AeMari (a- Marie) POV
The Uber has finally arrived at my destination. I dig into my brand new Louis Vuitton bag to look for change to tip the driver.
"Here you go", I handed him $15 dollars.
"Thank you so much ma'am have a nice day"
I took my things out of the car and started walking towards my brand new apartment.
It looked just how it did in the pictures. Beautiful counter tops, nice flooring, and soft carpet in the bedrooms.
I only brought two boxes with me because I my other belongings won't be coming until tomorrow. Oh and my future.
My favorite part of this apartment is the master bedroom. It's huge and it's all for me, it's something new.
Ding Dong
The door bell snapped me out of my thoughts. I made my way to the door, carful not to slip on the wood floors.
"Jayden??"
I practically screamed!
"Oh my gosh come in!!! How did you know I was here?"
She pulled her phone from her pocket. "I have your location dummy, you turned it on"
"Oh, I forgot, but I missed youuuu" I scooted towards her to give her a big hug
"Awwwe I missed you too Mari. So how do you like Houston so far?"
Pulling away from her I walked to the windows.
"That. I like that building right there. It looks different than the others. That's what I like so far about Houston"
"It's not bad. That's the building of a multimillionaire business"
"That's exactly where I'm going to be", I say smiling hard.
"Amen!"
"Jayden what y'all got to eat down here cause I'm hungry"
"Everything"
"You lyin"
"What I gotta lie about. How bout we go somewhere to eat, I know you ain't got nun in that fridge"
"Are you serious Jayden I just told you I was- never mind come on let's go"
"Tuhh not in that!"
"What's wrong with what I got on??"
"Mari it's cold out side go put on a jacket and some uggs or sum"
I glared at her and turned to go get my teddy jacket and brown ugg boots that I luckily packed in my bag.
"Okay I'll meet you in your car gimme one moment"
"Okay girl, hurry up"
I chuckled then she closed the door. I picked up my phone and went to my call log.

I closed my eyes.
"You just crazy! Ain't nobody gon love you the way I love you!"
I opened my eyes and took a deep breath.
"New beginnings", I whispered.
