Shattered

You look in the mirror
And all you see is a broken girl
Shattered.
They try to fix you
But they thought only the outside mattered.
So you sit there
Letting them fix what they think looks wrong
But even though the outside changed,
The inside is still the same.
Your still Broken
Your still Sad
Your still Living
You still pleasing everyone else but Yourself
And EVERYONE thinks that your fine
But really on the INSIDE your falling apart
Because behind your smile your heart is hurting
Behind your laugh your falling apart into pieces.
And they scatter across the floor
Because you think your not good enough
But looking in the mirror.
Your still Shattered.
Your afraid of displeasing someone
So you tear yourself apart to be like them
People ask you if your okay
You make up an excuse and say your tired.
But your not lying
Your tired of hurting
Tired of thinking that in order to feel something real,
You have to hurt yourself
But even though it may feel good for a few minutes
It isn't permanent.
You can eat that meal
You can put that razor down
You can survive 
And you will be okay.
Because your still going to be shattered
And over time, you can be saved
Even though you may think that think that this is the end
And there is no way that you can come back from this
You can
And you Will
Just remember 
Yo may be shattered
But you are more amazing than you know. 
You are stronger than you think
And you are Braver than you act
