"Remus wake up! Wake up!" lexi shouted while shaking Remus to try to get him out of bed. "Lexi! Its too early to get up, let me sleep" Remus said sleepily with his eyes still half shut. "But our Hogwarts letters have arrived!" lexi screamed with a huge smile on her face.

Lexi begged Remus to get up but half an hour into her begging he ended up going back to sleep. After an hour of trying to get Remus out of bed, lexi finally gave up and made her way back downstairs. She decided that she wasn't waiting any longer and was going to open hers without her twin brother next to her on one of the best days of her life.

"what do you think you're doing alexis?" lexis head shot up when she heard her brother standing at the bottom of the staircase with a disappointed look on his face.

"remus never calls me Alexis unless hes angry with me" she thought to herself. Lexi started to stutter, as she didn't know what to say to remus. "I didn't think you would be downstairs yet" Lexi looked down at the half opened letter in her hand and felt like she had let her brother down as they had both been looking forward to this day for a long time and i felt like i had ruined it for us both.

"lexi?" i slowly looked up to see remus walking over to me and carefully reaching for my hand. he slowly took my hand in his and sat down beside me. he picked his letter up off of the table, looked over at me and started to open it. "well, are you not going to join me?" remus asked me with a confused look on his face.

i finally started to open my letter with my twin brother sat next to me. i knew that these next seven years would be some of our best.

A few days later, me and remus and our parents went to diagon alley to buy all of our school supplies for the first year of Hogwarts. when we finally made it to eyelops owl emporium as our parents, hope and lyall, tole me and remus that we could have an owl between us so that we can keep in touch with them.

when me and remus looked at each other, we both knew what owl we wanted. when our father asked us what owl we wanted, we both looked at him and said a barn owl at the same time. we finally left diagon alley and returned home after a long day shopping for school supplies.

A couple of weeks had passed since the twins had been to diagon alley, and the first of September was coming closer and closer. Lexi was getting very excited, a lot more excited than remus which Lexi found quite confusing as he was vey excited when he opened his letter just a couple of weeks ago.

"Remus what's wrong?" lexi finally asked her brother who seemed to be very quiet.

remus didn't have to tell  lexi what was wrong, as she had figured it out since it was a full moon only 3 days ago.

remus finally spoke up and of course lexi was right, knowing that it was about his 'condition'.

remus was worried that if he made friends and they found out about his condition then they would leave him because they might think that he was a freak.

"Remus, listen to me" lexi started while remus slowly looked back up at her. "i knew you were worried about this without telling me. you need to understand that if they do leave you then you'll always have me."

remus started to smile at this statement and it was the first times id seen him smile for the first time in nearly two weeks. "thanks lexi, i love you twin" "i love you too twin"

ever since they were both little, they always called each other 'twin' as they couldn't say each others names. since then it has always stuck with them.

Quickly, the first of September came and they were both very excited to get to hogwarts.

once they left the house to get to kings cross station in london to get onto platform 9 3/4, the twins wouldn't stop talking about what house they would both be put in or if they would be separated. remus started to panic, as he thought that if they were separated he would struggle with his monthly transformations.
