kissing it better | bakugo x reader

it had been a long day. class 1a had spent today mostly training, and believe me it was exhausting. though the class hadn't been critically injured, they still took some damage and had been left with bruises, along with cuts and scrapes. y/n had watched as bakugo, one of their close friends, marched into his dorm without saying a word to any of the others, not even kirishima. y/n assumed that this was just because of the injuries, and they were right. bakugo wasn't someone who would take falls easily, nor was he someone who let himself be defeated. the fiery blonde was someone who often let his pride and ego get in the way of things, which screwed everything up once in a while. 

as soon as y/n had finished taking care of their own damage, they walked up to bakugo's dorm and knocked on the door. all they got for a reply was an angry groan. they sighed, twisting the doorknob. and to their surprise, it hadn't been locked. bakugo probably just forgot to lock it. in this case, they sat down on the other end of the bed, setting down a small navy bag with different aid supplies. bakugo sat up, looking at them with a stare resembling both confusion and amusement. y/n gestured for him to lay his head on their lap, which after a few moments of 'tchs' he finally did so. they slowly started putting ointment onto a q-tip, lightly pressing it onto bakugo's cuts. he flinched at the sudden stinging but y/n didn't mind, they just kept on doing their thing. they took out a cotton swab and dabbed away any left over blood that was on his face or arms. as they put the supplies back into the bag, setting it down. seeing bakugo looking up at the person hovering over him, they smiled and planted a small kiss on his bottom lip. he sat up, staring at y/n. 

"what was that for?" his lips curled into a small, almost invisible smile but it was there. they could tell. y/n shrugged.

"ever heard the saying kissing it better?" they gave a smile to bakugo before walking out the door and closing it behind them. 

kissing it better. huh.
