A young Saylim walked the bustling streets of Centor. His eyes wandered over the tents with miscellaneous items put haphazardly over the table. Some shiny which caught his eyes quite often, he adored shiny trinkets of any form. Some wooden or porcelain, like bowls and wooden spoons. Pieces of fabric hang from poles, lighty waving from the breeze and when someone just walked by, it always lingered in the direction where they were going like it was saying "take me, take me". Suddenly he was knocked off his feet by a passerby, falling onto the stone street, he looked around at hurried bodys, the sounds around him seemed to cloud his mind. He stumbled to get up, trying not to get stampeded by the crowd. Soon he found himself in a circle where no one stood and bounced to his feet, breathing heavily and terrified. Out of nowhere there was a roar, not one from a lion or any animal he heard before, It was like if you put a roar of a big cat and a scratch of an owl or just a deep voiced owl. The clamering of people stopped and Saylim spun on his feet to see a creature, a big creature. Like a Griffin but if you replaced its beak for a cats face. Its ears were lit with a fire that Saylim couldn't take his eyes off. Its tail long tail swayed around with the same flame placed on its tip. You could almost say it was a winged, big black cat with sharp hawk-like claws. A old man emerged from behind the creature, holding a wooden cane twisted and with intricate holes that looked like it came from a scary forest from distant lands away from Cursebrorow

"Don't worry shes harmless" He said with a harsh voice as he patted the creatures fur. "Shes quite soft inside and out but very cocky" He continued with a cracked smile. The creature seemed grumble in response like it knew what he seid.

"What is she?" Saylim asked

"She is a tatari of course"

"Iv never seen a ta-ta-ri"

"Well she might as well be the only one, I've never seen another tarari my whole life" Saylim went silent, studying the creature once again. "Want to pet her?" the man asked after some time of awkward silence "Sure" Saylim answered. "Just put your hand out she'll come to you". So Saylim did, reaching out to the tatari with a small hand. The Tarari slowly bent its head down, meeting the boy's. Saylim felt the soft and thick fur of the tatari reminding him of his cat back at home.

"Saylim! Saylim!" A female voice called "I think you moms calling you" The old man spoke and with that Saylim bounded away threw the crowd without a goodbye or a thank you
