Forever

Chapter 1 Percy

I woke up during the night, with a craving for cookies. Blue of course. So I went downstairs to the kitchen. But behind the door, I heard yelling. My mom and my stepdad Gabe were arguing, again. Then I heard the door to our apartment door slam shut. I heard sobbing. I went through the door. My mom was sitting at the dining table with her head resting in her hands. When she saw me, she stood up and whipped the years from her eyes.
"What are you doing up this late?" She said.
"Looking for cookies." I said. I walked over to her. " You okay? "
"Yeah, yeah? I'm fine. But, I need to tell you something. Pack your bags, we're moving to San Fransisco.

Three weeks, three weeks it took us to pack up. I was putting the last of my stuff in some boxes, when I heard a knock on my bedroom door. "Come in." I turned around to see my best friend, Grover.
"Hey man." He said. "How's it going?"
"Could be better."
"Ready for the big move? I mean, you need to be. You are moving all the way across the country. We're all gonna miss you."
"Please, save me the speech. I'm moving and that's that."
"Whoa. Where this attitude come from?"
"Look, I'm sorry, I just have a lot on my mind right now."
"I know how you feel. When I first moved to New York, I had a lot on my mind too." Then Grove started helping me pack up the last of my things. When we finished the moving van arrived. Grover helped us load it up. Then we said our goodbyes. We definitely didn't get teary-eyed, we are grown boys.

We got in the the car, I was in the front seat with my mom my little twelve year old brother ,Tyson, sat in the back.

After a couple of hours I fell asleep. When I woke up, the car was parked I front of nice size house brick house. It was a two stories. I got out the car, Tyson was starting in awe at the house right next to me.
"Its huge!" Tyson yelled in glee.
"Your just saying that because our apartment was small." I said.
"Percy and Tyson, let's help get the van unloaded. Start grabbing boxes and bring them inside."
We grabbed as many boxes as we could and started hauling them inside.
It took us a couple of hours to unload all of our stuff. After we finished, I went explore the new house,maybe hoping to pick out my new bedroom.
I was almost done exploring when my mom called me down. I sprinted down the stairs to the front door where my mom and Tyson were standing with the door open. At the front door was a family. A man with blonde curly hair, a woman a bit younger than my mom, a young girl about my age with blonde curls like the man and stormy grey eyes, and two boys about Tyson's age that looked exactly the same. We stood in silence for a couple of seconds, but finally the girl finally spoke up.
"Hi, I'm Annabeth, Annabeth chase."
"I'm Percy, Percy jackson." She shook my hand.
" Its nice to meet you Percy."
"Nice to meet you too."
"I'm Fredrik and this is my wife, Hellen and these are our sons Bobbh and Mathew. We're having a barbeque tonight, and we thought you guys might want to join us." The man said.
"I don't see why not."
"Great, we'll see you later."
"Yes you  will."
They walked back to their house, which was surprisingly right next door. My mom closed the door behind them.
"Well, aren't they a charming bunch." My mom said.
"Yeah, but let's get to really know them before we fall for them."
"Well, go start unpacking, or find your rooms. Just do what you have to do."
I ran upstairs and looked around a bit, until I came upon the perfect room. It had nice size bed, a window seat, a  walk in closet. The best part, the walls were blue. It was the best room I had ever seen I my life!
"Found my room!" I yelled. My mom walked up.
"It suits you, Perce. But it's missing something, its missing all of your things. These boxes aren't going to unpack themselves." She patted me on the back and gave me smile. I sighed and went down stairs to get some of my stuff.

I spent a couple of hours unpacking things, until my mom called my down to go to the   neighbors for the barbeque. My mom was waiting the door.
"Come on Perce, do something with your hair." She started to try to calm down my untamed raven black hair. But I did my best to swat away her hands.
"Stop! Your messing up my fluff."
"Fine, you win this time. Now come on we're going to be late."
"It's literally next door, you can't be late."
We walked next door, my mom knocked and Annabeth answered the door.
"Come on in," she said steping to the side so we could walk inside. I looked around, their house was way nicer then ours. I talking italian leather furniture, cream colored walls, white marble kitchen cabinets.
"My parents are the backyard if you want to talk."
"Thank you, Percy, behave yourself." She ruffled my hair and walked off to the backyard.
Annabeth squatted down at Tyson, "Bobby and Mathew are playing upstairs, I'm sure they would love to play with you." She smiled at him, he ran upstairs to go with her brothers.

"Come on, I wanna introduce you to some of my friends." She started walking to the backynard so I followed her. We went through the backdoor, the outside was even better then the inside. It had a tiki bar, pool, one of my favorites, which had a couple of kids in it, most of them my age. Annabeth handed me some swim trunks.
"I heard you liked swimming." A little blush appeared on her face.
"Well you heard right, my dear friend." I sprinted off to the bathroom to get changed.

Once I got changed, I ran to the pool. I got outside, Annabeth was wading in the pool next to kids my age, one boy one girl. The girl had black hair that went down her back with blue tips, she had electric blue eyes, she was wearing a black bakini. The boy had sandy blonde hair, and matching blue eyes just like the girls. All three of them were talking and laughing, they seemed like they were having a blast. When Annabeth saw me she waved her hand, gesturing for me to come over to them. I walked over and got into the pool. I swam off to them.
"Percy, this is Luke and Thalia. Thalia, Luke, this is Percy, he just moved here next door."
"Hey, nice to meet you." Said Luke.
"Sup, you better be nice to Annie. Or you'll see what I can do." Said Thalia, giving me a death glare.
"Thalia. Sorry about her, she can get a little tense."
"I noticed."
"So, Percy, where you from?" Luke asked.
"New York." I said. I also made a mental reminder to than Luke for changing the subject.
"New York huh. Pretty far. Don't worry, you'll like it here."
"I'm sure I-" I didn't get to finish my sentence, because I was itterupted.
