“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed.” Mahatma Gandhi

This quote represents rich people being greedy and selfish. Also, that people want everything but, they forget that the world is more than just a place. It provides needs not wants for people and animals. This quote also relates to a book called The Hoot. This is because in the book they are building a pancake house called Mother Paula’s pancake house and they try to forget that there are living owls at the construction site. Also the head of the project is a man that knows all about the owl’s habitat there but he avoids it and doesn’t care. This is called greed and selfish which reflect back on the quote by Mahatma Gandhi.
