"Sweetheart" Nagito said while looking at you with a smile "are you doing okay? You are staring at the wall again"
You look at him and shake your head back into reality "y-yeah I'm fine"
You two are walking side by side while it was snowing outside, it is early in the morning and you are on the way to a coffee shop.
"You know" Nagito stops in his tracks "you can tell me anything, you don't have to withhold your emotions. You are my 4 leaf clover, my last hope." His eyes turn into swirls " Anything and everything my lucky clover" he laughs crazily. You look at him with a troubled look, but, you have to deal with his crazy ass every day so you just deal with it. You kiss him on the cheek.
"Oh my, you see, I don't know what this feeling is, this warm fuzzy feeling inside me, whenever you do that" he blushes
He looks at your hand "I-is is okay, if I hold it?"
You look at him sort of confused but you realize he is referring to your hand and not what you were originally thinking of, so you blush out of embarrassment and ever so gracefully reach for his hand as both his and yours intertwine.
Nagito sighs, a puff of warm air comes from his mouth into the cold air, he smiles then kisses your cheek softly. You smile then you walk into the coffee shop. You order your drinks and sit down at a table nearby the cold frosted window. You take a sip of what you ordered and smiles because it felt warm. You look at Nagito as he looks outside.
"It's beautiful outside isn't it? It gives me hope for the nearby future that there will be more hope over despair. Of course, you are my hope and you are my everything but this shows there will be hope in the world"
You look at him and smile and nod at what he is saying, but on the inside you are just silently dying inside because he is talking about hope again. For the 100th time.
Either way, you are just ecstatic that he is this enthusiastic about something. You just wish he would talk more about how much he loves you, yet he can't describe much of "love" yet.
You stare outside as he goes off about hope, he snaps you back into reality as he takes a finger and puts it underneath your chin to get your attention. "Spacing off again? What is going on?" He said
"I-it's just my ex, they are bothering me again. The other day they threatened to kidnap my parents if I don't get back together with them." You look at your drink and fidget with it a bit with anxiety.
Nagito looks at you confused "why didn't you tell me this sooner? I could've tracked them down and tied them up and tortured them in my basement for you" he smiled, he slid his hand into yours
"I just don't want you to get hurt, or even get yourself arrested. I just wish things could be more peaceful."
"But it has been more peaceful with me around right? I'm your hope right?" He said with swirls in his eyes
You nod at him "Yes, you are my hope, and being brutally honest, not so much. I am great full that you are protective of me but-" he cuts you off
"No butts" he puts his finger on your lips for you to be quiet. "I will take care of this scenario. I am your lover, of course. Where does he live? Is he at home right now? I'm just going to pay him a little.... visit" he smirks with rage in his eyes.
"You won't leave me alone until I tell you so I'm not going to waste my time" you told him where he lives and what his schedule is. "Go find Hajime and stay with him for awhile, I will find you after the deed is done" You both move away from the table, he kisses you on the lips. His lips were soft and warm like always, like how his grip was soft and careful on your skin whenever he holds your hand or touches your face. " stay safe, my clover"
You smile as you watched him walk off, waving at you. He put on a mask and started walking the direction toward your ex's house. You quickly try to find the direction towards Hajimes house, but you end up bumping into him on the way. "Oh hey Hajime, Nagito had to go take care of some business and told me to hang out with you at your place for awhile so I'm safe, is that okay?"
He nods "Sure, I was just coming back from the store with some snacks if you want some. Nagito can't touch them, you can" he laughs
You laugh too then you follow along his side.
Impatiently waiting for Nagito to finish whatever he is doing.
