Digimon: Post (on hiatus)

Chapter 1: How it starts

*BOOM*

"Emilia duck for cover!!" a young male sounding voice shouts from a distance and quickly gets a response.

*BOOM*

"Right, you too Rex" that young girl named Emilia responds with, but all they can think is "how did it end up like THIS?!?"

As that setting fades we see a school coming into our view

*Bell rings*

"Yes finally school is over it's finally summer time am I right?" This young boy around the age of 13 asks another but receives no response so he asks again "am I right".

"Don't leave me hanging" he asks to get another's attention.

Another young boy around the same age Finally responds "fine, you're right. Happy?".

"God Rex why do you have to be such a buzzkill. You've kinda been a little off today, now that I think about it." This boy starts to wander away in his thoughts until "ah hah you're upset cus Kiana rejected you aren't you".

Seemingly annoyed, Rex responds " look Jonny, it's the street intersection so I'll go to the train station to get home and you can go home that way." and takes a left turn to walk away. We re-enter Rex's perspective when he gets into the subway, when his train arrives he gets on but this being a subway train in New York he definitely was not expecting that it was empty. Surprised and confused, Rex instinctively walked through the other cars until it hit another stop but no doors opened and then the train continued to move. As Rex feels like the amount of cars on this train is somehow infinite he finally sees another person, a girl in fact, she seems familiar to him so he starts walking towards her. She sees him coming and walks away from him, he starts to speed walk, she follows shortly after, he then begins to jog, and she runs, so he chases her wanting to know what's going on.

A minute or so later he's finally got her cornered between two seats and a wall so he finally asks "who are you and what do you know about this weird train?" The girl looks at him with an expression that says she has the intention to fight to the death, but she does respond.

"My name is Emilia, my last name is none of your business, and I know nothing about this train" she looks at him cockily and then asks "you?".

"I am Rex, last name none of Your business and I also know nothing about this train" but as he finishes his sentence the train comes to a halt and they fall back and roll into a questionable positioning with Rex on top of Emilia, she with complete instinct kicks him where it hurts and then they get back up. "I'd like a warning next time" he says while showing immense amounts of pain.

This is when the doors finally open and they both walk outside into an empty grassy field that looks as if it goes on for miles, in shock they turn around to head back into the train. Until they realize the train is gone, there aren't even any tracks, it's as if the train never existed? As both Rex and Emilia question their circumstances they see something in the distance, it seems small from where it is relative to them but at a closer look it might be as big as them maybe bigger but they also see it coming towards them and realize it's a giant prairie dog with metal claws.

"run" Rex silently says to Emilia who couldn't hear him until he says

"RUUUUUN!!!!!!" They start dashing away but the prairie dog is getting close and they also see more of them coming, but then they fall into a hole. In shock Emilia asks Rex "Where are we right now?" And close to them they hear a voice respond "the digital world" in unison the two scream

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" As well as them both fainting.

Rex wakes up next to lots of rocks and Emilia drinking water from a leaf and asks "what happened" this is when Emilia informs him that they are in a place called The Digital World and the creatures that live here are called Digimon short for digital monsters, she also tells him about the one who helped them out which was a digimon who gave her all of this information when she woke up "oh here he comes" Emilia says delightfully. From a dark corner emerges a toddler sized bee-like creature with claws on its hands and feet as well as a dulled stinger.

"Hi there, human my name is Honeybeemon nice to meet you" in disbelief that a bee is talking to him Rex replies.

"hi my name is Rex, can you give us any extra info on where we are?"

Looking saddened Honeybeemon nods his head no and informs Rex that he gave all he knew but welcomes them to stay as long as they'd like but that's when...

*LOUD RAID MUSIC STARTS TO PLAY*

"This home is property of the M.P.D. And we are here to search for any contraband items in this home" a few Digimon like grey rabbits in police uniforms say as they start to search the home one comes across Honeybeemon, Rex, and Emilia while beginning to stare.

"Who are they?" the Digimon says with an intent full look

Honeybeemon responds "I found them unconscious outside earlier so I took them in" the Digimon looks content with that answer and when the search is over they all leave and request that Honeybeemon's new guests come visit the police department.

"Who were those guys?" Emilia says with a questioning tone.

Honeybeemon informs them that those were police officers around here they do contraband checks monthly to see if you have any, if you do you'll go to jail, otherwise you're safe from interrogations, as well as the Gazimon being the majority of the force.

Intently Rex says "I need to know more about this place so" he stands up from the floor he was sitting on and continues " lets go to the police department".

And so both Rex and Emilia left their new friend in search of answers but they might not be satisfied with the ones they get.

Once Rex and Emilia had found their way to the Department they realize there's an m what does it stand for they ask out loud to themselves and one of the officers hear so the Gazimon officer tells them

"It stands for midnight" as he smirks and walks away. From there Rex and Emilia look for answers and split up within the building.

"Excuse me but can you help me?"

"Is there anyone who can answer my questions?"

"Who knows the most about this world?"

Questions Rex and Emilia asked several people several times yet no one could answer until Rex saw something and got Emilia back with him

There was a door and it read "lab studies do not Disturb" so Rex and Emilia open the door slightly to see a Gazimon using a whip on a small orange Digimon with a white face and a black outward curved horn and so They try to close the door silently as to not be caught. But then Emilia trips and makes a loud thud noise

"Hey!!" This gets the guards attention and ends up getting them caught and locked up. When they find themselves in a cell with two very important Digimon.

One of the Digimon in the cell was a small white seal-like creature with claws and asked "why'd you guys get locked up?"

Emilia responds "none of your business."

Feeling bad Rex tells this Digimon what they saw and then they hear the other Digimon a ladybug like creature with Spike like things on its back say
"we're here for contraband but they, luckily for us didn't take it away"

Rex in Shock asks "can I see it" and so this Digimon shows it to them and these items are small palm sized plus like things with screens in the center and what looks like a cell stick, sticking directly out the corner inward of the top and left of the plus.

The Digimon introduce themselves the ladybug goes first "I am Tentomon trust me I'm stronger than I look" he says with confidence and so the seal goes

"Hiya I'm Gomamon I'm kinda a goofball but wait till you see these rock hard abs" he says jokingly

Then Rex and Emilia introduce themselves this is when the plus like things start to glow and Tentomon states that these are called Digivices and only glow when a Digimon has found their human partner Tentomon walks near Rex inch by inch and the Digivice starts to glow brighter and brighter with each step and Gomamon walks towards Emilia meter by meter and the Digivice glows brighter ever so slightly every step until they are at the brightest they can be, and so this is where it begins.
