The wind whispered through the dark,empty trees like a warning in a foreign language. Winter was coming, and with winter came darkness. We werent that poor but we definitely werent rich. Winters for us were basically just a soft porn orgy where we all needed to cuddle up by the fire for warmth.
We lived in a tiny cabin in this small town in the woods. There wasn't much to do besides explore the surrounding woods and in the winter there isnt much to see either. However, there was the secret place only I knew of in the woods that was a Safe haven for my sanity.
Well, that is what I thought until I got there and saw 15 people standing in a circle staring at me. I ran right over to the side and tried to hide behind a tree but i think that I was too late. I felt this way because as soon as I turned the corner they were all gone.
I looked around once more in order to see if it was really all clear before I ran home to try to escape. Whatever the fuck that was that i just saw, scared me shitless. I ran and ran until I made it home or atleast that is what i thought. I walked into our kitchen and we actually had food , and i felt the air and it was actually hot. I ran upstairs out of breath as I have been running for most of the night but I had to go see what else had changed.
My room had an awesome new bed but completely different decorations as well, but that was all that changed. My family wasn't there, and i had no idea where they could've gone. So i decided to wait and see if they knew about all these changes. I saw the door begin to open, I could see my mothers foot slowly crossing the threshold. However, I wasnt greeted with a "Hello" but instead i received a "Who the fuck are you !! " "Get the Gun Monica!" As I tried to explain myself and who I was. BANG!! The room paused in silence as I stood in shock. I began to feel cold as if i was reversing back to my old life. I had no idea what was happening until I saw the blood.
