Legends of Tomorrow fic

Chapter 1

Ella Kennedy had a rough past, but never thought her past would bring her to where she is today. Ella Kennedy was born in London, and her parents were shot after leaving the hospital. The original target was her mom, but her dad took a bullet for her mom, giving her enough time to write a note to the nurses, before she got shot. Soon after the note was found telling them to send Ella somewhere safe, so they sent her to an orphanage in London. She grew up there, only having some friends. At 18 she had enough and ran away, living alone on the streets was easy for someone who could turn invisible, she had gotten into a bit of trouble along the way, but she was eventually found by a Rip Hunter, and worked at a top secret place called The Time Bearu, however that place had too many employees, so to save Ella from getting fired at the age of 25, he sent her to work with the legends. That's how she ended up where she is now, on a time ship with six other people.

The portal closed behind Ella, and she turned to see six complete strangers, looking at her.

"Who's that?"

"I don't know, why don't you try asking her?!"

"Because I thought you guys knew everything."

"No! We don't!"

"Oh. Miss who are you?"

"I'm Ella Kennedy. Who are all of you?"

"Ella! I love that name. I'm Zari Tazari, social media personality, part of the legends."

"I'm Ray Palmer, also a legend, and the captain of this ship."

"Nora Darhk, part-time legend, and happily dating the captain of this ship."

"You don't need to know me, and I don't care who you are. I have better things to do."

"That's Mick Rory, he's normally pretty grumpy. Don't let it get to you, he doesn't mean anything by it."

"Nate Heywood, Historian, legend."

"We're all legends, my name doesn't matter luv."

"Right.. Well Rip sent me here, because he didn't want to fire me from the bureau and said something about a team that's looking for a seventh member, and that all of you have some sort of ability." She said quietly, keeping her distance from the group, not quite sure if she could trust them yet.

"Oh well we have something like that. Haircut has a suit, pretty turns to steel, trench coat deals with dark magic, fairy deals with magic and wishes, girly can make air, and I have a gun." Mick said, pointing at everyone as he went down the line.

"Right... well I have invisibility."

"Oh no way! Can we see?" Zari asked, looking up from her phone.

"Uh... I'd prefer not to just yet."

"Boring. Right well someone give her a tour." Zari said, and turned away and Mick followed after her.

"Nate could you?" Ray asked, and looked at Nate who shook his head.

"Nope, I have to help Mick's daughter, she is doing history work. So I'm taking the jump ship." He said, and walked away.

"I'll do it. You and Nora need time off anyways, so go rest." John said and walked over to her, causing her to back up.

"I don't let strangers show me around."

"John Constantine. Now we aren't strangers, let's just get this bloody tour over with."

"You volunteered to give me the bloody tour."

"Because no one else would, don't make me regret even giving you the tour, I could just not, and let you get lost on the Waverider and then you can wait for someone to find you."

"Okay, rude. You clearly woke up on the wrong side of the bed, or got pushed off the bed of a girl you tried to sleep with because you just weren't all that good."

"I'm the best there is luv." John said, with a wink, before turning and walking away, and Ella followed, keeping her distance from him. He rolled his eyes and showed her around pointing out everything.

"You probably want out of the Bureau's clothes. A pantsuit just doesn't do any good for your figure."

"Good to know that you haven't known me for a hour and you checked me out. I'll be fine without you now."

"Right, Rip probably taught you all about his old ship. Then have fun on your own sunshine." John said, then walked away. Ella rolled her eyes, and closed the doors to her room, making sure they locked, before getting changed into a skirt and a

tank top. Working on a team like this would be a new experience for her, but would she be ready to make this new adjustment?
