"Shit!" a voice said, disrupting the silence inside the cottage-like home. A sigh soon followed afterward, the brown-haired man watches as some water spills onto his counter as he cooks, he makes his way to the paper towels and rips one-off and folds it in half. After cleaning the water he throws the towel away and stirs the water into his soup, he slowly stirs to avoid spilling the soupy water on the stove. He finishes stirring and mixes in the noodles and chicken in with the broth, and slowly begins to stir that in. After stirring all the ingredients he takes a seat on his couch and turns on his tv to watch a Studio Ghibli film to pass the time, he starts to eat his soup slowly to avoid burning his tongue. He sighs halfway into the film and got up to get a text from him, boss, "Hey Schlatt, can you come in for a few extra hours tomorrow? We have deliveries coming in and need extra help." the text said, he sighed and decided to finish his soup to get to bed faster.

Once he finished his soup, he makes his way over to his room to get ready to sleep. He washes up, brushes his teeth, and finally shines his stubby horns. His horns weren't fully grown in yet and often got looks since it was abnormal to have such weird features. He shrugs after shining them and heads to his room once more, he sits down on his bed and slowly lays down charging his phone in the process, and soon falls into a deep sleep. He wakes at the sound of an alarm the rings around 7:30 A.M. to get up for work, he puts his work clothes on which is normally a black long sleeve and black pants with any shoe. He grabs some breakfast and his name tag on the way out.

It never takes him long to get ready or get to work, he walks there since its only 10 minutes away from his house. He takes a shortcut through an alleyway that gets him there 5 minutes faster, nothing really goes on in the alleyway beside the occasional drug deal that he doesn't pay mind to. Once he got to work he met with his boss in the back before the store opened for customers, "Hey, what deliveries are we getting today?" Schlatt asks his boss, the blonde-haired man didn't inform him about what the deliveries were and when. "The deliveries will be bread, new equipment for making food, and more silverware." He said as he turned to Schlatt. Schlatt stood there putting his apron on to get ready for making food and drinks, the blonde-haired man turned back around to return to his office as Schlatt walked to the door to open the coffee shop up.

Soon customers started to fill in when it became lunch hour, people from businessmen to construction workers ordered drinks or food to complete their lunch hours. He would have the occasional 'Karen' like people who demanded food, he sometimes gets anxious from having to deal with those types of people, they were always so cranky. He didn't understand why they were like that and couldn't fathom acting like that either. Once lunch hour finished another employee clocked themselves in so he could take a lunch break for himself, he walks to the back to put his apron and nametag down so he could get food. As he walked out the back door he quickly makes it to a nearby 7/11 to get a salad and some sort of drink, as he passed through crowds people would stare at him with confused looks. It's not normal to see a ram hybrid thing walking around after all, he tried to ignore the looks he had received but they would bug him knowing people were silently judging him.

Once he made it to the nearby 7/11 he was greeted by his friends that worked at the registers, Connor and Carson, they waved at him as they both checked some teens out and bagged their items. He walks over to the salads and grabs one, he soon makes his way over to the drinks and grabs himself a coke, out of the corner of his eye he sees a little keychain that has a bee pattern with the words, 'Save the bees!' he looks at it and smiles, he grabs the keychain and walks to the register. "What's up J?" Connor says as he checked Schlatt out, "Haha, nothing much... What about you Conman?" he responded as he took out his wallet, Carson bags up his stuff with a smile. "Nothing much either, me and Carson were gonna play some Minecraft sometime later, wanna join us?" Connor said as he pointed out the receipt, Schlatt shrugged, "Why shouldn't I? Sure I'll join you guys." He said taking the receipt out of Connor's fingers and waves goodbye to them both as he walked out the door.

Schlatt finally gets back to the cafe and starts eating in the backroom as he checks out social media seeing some tweets from friends and stuff. As he crunches on his salad he hears his boss cursing someone out, he decides to look out the door to see what the situation was. "You expect me to give you a fucking refund for a donut you took a damn bite out of?!" His boss exclaimed as the other employee sat there at the register bothered by the yelling going on between the customer and the blonde man. Schlatt sighs and walks over, "How may I help you?" He says silently telling his boss to back down, the customer calmed down and answered him, "I accidentally ordered the wrong donut! I want a refund!" She said sticking the donut into Schlatt's face, Schlatt took the donut from her, "What's the one you wanted, we'll give you that one." He said throwing it away. "I wanted a jelly donut." She said, he smiles and grabs that for her and gives her free water, "Sorry for the inconvenience." He said. His boss turned to him with a smile, "Thanks J Money." He said and walked back to his office. Schlatt shrugged it off and walked back to the backroom.

5:07 P.M. His watch said, he sighed as he clocked out. It was a long shift but it was worth the paycheck for it, once he put his apron away he made sure everything was cleaned before heading out. He heads through the alleyway and notices a box that says for free on the outside that wasn't in the alleyway before, he walks over to it and hears noises from inside it, he slowly opens it up to see it was a baby inside it. His eyes widen when he saw the sight, it was saddening to see the sight of a lonely baby in a box, he slowly grabbed the child out and unraveled his blanket, he gasped.

The child had ears like him.
