This is where it all began, I was walking into the gas station to get some gas and a drink and as I went to go pay for the drink an gas I looked to my right and that was when I had seen this handsome man walk in and he looked right at me, so I acted like I was looking at something so he didn't think I was some kind of creep. And as the cashier told me my total I handed the cashier the money and I walked out of the gas station an walked back to my truck so I can just get out of this awkward situation that I put myself in, and as I'm driving down the road and then next thing I know I hear sirens coming from behind me and I was being pulled over so I turned my right signal on and I pulled over safely and I grab my license and registration before the cop came up to my door and I waited patiently then I rolled down my window just as soon as the cop came to my window, I had given him what he needed before he could even ask for it an I looked at him and I asked "is there a reason as to why I am pulled over officer?" and the officer looked at me and said "ma'am you have a tail light out but just make sure you get it fixed." then the cop hands me back my license and registration and he told me you have a good day now ma'am and after I put my things away, I drove to the closest auto parts store that was near me so I can fix my tail light.
So now I'm at the auto parts store and as I walk inside I happened to see the same guy from the gas station, and it kind of felt like as if he was following me but then yet again I could be wrong like maybe he had to come to the auto parts store to get something it could be just a coincidence that he was at the same auto parts store I'm at. So I go down the aisle where the tail lights would be at and while I'm searching for the right tail light for my truck my phone stared to ring and so I grabbed it out of my pocket and the caller ID said mom, so I answer it and just before I could get any words out she told me "hey Zoey when you get home can you please find all of the paperwork for hiring a new ranch hand" and her tone in her voice made it sound as if she was scared and she made it sound very urgent so I told her "I'll get it done as soon as I'm done getting a part for my truck." she says back to me "oh honey is everything okay, are you hurt?" so, I told her that everything is just fine and that I'm not hurt I just had to get a tail light for the back of my truck because the light died and I just had to replace it." and so my mom sighs with relieve and she said "okay Zoey well drive safe back to the house and I'll be there in time for dinner an if I'm not just dish mine up and place it into the oven so it'll stay warm it just depends on traffic out here, I've been in a traffic jam for three hours and hopefully I'll make in time for dinner." so I told her "I will and alright but I got to go because I'm about to head on out of here with the new tail light but I'll see you when you get home and hopefully the traffic starts to move soon I love you." and she said "I love you too sweetheart."
As the cashier told me my total for the light, I paid for it and I walked back to my truck I had placed everything inside my truck and grabbed out the light from the auto parts store bag and I walked to the backside on the left of my truck and I'm working on changing the lights from bad to new, the guy from the gas station came out of the auto parts store and he came up to me and asked me "excuse me miss but would you like a helping hand?" I looked up and said "yeah actually I can't seem to figure out how to put the new light in for my truck." so I gave him the light and he took a look at it and he takes off the cap to the tail light and places it in the bed of the truck and he ran to his car to get some tools so he can put the good light in the correct way and he came back over to my truck and while he's fixing it, I was just watching him fix it for me. He puts the cap back on the tail light and he said "alrighty ma'am your truck is all fixed up." I said to him "thank you sir I appreciate your help" he looked at me and told me "not a problem ma'am, and I'm Spencer by the way." she says to Spencer "I'm Zoey." Spencer taps his hat an says to Zoey "well it was a pleasure meeting you, you have a good one now." Zoey smiled and shook her head and replied back to Spencer saying "you too and it was nice meeting you as well and thanks once again I really appreciated it." Spencer nodded his head and walked to his car while Zoey stared walking back to her truck and she started heading back to her house so she can help her mom hire a new ranch hand and as she is driving home she had realized that it was too quiet in her truck so she turned the radio on an started listening to country music.
