold anymore!)
She murmured while smiling.
"Damn girl!! You are making me do crazy things!!!"
He said smiling wholeheartedly.
Instead of replying she burst into laughter.
Ali kissed her head onto her hair upon listening her musical laugh.
And again Majir Ali forgot taht he was on mission whole day and was tied like hell.
"Meri guriya!!"
(My doll!)
He pulled her more closer and kissed twice on her left shoulder and later put his chin on it.
