I made the short walk to the room Josh and Charlie were staying in, once again knocking before going inside. Both boys were up to a certain degree, as Charlie was sitting on the floor looking at his phone and Josh was sitting in his bed, staring up at the ceiling.
"Good morning!" I greet them with a smile, drawing their attention to me. They both return my smile and say good morning in some way before starting to move around some more.
I head out once I know they're both up and head back over to my room after peaking my head into Schlatt and Carson's room to see that they were both up as well. I get myself ready the rest of the way, finding a cute outfit to wear and adding some final touches to my hair and makeup to make sure I was ready for the day. By the time that I was completely done and had all of my things together, it was 6:11, so I decided to head downstairs and make sure we had all of the things we would need for the day. I grabbed a spare backpack and filled it with little snacks, water bottles, some sunscreen and some of my personal stuff just so I wouldn't lose it. We were supposed to have our own little break room on the second floor of the convention center so we could keep our stuff safe while we were out on the floor, and so we could escape the crowds if we needed to, but I wanted to make sure that we had a little emergency bag with us at all times too.
Before long, the boys start to file downstairs in one huge group, tripping over each other as they did. They all ran around the lower level of the house for a little bit before we all stood together to talk about the plan for the morning.
"Ok so we're going to have Schlatt and Ted drive this time," Carson starts out, "and we have a creator introduction panel around 9, a meet and greet at 11, a lunchclub panel at 1 and another meet and greet at 2:30." He reminds us. I write everything down in my phone to make sure I don't forget anything.
"Oh, and also," Cooper speaks up, "we leave the convention around 4 or 5, go back to the airbnb and then the misfits will pick us up in their party bus around 7, when the after party officially starts. We'll probably need to call ubers to get back here at the end of the night though." He runs a hand through his hair and yawns, checking the time on his phone. Everyone finishes getting their things ready to go and we split into groups for the ride there.
I of course force my way into a spot in Schlatt's car, along with Carson, Travis, and Cooper. Because Carson had longer legs, he had priority seating in the front, so the other three of us squished into the back row. I was practically on top of Cooper, who had somehow gotten the middle seat, but it was ok because I helped him beat Travis in some game pigeon games. Schlatt and Carson argued in the front seats and yelled at us when we got too loud. Every now and then I would look up and meet eyes with Schlatt in the mirror, or he would blatantly look over his shoulder at me. Each time he did it, one of us would remind him to keep his eyes on the road. At this point, there was no way that the boys hadn't realized there was something going on between us, but none of them had said anything about it yet.
The car ride seemed rather short, and before long the five of us shuffled out of the car and made our way into the convention center. Security almost didn't let Carson inside because he left his pass at the house, but we eventually went in when one of the coordinators came to help us out. We met up with the other half of our group at our room on the second floor. It was around 7, and everyone was complaining about how hungry they were.
"Now that we're checked in, we can go get food as long as we're all back by 7:45 or so." Carson reminds us, taking a seat at the conference table in the room.
"So who's going to get us food?" Cooper asks, putting a hand on his stomach. Everyone stays silent and looks around the room.
"I guess I can go, considering that I would never want any of you to drive my car." Schaltt eventually offers. Some of the boys cheer for him before bombarding him with orders. I start to write down orders in a note on my phone to try and help out. Without having to say anything, Schlatt and I both knew that I would be going with him to get food for everyone. It would have been out of character for me to not go with him at this point. We eventually get everyone's orders down and head back out to Schlatt's car, ignoring Ted and Carson teasing us for going everywhere together. When we checked in, security gave everyone passes that let us get into the center from a back entrance so we could avoid people waiting for general admissions when we came back. We hopped into his car and chatted aimlessly while trying to find the nearest starbucks.
