Fear, a word I thought I knew it's meaning but I didn't. I understood it's meaning as soon as I experienced it. I had goosebumps all over my body. There was no where to run, no where to hide. Let me share for you a story people find amusing as they say ghosts ain't real. I won't lie I also thought the same thing.

It all started when my dad got transferred. We had to leave everything behind and start over. Had to leave my friends 😔. It was so devastating, well that's what I thought at that particular time. So we got to our new house. It was the perfection of perfect. It was a double story house painted peach. It had a garden of roses on the sides, an orchard on the far left, surrounded by green grass, and a lake a few meters away from the house. The moment I laid my eyes on this wonderful place, I named it Earthly Eden.

I was so excited, I just couldn't wait to brag about the new house to my friends. We unpacked our boxes and trust me, unpacking those things is the most boring and hard thing to do.

We had our boring supper and went to bed, then a video call popped up my phone " Hey Stacey, hope you having the time of your life there" Gena said ironically " Yeah, yeah. You should see the wicked witch next to our house" I said " We missed you and Cole Miles dumped Lizzy" my mouth dropped. The power couple broke up, I missed school for one day and something so incredible happens. " Wow! so Cole is now single?" I asked " T, even if the chances of you dating Cole are let me see, uhm, 1% , it's still impossible for the two of you to date. Do you really think you two would ever date?" Gena said laughing historically. " Yeah, that one percent is all I need, especially now that him and Lizzy are over. Anyways, what happened?" I asked "Cole found Connor and her kissing." OMG! Conner Miler, Cole's best friend kissed his girlfriend. Now I've heard it all. "You must be joking. I never expected that, wow!He must be really hurt. Him and Connor were like family. Why would he do that." " I know right. Everyone is so pissed. Alright, talk to you tomorrow then. Love you chow" Then the screen went black. I checked at the time and it was 11p.m. I tried sleeping but the thought of Cole being single kept me awake.

It was twelve midnight when I felt something on top of me. I couldn't breathe, I felt lifeless. A loud voice which sent chills down my spine shouted " This is my child little one, you don't wanna know what I do to Intruders. I wonder how pretty you would look when covered in blood"the voice said, then laughed historically. Man I got so scared, I actually pissed my pants. "What is it little one, why are you scared. You know you look so cute with those watery eyes." After that there was a sudden pause which made my blood to rush. "Oh no, did you just.... Little one, I think your ass did something you couldn't do. It spoke for you" then he burst into a horrifying laugh. I then felt like I have woken up from a terrifying dream. Was all of it really a dream,I couldn't tell. Was it, could it have been. I quickly shook my head "there is no such thing as ghosts. They don't exist"

I went to take a shower. I slipped myself in clean clothes and changed the bedding. When I tried to sleep again, the alarm clock rang.
"Perfect" I said
