The Return of the Clod Squad

Hello, everyone! Admin Liv is here to tell you what the fuck is going on :D

So we were last seen at the end of the 2018 Writing Games, and after that we sort of dropped off the face of the earth

We've been planning some new things in the meantime, and would like to announce some things! But first, where have we been?

We were all struggling with balancing life garbage during the Writing Games and afterwards, so we've not really had the chance to come back until now

Since the Wattpad breach in July, we were locked out of the old account and we were forced to migrated here instead (an alt of Starry's that wasn't in use)

Some changes have occurred since 2018, which we'd like to tell you about now

We would like to announce that we're doing the new 2021 Writing Games! That's right folks, the Writing Games are making a comeback after three years, but with several changes

Instead of every month, prompts will occur every two months (so there will be six updates instead of twelve), and updates will occur at the end of every even month

Also, there will be no voting this time! The voting system from before was honestly trash and added undue pressure to an event that was supposed to be fun for all of us, so we've eliminated that aspect entirely

You can still comment and tell us who your favorite was, but there's no formal competition this time, just a fun challenge to us clods and a fun experience for you the reader

The new Writing Games will kickoff in January (well, February actually), but in January we'll tell you what the first prompt is :)

Also, there's been a major change to the cast :D

Not the cast of characters used in the stories (which mostly will be the same), but a change to the cast of who runs this account!

If you've read in either Starry or I's random books, we've hinted at this and now we'll be revealing who we've selected to be the new Clod!

There will be four chapters with each update instead of three (one from each admin), as well as misc stories and AUs

If we ever decide to get them reworked, Riddle Escapist and Vizion High may get a rebranding, who knows :thinkfast:

But until then, we'll be off! Keep an eye out for my rebooted main series on my main account and Starry's edits for her own series!
