Sudden - a chaelisa oneshot

Lisa and Rosé are bestfriends for about 2 years now. They got along fast because they had the same interests and also because they were in the same age. 

It is also now their tradition to go at places every May 7.. the day they first met at the library.  To celebrate the friendship they never thought they'd have.

As Rosé props her phone through a half-body mirror, she saw Lisa’s contact on it, wanting to facetime the girl.

She then presses the ‘Accept’ button.

“Chaeyoung-ah! What are you doing?” Lisa asks.

“I’m trying to do a new hairstyle since i’m always keeping my hair down everytime we go outside. I’m fed up with it.” Rosé replies as she was tying the other half part of the hair while looking with all concentration on the mirror.

“Silly. You don’t have to do such efforts. Your simplicity makes you even prettier.” Lisa says.

Rosé then flashed a shy smile while looking down for a second. She’s actually used to Lisa giving such compliments frankly to her but the effect of it on her has always been the same. She’s always flustered. Blushing, rather.

“Stop it, Lisa! I don’t wanna be that simple girl for now and besides...” Rosé replies but then pauses immediately as she realizes her mouth was about to slip on the last sentence.

“Besides?” Lisa asks.

“Nothing.” Rosé quickly replies.

“Whoo!” Rosé says as she was done on her thing and gets her phone right after.. “Lisa, i’m all ready now. See you on our favorite restaurant. I’m gonna end this call now.” -Rosé

“Alright. See you later.” Lisa replies as she ended the call.

Before leaving the house, Lisa took a deep sigh as if something's about to happen later that she badly needs to prepare herself even if she is already prepared.

Same thing goes to Rosé, she had never felt this nervous just by meeting her bestfriend.. which she always do.

As Rosé stops her car at the nearest parking lot, she quickly glances outside and was able to see Lisa standing, waving at the car Rosé's in happily, just like a kid excited to see the fireworks at night.

A quick smile formed through Rosé's lips

“Kyaahh!” Lisa shouts as she hugged Rosé like there's no tomorrow, not even caring about the people around them

“Shh stop it Lisa, you’re embarrassing we're in public right now. And we just hanged out 2 days ago.” Rosé says with a strict tone in her voice. As always.

“You’re just like my mom.” Lisa broke the hug then rolled her eyes at the taller one.

Rosé let out a chuckle and quickly messed Lisa’s hair making the younger one pout.

The two gets in the restaurant and sits at the farthest table near the window.

“Order anything, i’ll pay.” Lisa says.

“Is this eat all you can?” Rosé asks as she giggled.

“Yeah.. So order first.” Lisa answers the older one as she looks down on her cellphone, trying to suppress her romantic excitement caused by the girl in front of her.

It also has been long enough since she felt that way. And she can say she's really thankful to God for making them 2 meet in a very unexpected way. Just like how soulmates meet one another.

“Okay then, Lis. Don’t blame me if your wallet turns empty later.” Rosé says making the two of them laugh.

Rosé ordered first, followed by Lisa.
