Misaki's POV
I ran out of the condo not thinking where I could go. I ran out of there, only to see someone calling out my name. But I didn't listen, I just kept on running.
I eventually found myself in the park. "Misaki. Are you okay? You ran out of there pretty fast." He sounded familiar, so I looked a little over my shoulder.
Professor... Kamijou? Why is he worried about me? "Oh, professor Kamijou! I'm fine!" I tried lying.
"You're obviously not fine. You were just sprinting out of there crying. Now tell me what's wrong." He said.
I was torn. Should I tell him? Maybe... But I can't tell him that the person I love is abusing me. No... loved. I didn't realize that I was crying. I needed to leave, but I was cut off by the rain. Suddenly pouring down.
"Misaki... I'm not gonna leave until you tell me. And you can call me Kamijou." He said using a slightly more sympathetic voice. I was touched. The devil from the university... is worried for me. I might as well tell him.
When I turned around to face him, I could tell he was shocked. "Misaki...! What the hell happened?"
"Akihiko," I would have used his nickname, but I couldn't. His name just slipped out no problem, "he hits me..." After that I broke down. "He's been hitting me for the past 2 months! *sniff* I left after he called me a burden! I don't know what to do, Kamijou! He doesn't stop! I'm so scared of him!" I knelt down on the muddy grass. The words just kept on pouring out of me.
Before I knew it, Kamijou hugged me. It only made me cry harder. We were there for awhile, but the rain didn't stop. We just stood there, and I could of sworn I felt water down my back. But I don't think they were raindrops.
