Growing up as an only child wasn't bad it wasn't that great either, trust me we all need company at some point of our lives and siblings come in handy .I had a pretty simple life ,going to school ,coming home early ,performing really well in class.
Most of the students my age would prefer to call me a nerd .But all in all it wasn't that bad because I had a loving family and my childhood best friend. We have been close since grade three till now that we were seniors at Prestige high and three months from our graduation .
Jennie was the complete opposite of me ,they say opposites attract maybe that's why we are close .At school they refer to her as the most beautiful girl in school ,she is also the leader of the cheer leading squad .some people tend to call her barbie doll though she might pretend she is cool with that well she isn't .
Anyways she is coming for a sleepover tonight and she would spend the weekend here .My parents would be out of town and had agreed to the idea of letting Jennie to stay ."Babes where are you?"she yelled from the sitting room "Am in my room girl" I replied
"You are studying again ,seriously you need to get a life ." she stressed "Am sorry am late I saw a beautiful designer bag and you know I couldn't leave the precious thing behind ,but fortunately they were two so I bought you one ."
"Girl am tired of seeing of seeing your boring life ,we need to spice it up." She said with a mischievous smile on her face .Here we go again ,for the past two months she has been trying to make me go out with someone .But it always ended so bad ,the thing that she seems not to get is that me and love don't get along .
"Jennie you need to stop ,it is not working, its actually a waste of time for the both of us ." I complained "No babes it will be different this time, just listen to me first then you will tell me what you have decided later " she said .
"You remember Justin right ?" She asked ."Isn't he the senior boy you dated last year ?"
"Yap that's him what do you think about me giving you his number ." she said ."Are you by any chance insane ?"I nearly screamed. We are best friends for goodness sake and best friends don't date each others ex's.
"Fallon ,yes I dated him but it wasn't that serious and we are not that sure that you will date him ,he is actually a hard nut to crack .Maybe you can just socialize with him and if it goes well even become great friends ." she said
