the sounds of tiny feet running down the hallway could be heard in the silent house. who do they belong to? y/n l/n.
y/n sprinted at full speed towards the front door, so she could get to her childhood best friend. shoto todoroki.
his dad and her mom were both pro hero's and worked together a lot. since they knew each other, y/n and shoto could have playdates. or as endeavor thought "training sessions".
her dad, also a pro hero, was supposed to be making the two of them fight each other whenever shoto came, but he rather them have a normal childhood.
finally making it to the front, y/n bent over and tried to catch her breath. "are you ok n/n?" her friend's premature voice asked.
y/n took another second to catch her breath. "yea i-.." once she looked up, she saw a bandage covering the dual-haired boy's left eye. she widened her eyes and rushed up to him. "shoto. how did this happen?" he looked away, which made her sigh.
"you don't have to tell me now, but tell me eventually." he looked back at her and nodded his head.
they continued their play date as they would do on any day that the two got to hang out. what y/n didn't know, was that shoto wasn't coming over the next day or the day after. she didn't know that they weren't gonna see each other again for another 10 years.
