Harry sighed putting his head in his hands, He was sitting at the lake by the burrow. He needed to get away from the chaos that was the Weasley family. It was two years after the war had ended, and his life wasn't slowing down. There were expectations coming from everyone about his next move in life.  Marry Ginny, become a professional quidditch player. No one had asked what he wanted in life. The only person who didn't have expectations was his best friend Hermione Granger. 

She had been his best friend, and he was in love with her. He had been in love with her for as long as he could remember. He just went along with what people wanted because they had been the only family he had known. He knew Hermione was close, he could smell her perfume. "Sickle for your thoughts Harry?" she sat next to him on the dock. "I want to live my life. I want to start feeling like I am finally in control Mi, I have been going crazy trying to please everyone else and for once I want to live out my dreams. The world I want to make." He ran his hand through his already messy hair that fell in front of his green eyes. "I don't care if they call us crazy, but run away with me Hermione, you're the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with. The one who has never abandoned me." Harry saw a smile spread across the face of the woman he loved. 

"Just say you'll bring me wherever you're going and I am on your side Harry. Always." He leaned in and kissed her like he had been wanting to for years. Nothing could make him give up his dream of making her his wife. They held hands and went into the burrow come hell or high water. It was them against the world. Forever.
