The Angelic order

Prologue

It all started when a family named the Archers were on the way to the mother's sister's house. The whole family had these gifts that were unique and there were a limited number of people with these kinetic abilities. The mother's name is Kali, and the father's name is Ryan and the daughter's name is Ray. As they rounded the corner on the last bit of road to Selena's house, Ray noticed a suspicious looking car following them. Kali looked behind her at Ray and then at the man in the suspicious car following them. She instantly recognized him. Kali jabs Ryan's shoulder without saying a word, Ryan knew exactly what she meant. He put his foot down on the gas pedal, tires screeching as they gripped the ash fault, hurdling the car forward, much faster than before.

The man in the car realized that they were driving faster, so he had to act quickly and he made his driver, Artemis drive faster. He leaned out the window, extended his fat arm, and Ray saw a beam of purple, shimmery light starting slowly coming from his hand.

Ray was frozen in fear. She watched as the shimmery beam of light hit her dad through the mirrors. Ray, expecting her dad to react, watched as her dad drove straight through a guard rail towards a steep cliff. Kali realized what was happening and jumped into the back seat. She unbuckled Ray's seatbelt and with a spell or two, opened the car door, thrusting Ray out. Ray hit her head on the car door armrest. Kali winced as she focused her mind for her final spell. As Ray fell, a large barrier bubble formed under her. The barrier grew all around her, as it touched her head, she fell soundly and sweetly asleep.

Ray found herself surrounded by the barrier, tucked neatly into the top of a moon chalice. Looking up she saw a circle of flying crescent moon elephants. Out of the mist in the middle, her mothers face appears. She seems far off, but closer than ever before. A familiar feeling rushes over Ray as she sees her mother's beautiful face, a feeling of responsibility come across her as she heard her mother say, "Restore the power of the Thunderbirds It is your only hope." What Ray did not witness, was the villainous Sean Taylor using his life-force manipulation on Ray's parents to kidnap them.

Everything was in chaos, and Ray was in danger of getting hurt, so Venus Williams, Kali's best friend, saved Ray's life when the force-field broke. Venus ran to Selena's house to give Ray to Selena and Helios since they had custody of Ray in case her parents died or disappeared. When Venus came back to the scene of the crime, the police were already there, and the police thought there was an epic battle on the road but they were wrong, then Venus ran back to her home where her family was and her husband's whereabouts is still unknown. Ray had an older brother but he left when Ray started showing kinetic abilities.
