A/N: the following poem was selected by the America Library of Poetry for the 2010-2011 book called 'Acclaimed.' 'Acclaimed' is a compilation of student works through all grades of schooling until college. It is published under my real name (naturally) and was released in December of 2011.

Tomorrow is a day,
That any yesterdays
Can only dream
Of Becoming.
It wakens with joy,
In the world of our noise,
And ponders
At its own reflection.
For is tomorrow not today
Once the sun is risen?
Then changed the reflection
Would be, would it not?
As tomorrow
Becomes today,
And today
Becomes yester…
Why look at a reflection
That will only change?
