It was late at night.
About 11:30,
all students,well most students were asleep,
except for Hermione Granger who had decided she was up for a late night walk.
Hermione had a lot on her mind.
Although she was the smartest witch of her age,she to was one who stressed about homework being in on time and studying for exams.
After sneaking around for about an hour,She found herself in the top of the astronomy tower.
For some reason she felt as if she could relax up there, just her and her own thoughts no distraction.No judging.and no body knowing.
As she reached the very top she notices a figure,a boy who seemed to be alone staring off into the courtyard.
Hermione was surprised to see someone up there as she thought every student was supposed to be asleep,I guess that she wasn't the only rule breaker at Hogwarts.
She tried tip toeing towards this boy in hope she would see who it was before he noticed her,but a sudden creek in the floorboard caused this young handsome boy to turn around swiftly.
He looked right in to Hermione's eyes and smiled.
"DRACO!"screamed Hermione In some sort of doubt,it seemed that she was expecting someone else.
"Hello to you to" he replied,still startled by the interruption of his deep thoughts.
"What brings you up here Granger?"
"I could ask you the same,Malfoy"
"Couldn't sleep, and this has always kind of been my spot"
"Oh,sorry I didn't see your name on it" Hermione replied with a slight attitude.
"No I didn't mean it like that...
-so what did you mean it like" Hermione interrupted.
"Well uhhh...never mind"
"0kay,well I shall be on my way,I have nothing to say to you." Hermione instantly regretted what she said as she didn't mean to be harsh with her words.
The young witch began to walk away,she could feel that Draco was staring at her ,as she got to the stairs—
—"wait"
Hermione turned around in shock.
Draco once again was lost in Hermione's glistening brown eyes.
They were both stood in silence lost for words,gazing at one another,until it was broken by Hermione impatiently-
-"if you are just going to stand here and waist my time I must get going"
She storm's off but is stopped by a soft hand on her wrist pulling her gently towards him,she looks at the gap between their feet and steps in closer.
Hermione looks slightly up at Draco and moves her head closer to his.
Draco just looks in to her eyes,breathes a little and leans in slowly to kiss her,halfway meeting him was Hermione's lips elegantly locking with his.
She runs her hands up his neck and though his platinum blonde soft,silky hair.
Draco's hands slowly lift up from his sides and are placed neatly on Hermione's hips.
They both slowly pull away,and only now Hermione was noticing his ice blue eyes.
She smiles at him,he smiles back at her and slowly walks away down the stairs,leaving Hermione smiling to herself at the top of the astronomy tower.
