I want to share some very personal stories from fans, who just want to show their love for Elvis because he always showed us how important we were to him. They want to share how he impacted their lives and their connection to him.

So I hope you'll enjoy these love letters.

'Even though we're apart, we keep you near us.

We're not alone at night with you in our thoughts.

We'll always have the love you write and sing to us.'

E,
you have touched my heart in so many ways. your music, your smile, just your whole being are something that lights my life and makes me happy every day. some people idolize you and think that you were the most perfect person to ever walk on Earth but I know you weren't. you were just a human like the rest of us, just living life to your best ability just with a spotlight on you. even with the world's eyes on you, it didn't phase you from being kind and treating your fans with the utmost respect. not many celebrities today can live up to the standard you set for yourself. you took the time to sign autographs and smile for pictures when you were tired and had a long day. your love for your fans and others is something so astronomical that I cannot comprehend it. it's something I will always be in awe of every day.

your generous heart always makes me so happy to be a fan of yours, you literally have cars away, bought houses for people, and gave millions to charity. that is something that I aspire to do in my own life. being able to give away something to enrich someone else's life is such a powerful ideal to have. I cannot express how much you mean to me. I am brought to tears as I am writing this just to say how amazingly blessed I am to have found you and to have learned so much about your life. knowing that you've been gone for 43 years seems so wrong. I feel like you're still here with us, still at Graceland just hanging out. your presence is still felt not only by me but by the millions of other fans around the world.
you've touched my life as no other could. I love you so much

I first discovered Elvis on a hot day in June 2019. I was casually scrolling on Facebook, when a video of "Return to Sender" from "Girls! Girls! Girls" showed up on my timeline. It was love at first sight. I was immediately hooked. Elvis's face & voice immediately captured my attention & mesmerized me. So much so, that I went straight to YouTube to watch more videos about him. From then on, my love & research about Elvis- the man, grew more & more. I've spent the last year devoting many hours, trying to learn more about him. The more that I learn, the more that my love grows. He continues to inspire & teach me new things every day. Although he has many faults, I think all the good things he's done, still outweigh the bad. He's a very misunderstood man, and it's been so fun doing my best to truly understand him. He is the most complex & fascinating man I have come across. His kindness, generosity, perseverance, God-given talent, and humility will always inspire me.

Elvis Aaron Presley ......was sensational.
He was a human being. He was a man (in my opinion) with the biggest heart, a very humble man. He always wanted the best for the people he loved and cared about. He was a fair man, if he saw something or someone not being treated right he would do something about it. If someone laid a hand on someone he loved, he would protect them.
I am 28 years old, and Elvis is truly the first man I have ever loved deep in my heart. I can feel the love in my gut. He is the most beautiful man to ever walk this earth. A perfect, honest laugh, smile, cheekbones, beautiful hair, and a great body, with broad shoulders. He was a generous man, a smart guy, and he believed in God.
Even though he has passed on, he is still with us. I know a lot has changed at Graceland since he died, but every time I'm there I can feel his spirit and I know why he loved that place. It's like a second home to me, and I understand why he loved Memphis. He was a man who never forgot where he came from. He helped a lot of people, even if they were strangers. That's what I love most about him. Elvis had his faults, just like me, we all do. That's what makes us human.
We make mistakes and we learn from them. Just because you're an entertainer and a public face doesn't mean you can't do something wrong... I love that we can see that Elvis was only human. As he sings in "Trouble," he's just flesh and blood.
Even though I didn't know Elvis personally, a lot of things are clear to me, true or false, and one thing is for sure - he was taken advantage of by some people around him. It's amazing, so many years after he left us, to see how important he still is. No other artist has the kind of respect and love we have for Elvis so many years later. I don't think any other artist will be remembered the way Elvis is, even when he's gone. We celebrate his life every day, but especially on his birthday and the week before he died. Who else has that kind of celebration every year? - No one. Elvis was a man with a forever broken heart.
The loss and grief of his mother haunted him for the rest of his life. It was a part of him, and something he never got over... ... When you lose your greatest love, your best friend, your safe zone in life, it does something to you. It changes you forever as a person. That's what people have to think about. Elvis loved the company of women around him, that's where he could be himself. With the guys, he had to be tough and funny and not too emotional. To some people, that's just a guy thing. With women, he could show his true feelings, connect with them as he did with his mother. He could relate to them. I think he felt less lonely around women (some women).
Throughout history, we know that Elvis had a lot of people around him, both friends and family, who lived at Graceland. He liked to have people around so he didn't feel lonely, but at the same time, when he had people over, he often went upstairs to his private area. Upstairs he had women who came up just to talk. If he wanted to go downstairs to the kitchen, he used the stairs that had direct access to the kitchen so his guest couldn't see him. It's actually a bit sad to think of him hiding in his own house. It would have been fine if he told people to go home, but he didn't.
He was too good.

Las Vegas.

I find myself currently writing this at 6.30 am because no matter what hour it is, he is always on my mind. Elvis Presley, I had heard his name before, I had seen his face in numerous places before, yes, he was somehow in my subconscious just like in anybody else's, but in that city, my perspective changed.
I remember the way he made me feel, the warmness and indescribable comfort when I decided to play that song on repeat during my stay. At that moment, I did not want to stop, although I could have. That was when I started noticing him everywhere, buildings, stores. His face stamped in nearly every object you could think of, not letting me enjoy the beauty of The Strip along with its hotels. That was what least worried me though, what truly concerned me was that he indeed was everywhere with me.
My thoughts had become fixed on him. For a second, I did think, what have I done to myself? Am I actually falling in love with him? Or am I being indoctrinated by this city? In a way, both were correct. What is that I like so much in him? What is this attraction?

My simple guess would be to say that he has this 'something' No one can truly pinpoint what it is. For me, I know it was a mixture of his unique charisma and the mystery that involves him. That was what made me pursue him, to get to know the real him. I was sure he was not a dull face on a vinyl record or a pretty voice in an overplayed song. I desired to know more about him, and with every little thing I learned, I got more fascinated with him. Consequently, I fell even more in love with him. It has turned into an infatuation, which slightly scares me. I know it will be painful. I have had to face plenty of times the tough reality that he is not around anymore. On the other hand, I am truly fortunate I discovered him and glad it all happened in Las Vegas.
