*Aveline's POV*

Here's how my mornings usually go:
1. I  wake up at 7
2. Take a shower and get dressed all cute (because I wanna feel like the main character-)
3. Take the bus to my university
4. Rush to the campus cafe so that I'm the first person there
5. Reach class just in time

Pretty chill, yeah?

Here's how my morning went today:
1. I woke up 30 minutes late
2. Only had enough time to throw on a hoodie and sweatpants
3. Missed my bus
4. Got to the cafe and saw a big line
5. Got stuck in said line

How did this happen? My dumbass stayed up all night reading fanfiction.

I was already 10 minutes late and there were 5 people still in front of me. As I waited impatiently, I heard the strumming of a guitar. I turned my head around and saw a guy with dark sitting near the window, playing guitar in front of a microphone.  Since when do they have live music here, I thought to myself. Oh right, I'm usually really early.

The guy was pretty lean. He had a loose black tee on tucked into dark grey skinny jeans, and a black beanie accentuated with red. His sneakers matched his beanie. Honestly, he looked pretty decent. Now I just had to see his face to decide whether he was cute or not, but his head was lowered and his hair further hid his face.

As I was checking him out, the barista called out a name and guitar boy looked up and oh. My. God. He had amber eyes that seemed to shine brightly. He had an a m a z i n g bone structure. I'm talking high cheekbones, perfect nose,  s h a r p j a w l i n e-

Simply said, he was hot.

As I, continued to ogle at him, he quickly ended what he was playing and went up to the counter. I was so distracted by him that I didn't hear his name. He got his drink from the barista and turned around to go back when we locked eyes. I quickly looked away. Crap did he notice me staring? He walked back to where his guitar was and pulled out his phone.

"Miss, you're holding up the line." The barista's words snapped me out of my thoughts. I saw the line had cleared up. Wow they sure worked fast.

"Oh, um, sorry. I'll have a large cold brew with 3 sugars." I paid for my coffee and gave the barista my name. I went to a table near the wall as I waited for my drink. I pulled out my phone and started texting my best friend.

The barista called my name and I got my coffee. As I left the cafe, I felt someone's eyes looking at me but I was already late so I didn't look back to check.
