the 3rd grade fight

Duke and kaylee hung out everyday at school. They sat together at lunch. They played at recess. They were inseparable. One day kaylee called Duke after school.

"Hello Kaylee"

"Hi Duke"

"Whats wrong" Duke could tell she had been crying.

"ill tell you at school tomorrow" said kaylee

The next day they met at the school kaylee was wearing her favorite jean skirt and black jacket with her long brown hair in a braid. Duke looked at her . She looked amazing. Duke was wearing his favorite hoodie and jeans.

"What was wrong with you last night" Duke said worries. Duke was very protective over people he cared about. Kaylee was like his sister.

"You remember Joe right" kaylee said hiding her face. She looked svared like Duke was gonna hate what she had to say.

"Yea? What he do to you i swear ill kill him" Duke said fulled by anger and rage.

"He asked me out and i said yes" said kaylee backing up

Duke looked at kaylee. He was shocked he turned around. Kaylee put her hand on his shoulder to calm him down but it was pointless. Duke felt betrayed. He felt alone again. It had been awhile since he felt like this. He didnt know what to do.

He looked at kaylee"after all the shit he put you through ,put me through. After everything you still chose him him after everything are you fucking stupid" everything came out he saw a tear come to kaylees eye.

"Dont talk to me ever again" kaylee screamed at him and ran off.

"Ill be fine on my own" Duke said to her as she ran off. But thats the thing he hated being alone he hated not having anyone to talk to. He was scared.

Duke went to class and sat there writing in the same song book from first grade it wasnt full yet. Duke couldnt concentrate. He felt like he had to cry but it had been so long since. He knew he was alone that he couldn't trust anyone from then on. He was back to being a fat loser no one cared bout just like he was in 1st grade. He hated the feeling but he delt with it
