The Discovery of Mr. Han

He cleared his throat to get her attention. Jin Kyeong looked at him with questioning eyes. He then shifted his eyes to the alleged couple and raised his eyebrows. However Jin Kyeong just looked at him with a nonplussed face and winked. Now he knew there was definitely something going on!

The night had finally started there were wise words given, laughter and the awaited awards were handed out. In the middle of the ceremony Han Suk Kyu excused himself to go to the men's room. On his way back he heard voices talking around the corner in a quiet secluded area. He would have went on his way in not for one of the the voices talking quite loudly sounded familiar. He diverted his path, walked slower and peeked at the corner and there it was lo and behold the proof he needed the couple in question standing in the dimly lit corridor. He could see Sung Kyung ranting non stop while fixing the bow tie of Hyo Seop who was leaning on the wall. Hyo Seop on the other was quietly watching her with fondness in his eyes and an amused smile all along running his hands up and down on her sides seemingly appeasing her.

Han Suk Kyu quickly hid himself as he felt like a peeping Tom watching the couple having their moment. But he couldn't leave for one they would most likely see him now when he would walk past them and two, he was quite intrigued with the conversation. He wasn't really the type to meddle in another's affairs but this was different these were almost like his kids and what parent wouldn't want to eavesdrop on their children right? Agreeing to himself that these were good enough reasons he too leaned on the wall while crossing his arms on his chest and listened to the ongoing conversation.

"What the hell does she think she's doing? Does she really need to keep touching you while talking to you?"  Sung Kyung asked with raised voice.

Han Suk Kyu couldn't help chuckling silently. It looks like the lioness was being territorial and had her claws out.

"Hey love, she's a friend alright? She used to be one of the PR in JYP and she helped us around the first time we joined the company." Hyo Seop explained patiently and calmly.

Still the lioness wasn't having it.

"Do you really know her that well? Were you close?" She demanded.

"Well, we did hang out a number of times together." Hyo Seop answered in a casual tone. If Han Suk Kyu was to bet on it he had a feeling that the foolish boy was riling her up more and he didn't think that was a good idea. You don't provoke an angry lioness nor should you goad an angry woman because in both cases you're dead.

"By hanging out you mean as a group or alone together?" Sung Kyung asked her voice was suspiciously calm it was lethal.

Oh boy! He better not have a history with that touchy friend for hell hath no fury like a woman scorned Suk Kyu thought while shaking his head.

"Well love..you see..ouch! That was a little tight  babe."

"Was it? This tie is a bit stubborn don't you think?"

Hyo Seop chuckled. "Do you really want to choke me over some trivial matter baby? I'm sorry for teasing you but she's just a friend that I happened to meet here and I don't think she meant anything with those few touches."

"Well I don't—"

Then there was silence. Curious as to why he took a peek once again and instantly regretted it. Despite how quick it was he couldn't unsee his "children" wrapped up in each other's arms lost in a passionate kiss.

Han Suk Kyu  shook his head and laughed at himself quietly. He should have known why she was suddenly cut off it was one of the easiest way to appease a raging woman it's in the rule book for heaven's sake! Well, it seemed to him that his boy actually knew what he was doing all along.

"Yah! You can't just do that everytime you know!" She argued weakly.

"Well you were getting loud Ms. Lee. Besides I like doing that everytime." He answered her cheekily.  "Com'on  we better go  I think we're up the stage next." He added.

Han Suk Kyu also started to prepare to leave too. They were almost out of the corridor and he could see them now but he was still slightly hidden to them when Sung Kyung stopped walking.

"Wait!"

Hyo Seop turned to her with a raised eyebrow.

"I just want to say I'm sorry too. I just don't want you to think I'm pushing you away." She was looking down.

Hyo Seop held her face up to look at him. "Love, we're working in an industry that doesn't make relationships easy. But I'm in on this for the long haul." He then took her hand and placed it on his chest. "I may be interacting and kissing other women for work but always know that wherever I may be this only belongs to you. Got it?" He told her firmly and even from afar Han Suk Kyu could see the affection in their eyes reflecting each other.

Sung Kyung nodded and Hyo Seop placed a lingering kiss on her forehead and both softly mouthing "I love yous" after to seal the deal further and they both left separately.

Han Suk Kyu couldn't help thinking with happiness that somehow Lee Sung Kyung had finally found the love she was looking for and Ahn Hyo Seop came just right on time.

Han Suk Kyu retuned to his seat just as the couple were called on stage. They looked cool and collected walking on stage like the professional actors that they were. Who would've thought?

"You were gone a while." Jin Kyeong said to him.

"I was caught up proving a theory." He told her with a knowing smile. Jin Kyeong nodded seeming to know what happened even without him saying it.

"Does everyone know but me?" He asked her trying to look offended.

"Maybe." Jin Kyeong answered shrugging unperturbed.

They looked at each other and chuckled.

Everyone in their table as well as other attendees cheered as Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop received their best couple award.

"They look beautiful together don't they?" Jin Kyeong asked him while watching the couple on stage lovingly.

"They truly do."  

As he watched them looking like the king and queen of the night on stage Han Suk Kyu knew as individual actors the world was their oyster there's no doubt about that. But as a couple in this business Hyo Seop was right to say it wouldn't be easy. It would be an uphill battle but after witnessing what he now knew he's sure they'd make it through on the top victoriously. Besides, looking at the people in his table he knew Doldam's got their back.

He's definitely got their back.
