My favorite hello

Note: Hi! This contains spoilers from the newer chapters so please stop reading now if you do not want anything spoiled. 

This is my first fan fic so please bear with me. For the story's sake, lets pretend Dabi did not leave his house hold till he was around 18. Right now, Y/N and Dabi are both 17!

Everyday was nearly the same and I thought today would be no different. I would usually get up, get dressed for work, leave my one bedroom apartment, and walk to the convenience store I worked at. Little did I know that today would change my life permanently.

"Hey boss", I said smiling as you walked in. I quickly tied on your apron and started organizing the mess left the previous night. "Good Afternoon Y/N. I have to ask you something", greeted the old man. "What's up?", you say. He grabbed my hand and kindly asked, "Will you please take the night shift? I know I can trust you, and I can't stay tonight." "Of course!" I say with a smile, hiding the fact I did not want to. 

Hours passed and eventually it was five in the morning which meant closing time.  As I came out from the back I heard a person come in. I peeked over and saw a boy around my age with white hair. He certainly looked intimidating, but you couldn't shake the warm feeling in your cheeks.

"Oh shit he's cute" I murmured to yourself. "Is anyone in here?" He called out. You shuffle slowly over only to find yourself on the ground after tripping. I squealed as I fell and the boy's cerulean blue eyes stared down at me. "Well well, look what we got here. Hello there.", He smiled, as he lent a hand to help you up. As he reached down I could notice the strong smell of smoke coming from him. 'What happened to him', I thought to myself while standing up. "Thank you-" I paused not knowing his name. "It's Touya and no problem", he said. "My name is Y/N. What are you looking for at this time?" I asked. "Anything that will help out with this", he pulled up his sleeves revealing the extent of his wounds. I gasped at the sight then asked, "How did you get these and why aren't you at the hospital right now?". As he emitted a blue flame from his pointer finger he said, "Lets just say I got one hell of a quirk". 'He dodged my second question, but I won't press it any further' I thought. "Well let me help bandage you up" I said while walking over to where the gauze and peroxide was located at. I motioned him over to sit on the stool I grabbed and began to clean his wounds then bandaged him. "Thanks... Y/N" he said as I finished. I looked straight at his eyes. 'He smells like smoke, it's kind of nice' I thought. I stood up and said, "It's no problem, don't be a stranger okay. I know you probably won't tell me what's going on but I won't push it". We both walked toward the exit. I lingered at the door watching the white hair boy walk off into the night.  I eventually finished closing up the store than headed home.

The next day I came into work at the same time. "Hello Y/N", the old man chirped. "Hello Boss" you smiled. "I appreciate you taking over last night and I saw the store was perfect while opening up this morning. Would you mind taking over the night shifts for now on?" "Yes, I would not mind that at all sir." I accepted in hopes to seeing Touya again. 

Nightfall came again as well as the boy. I was excited to see his face again but tried my best to contain it. "Hello there. Here to see your favorite person?" I giggled. He smiled and raised his arm to show a small bag he was holding. "I just wanted to say thanks for last night", Touya said while he handed me the bag. I took the bag and said, "You didn't have to. Honestly you saved me from some boredom at work haha". Touya blushed and scratched the back of his head. "Well maybe I can visit you more often..." he paused then asked "..that is if you are okay with it." I just grinned and nodded. Later when he had left I opened up the bag to see a package of small lollipops. I smiled, closed down the store, and walked home.

Weeks passed and Touya came just about every night around 3:00 am to visit you. We spent our time talking and sharing lollipops when I wasn't bandaging him up. I looked forward to working every night to see the cerulean eyed boy. I always thought it was a tad odd that he only ever came at night but I never questioned it. I simply just enjoyed my time with him. We had grown closer and closer. "Hey Touya, look here!" you said. The boy looked over and we took two Polaroids together. "I like it" he snickered as he took the one where you forgotten to take your lollipop out of your mouth. 'Oh god, I think I'm falling in love' you thought to yourself. Everything he did always gave me butterflies. 'But I don't even know a thing about him aside from most surface things' I thought to myself. 'Better to stay friends so I don't ruin what we have'. I had decided to leave things at that.
