"Are you sure this is his?"

"Of course, Shigaraki, he had it with him, and it looks personal."

"So you want to keep him."

"He could be of great importance, Shigaraki."

Numb, that is all Izuku felt at that moment.

Knowing what he felt he could still hear what was happening around him and soon he knew that he needed to know where he was.

When he opened his eyes, he was on a couch in what seemed like a rundown old bar.

He thought that he would accomplish his death but instead, he survived.

He was broken.

He can't even die right.

The moment that he woke up he saw two people in front of him.

One of them was a nicely suited man but with what Izuku assumed was a quirk that resulted in him having a purple mist-like body, and a young man only a few years older than Izuku wearing a blue hoodie.

He could see that the older figure was the one who discovered him and he guest that he brought him here to ensure he was safe.

Why he would save him made him question why he would save him?

"One and a half hour."

The green teen raised his head in confusion to this, "what?"

The shadowy figure sighed, "the amount of time you were out, one and a half hours, time in which you were out, no permanent damage has occurred, we had you healed by a friend."

He was confused when he saw them but then the hooded figure was walking towards him carrying something, it was his hero journal.

Deku could sense fear the closer the hooded figure neared him.

From that moment on the hooded man asked, "This is yours right?"

He handed Izuku his notebook with all the hero information he recorded back to him and continued speaking, "yes."

The hooded figure then looked confused.

From that response, he began to scratch his own neck processing this as well as thinking about the actions of what this boy had done, "why would someone with this notebook decide to end their life?"

Izuku could see in his eyes that it was a question he did not ask anyone, but he guessed due to the inside of his journal it would spark thoughts on others.

He didn't know why but he felt like answering the question he asked as he felt a sense of similarity between them.

"I wanted to be a hero, but someone like me can't be a hero. I'm quirkless." Izuku was nearly brought to tears but then furthered his answer, "everyone didn't believe in me, my mom, my friend, I even asked the greatest hero, but even he didn't believe in me."

The hooded mask sat on a nearby chair thinking of what he said and without thinking he asked, "if you had a quirk would you still be a hero?"

Izuku stared at him, could he have been a hero with a quirk, yes but in truth, it would only result in the same response.

Only those with quirks could be heroes, those without one would result in being nothing but pariahs within society, everything was the same as what the number one hero said to him.

The green teen knew his response, "it would still prove his point, I can't be a hero without a quirk."

"Then why not be something else." The man then stood up from the chair and stared at him pulling his hand out, "this hero abandoned you, left you, didn't even rescue you, well that isn't what a hero is supposed to be now, is it? I am Tomura Shigaraki, and you could be something else."

Knowing this individual he feared what this could be yet he felt as if rejecting him could leave him within a rock and a bigger rock.

Accepting would be a better response to the question, yet that isn't the only reason for which he felt doing this.

Izuku didn't know why but he trusted him and saw his presence as a good thing, something which was warming him, like family, as well as giving him something which could help him.

So in the end he agreed to be with him.

Izuku agreed with him.

Even though it hurts he stood up he still went for the hand, he agreed to something which he couldn't walk back on.
